    OPI Nail Lacquer

OPI is what got me into doing my nails

I never used to bother doing my nails, except for the classic french for special occasions. Since I discovered OPI 8 years ago, I really began to love seeing my nails look so shiny and coated in rich, highly pigmented colors. The formula on most colors tends to be good, and the polish doesn't chip easily. The wide brush helps you do a quick mani in just a few strokes (although since my nail beds are small, sometimes I get a bit on my skin). I started using Essie a few year ago too (interchangeably), but my favorite colors are still from OPI: You Don't Know Jacques from the french collection and Samoan Sands.

  • Essie Nail Polish

    Essie Nail Polish

    my other fav

Though OPI is one of my favorite polishes, since I discovered Essie, I started loving the soft shades Essie offers. The fact that I can do a relatively mistake-free manicure using the smaller brush (compared to OPI's) is great. I like the formula, which is shiny, smooth, and doesn't chip for days after applying it. It takes me a few coats to get the perfect shade on the colors I'm using now (mink muffs, soulmate, ballet slippers and chinchilly), but the end result is pretty.

  • L'Occitane Pure Shea Butter

I bought the travel size, and have been using it on my lips and cuticles. I find that it takes a bit of heating it up to get it to the right texture, but it works ok. I'm still not sure if I'll buy it again once it runs out. It is a decent product and I'd give it another half point just because I like that it's pure shea butter.

  • Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme
    8.0

    Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme

delivers smoothness and a nice scent

I love Burt's bees natural products, and this is probably my favorite from the ones I've tried so far. The first time I tried it, I wasn't impressed with the sticky, oil-based formula, but as' I got the hang of putting on my cotton socks over my coated feet, the "creme" worked wonders overnight. I love using it because it has worked better than any body butter or creme I have used previously to treat dryness on heels and rough spots. The scent is initially strong, but it gradually becomes a soft, sweet minty vanilla that I find really pleasing. I would recommend it to anyone that wants an effective solution for dry feet, as long as you don't mind wearing socks over the creme.

  • L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream

I buy this creme when I'm going to fly, and it really soothes my hands when I'm feeling the dryness from cabin air. It's great for dry skin, though it does take a little bit of time to fully be absorbed. I wasn't that crazy about the metal tube at first, but it makes it really easy to get all of the product out. It's a little pricey, but it seems to last me longer than most of my other hand cremes.
