    Lush Bubble Bars

    Love them!

They have lots of great scents, they make TONS of bubbles, and leave your skin feeling really nice. They are a bit spendy but each bar can be broken into 2-4 pieces for that many baths. I'm a huge fan of these.

  • RevitaLash MD RevitaLash

When I first got this, I honestly didn't think it would work much, if it all. But I've been using this for four months and the results are amazing! I've used it every night (even though it says after awhile, you can cut down to twice a night). I'm still on my first tube. My eyelashes are long and full, and parts that were sparse are now filled in. People have commented on my amazing lashes many times since using this product. It is easy to apply, and I haven't had any problems with the skin around my eyes darkening. It does sting like hell if you get it in your eyes, so be careful. Yes, it is expensive. But the results are amazing, and I'm almost definitely going to keep using it when I run out!

  • L'Occitane Cherry Blossom Eau de Toilette

I tried this out in stores and keep planning on going back to get it! It smells wonderful, feminine, sweet and floral without being cloying or overwhelming. It's nice and natural, and has a decent wear time. It is a bit spendy, but worth it. The packaging is pretty cute also--I just love the brushed metal spray pump and lid.

  • L'Occitane Vanilla Eau de Toilette

This smells amazing. Not artificial at all, but nice and rich. I love L'Occitane fragrances! It has decent length of wear. It is spendy, and the packaging is kind of cool and retro, and kind of old and grandmotherly. A bit spendy, but good stuff.

  • L'Occitane Citrus Verbena Summer Fragrance

I love L'Occitane fragrances, and this one is no exception. It smells nice and natural, not at all artificial. It smells light and fresh, and citrusy, without being too faint, or too overpowering. The scent is decently long lasting, and the bottle is lovely. It is spendy, but fabulous.

  • MAC Pro Longwear SPF 10 Foundation

I have oily skin. I hadn't found a foundation that can deal with it, or even a primer/foundation combo that will work until I tried this product! Just by itself, this foundation keeps me fairly matte til the end of the workday, and a quick application of MAC blot powder keeps my oily skin tamed until bedtime! This looks natural, and not cakey or heavy. It can be applied lightly (light-medium coverage), or it can be built up for more coverage. I'd prefer that it was in a squeeze tube instead of a pump bottle, but the pump is a neat design. It is a bit spendy, but it works so well that I'm pretty sure this will be the only foundation I ever buy again.

    EcoTools Bamboo Eye Shading Brush

Wouldn't buy it unless it was in a set.

This is a good quality brush. It looks nice, doesn't shed, and is nice and soft. Ecotools has great company policies, and makes well made, ecofriendly products. But I don't care to use this brush for shading or pressed eyeshadow or blending. Maybe it works better for mineral eyeshadow? It is pretty good for patting on concealer though. My personal preference is a fluffier eyeshadow brush.

  • Urban Decay Afterglow Glide-On Cheek Tint

Urban Decay Afterglow Glide-On Cheek Tint

Didn't like it at first, but it grew on me.

I have this in "Fetish" which is a cool toned mauve/dusty rose with silver shimmer. This product is like Tarte's cheekstains, but in a compact case, but less sticky and slightly more creamy. I use a flat foundation brush to pat the color on, because I don't like sticking my fingers in the product, or getting it on my hands. It works out really well actually! At first I didn't like this product because the color seemed really frosty, and that it faded too fast. However, I've begun to layer on the color more (foundation and powder first, then cheek tint, then powder, then more tint, then powder) and it stays really well. That sounds like a lot of steps, but it doesn't take that long and really helps the color. I had also initially thought that the color was too cool for my NC30ish skintone, but after applying it a little more heavily, it looks nice and natural. I love the packaging--sturdy, fun and artsy, and has a nice mirror inside too. It is a bit spendy, but I'm kind of hooked on these (and I usually stick with powder blush). I'm seriously considering buying other colors. You can use it on your lips too!

  • the Balm Overshadow

    the Balm Overshadow

    Underwhelming.

I have this in "Work is Overrated," which is a shimmery pale lavender in the jar, and a cool frosty sheen on eyes. (Gotta love the Balm's cute product and shade names). What it claims to do: "Overshadow was created to add a luxe look to the lid, taking the most subtle daytime shadow and amping it up for nighttime fun. Apply over your favorite shadow to give a fresh look to your staple shadows colors. Dust the lighter shades on shoulders, cheeks - anywhere - for a sexy shimmer." So basically, it's a sheer shadow. You can use it as an allover color if you just want a hint of shimmer and not much color. Or you can use it over another shadow (this is kind of an underwhelming concept to me...because you could do that with any shadow really?) I personally do not like loose powders because they get everywhere. It does tend to fade/look muddy by the end of the day, even with eyeshadow primer. I wouldn't repurchase.

  • MAC Blot Powder Pressed

I have incredibly oily skin. With this Blot Powder and my MAC Pro Longwear foundation, I don't worry about getting shiny! I can go an entire workday without needing to blot again, and only reapply if I'm going out in the evening. This powder is great for touchups, and doesn't look cakey. I don't think I'll ever buy another powder again.
