  • Maybelline New York Fit Me! Blush

I'm light-skinned and bought this in a light pink color. I use a kabuki brush to apply it so I get nice coverage and it works out really well! It adds a hint of color without being overbearing and looks really good. I leave it 8 stars because I think there's room for improvement on how long it lasts. Then again, I'm bad at not touching my face so I'm probably not helping anything. Good blush! Worth a buy!

    Ulta Automatic Eye Liner

    The best for the price!!!

...and when I say "price," I mean, when they go on sale for $2 at Ulta! A year ago I figured I'd give it a go since they were only 2 bucks a piece. GREAT purchase. I got black/brown and raisin. They work as well as any eyeliner I've tried. Raisin color (purple) is a little light... it's not a dark color at all, so it works when you want minimal eye makeup. I wish these came with the smudger-end like the Covergirl Perfectpoint eyeliners do. But turns out Ulta does actualy sell some with the smudger, but they aren't the $2 ones. I think I had to splurge for $4! haha. Really great product though. Best $2 I ever spent. And they really do last as long as any other automatic eyeliner I've tried! Woot! Was going to give this 8 stars... but really, the quality for the price makes me want to bump this up! Oh, what the heck!

  • CoverGirl Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner

This is my favorite eyeliner. I did away with pencils a long time ago and haven't regretted it for a minute. I use the espresso color. (I have fair skin and save the black for going out! Brown is way more natural-looking). I like this eyeliner because it goes on really smoothly and doesn't dry out right away so that the smudger really works! It helps the line look more natural, not line a distinct line above your eye. That's my taste, anyway. Wear makeup to look like you're not really wearing makeup. That's what I believe in. It should just enhance your real features. Anyway, that's what this eyeliner does. The color is perfect, it goes on smoothly, blends well, and is a great price! The only reason I didn't give it 10 stars is because the other reviewers are right that it doesn't really stay pointed... The tip rounds off. It doesn't bother me at all though since you can just blend the edges. Overall, great eyeliner! Especially for the price! And I love that it comes with a smudger!

  • Maybelline New York Dream Matte Mousse

Okay. I have fair skin. I think I bought this in the second to lightest shade they have. Anyway, I don't like to use foundation, either. But I have some red areas around my nose, under my cheekbones, etc that I like to lighten up (not brighten!). I also usually always have a blemish of some kind I want to hide. This product works great for all these purposes! I don't recommend this for wearing all over. I can see how people wouldn't like it everywhere. It's thicker than liquid makeup (not lightweight at all) so it covers better but could look cakey if worn all over. I just use a very small amount and make sure to blend it in so it's not "crumbly" at all. A little goes a long way. I highly recommend this for people who don't like to wear a lot of foundation and just want to correct a few areas. Buy this in a shade lighter than your skin color! It works well as kind of a "concealer" and lasts forever!

  • Maybelline New York Great Lash Washable Mascara

As soon as the wand touched my lashes it felt like the brush was just soaked with mascara. It clumped so bad and so much was applied at once. To fix it I had to manually separate my lashes from the 5 distinct mega-lashes this brush created. I eventually just used some eye-makeup remover and started over. Again, it got everywhere and as soon as I'd blink, the mascara got on my eyelid and under my eye. It was so weird! I don't have that high of standards for my mascara but this was just not good! I had heard that this little mascara worked so well for the price and it's been around forever. I have to admit that I don't know why. I don't give out 1's... but there was just nothing good about this... I admit that I didn't buy this product myself. I was borrowing from a friend when I used it... I don't know if I just got a bad one or what but we both agreed that this was the worst mascara we'd ever tried! Overall, there are way better mascaras for the price. Try Covergirl Professional or Maybelline One-by-One. Wayyy better applications!

  • CoverGirl Professional All-in-One Curved Brush Mascara

I've been using this mascara since high school and it's great! The curved brush worked well for me when I first started wearing makeup. I suppose I could see how people wouldn't like it with different shaped eyes than me but I thought it was great! I actually found a straight wand harder to adjust to after using this. Anyway, the formula was great in black/brown which is the color I always use. I like the natural looking eye makeup so this mascara was perfect for me. Wasn't too light or heavy. I've moved up to the CG Lashblast Volumizing since and like it a bit more. But if you don't like to splurge on mascara, this product is a great option! (Even if you get the straight wand).

  • CoverGirl LashBlast Length Water Resistant Mascara
    5.0

CoverGirl LashBlast Length Water Resistant Mascara

Very light application; just okay for me.

The handle on this is a little long and flexible, making it kind of hard to apply. It is definitely not a thickening mascara, as the application is really thin. It doesn't clump much and keeps lashes separate. It's pretty good overall. I just felt like I had to keep dipping the brush back into the tube to get coverage that I'm more used to. It's VERY light with a single application. Good for people who don't want to look like they're wearing makeup (because they barely will be) or like the natural look!
