Foot Doctors and Facial Treatments Should Never go Together, Just Ask this Regretful Woman

This lotion by Jergens felt ordinary. My body really dries out so I'm always on the lookout for an exceptional body moisturizer.I wasn't terribly excited with the results nor was I exuberant about the scent. The lotion did the job of eliminating any patchy, ashy spots and the scent was...not horrible but not wonderful, either. Luckily, the fragrance wasn't too strong or overpowering. It faded quickly I needed to reapply it though, to keep my hands and feet from cracking. For a drugstore lotion, I think it did the job for a reasonable price.

Frizz-Ease 3-Day Straight Semi-Permanent Smoothing and Straightening Spray
John Frieda 3-Day Straight
I have thick, wavy hair that is prone to frizz if the humidity is high. Not a hairspray user, or a special product (like a straightening product) user, I was expecting a strong smell being masked by an even stronger fragrance. I was wrong. All I could smell was a very faint hair product smell when I first misted it over my hair and even that disappeared quickly. Pleasantly surprised, I happily misted all of my wet hair (roughly 5 sprays) after my daily shower for almost a week, then promptly used my hair dryer as per instruction. If I had wanted my hair truly straightened, I could have also employed the use of an optional flat iron. But since I didn’t own such a device, the hair dryer would have to do. Aside from my very thick hair that wanted to hold onto its waves at my ends, the hair dryer was enough to keep the top third straight pretty easily, though .Results were soft, frizz-free, shiny, and straight; not stiff or crunchy. And it added a bit of shine to my hair. I can’t say I’d purchase it myself because it would add another step to my morning routine but I’d recommend it for those looking for soft, straight hair that has a healthy sheen

This lotion with monoi oil glides over your skin to leave it smooth and smelling like a day at the beack. It's quite fragrant so it could compete with your perfume if you'd like to wear it. Otherwise, the lotion-oil soaks in your skin nicely and begs you to rub it all over.

My heels crack during the summer because I walk barefoot on pavement. Heck, if I don't routinely scrub, buff, and moisturize my feet all year, I pay the price. I use one of the many Bath & Body Works scrubs on my feet in the shower, give myself a pedicure with a favorite polish on my toenails, moisturize, and put socks on. The peppermint feels cool and relaxing. I'm left with beautiful ,soft feet.

The smell of this lotion is disgustingly sweet. Yuck. When the saleswoman tested it on my hand, all i could think of were sugar cookies with powdered sugar and boxed cake mix. Since I honestly didn't want to smell like either, I didn't buy it.

After shaving your legs, this is a wonderful, thick, creamy moisturizer. For dry skin, it is one of the best. And with Bath & Body Works' many sales and deals, you can't beat the price.

Around your Birthday, if you're on the list, you get a free beauty treat from Sephora. This year were some eye make-up goodies. The mascara (volume black) was similar to drug store mascaras in my opinion. I don't regularly wear mascara, so I'm not the person to really ask but the mascara seemed to coat my lashes without clumping, and it seemed to blacken my lashes all evening. It came off easily with cream cleanser. I don't have any complaints. It was a good free mascara.

This hand wash was a sale item and smells like a delicious dessert. My hands aren't particularly soft after using it but it gets my hands clean and it really does smell like smooth, lemon custard. It is pricey though so purchase it only when there's some sort of deal.

Let's face it. We all like to have soft, moisturized lips. A fun, minty flavor and a decent price is an extra benefit! I can wear this classic product under a lip color and my lips feel wonderfully soft and kissable. And I got it for roughly a dollar at a local grocery store!
