  • Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends Natural Radiance Bronzer

I am pretty fair-skinned. This bronzer is really good but not great. I am excited to try other options. It is just still a little tiny bit orange tinted... What I like is that it doesn't make me break out or anything at all and is nice to use for contouring and to look sun-touched. The tip I have for other fair-skinned gals is to use it over your eyelids and around your mouth. These places are easy to forget and are a dead giveaway that you're wearing bronzer and it's not a real bronze. I shouldn't even say "bronze" for this because it really is lighter and does more "tanning" than "bronzing." I also really like that it's not shimmery like other bronzers I've tried and they just looks so obvious in the light! Next I think I'll look for bronzers made for fair skin so that they hopefully look more natural. This is really good though, don't get me wrong! And it lasts forever!

  • Maybelline New York Volum' Express Falsies Flared Washable

I love the shape of the brush on this mascara. The formula is nice, too. It goes on really well in just a couple strokes. It clumps a little, but only about as much as you'd expect from a mascara in general. It works well, like Maybelline mascaras tend to do... And it definitely doesn't flake! Big fan!

  • Maybelline New York One by One by Volum' Express Washable Mascara

It does everything you want a good mascara to do. It does nothing you don't want mascara to do. It's a great one! My favorite so far. It adds a little definition, volume, length, everything! It doesn't clump either! The wand is shorter and the brush head shape is curved, so it's easy to maneuver and apply. This is one I keep coming back to over and over! I even got my mom and sister to try it out! I really like all maybelline mascaras, but this one just adds the right touch to my lashes to make them look naturally beautiful. My old favorite drugstore mascara was Cover Girl lashblast, but this one is new favorite becuase the formula doesn't dry hard like it does with the lashblast! It's just such a good basic mascara! And it's cheap, too! Anyone looking for a great new everyday mascara, I highly recommend this one!

  • CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Mascara
    8.0

    CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Mascara

Good mascara, but leaves lashes HARD!

Well, I've got to admit that I haven't tried really upscale mascaras. I'm a drugstore brand kind of girl. But so far, this is the best one I've tried! I didn't realize any flaws with this product until I read other reviews. In reality, it did leave my lashes kind of hard... but other than that I really liked the way it applied and looked! The brush is a really good design (not so long that you don't have good feel). It thickened well like it said it would so my lashes looked bigger. I bought black/brown as I always do and I thought the color was really flattering (on my fair skin). I usually do more natural-looking eye makeup so this one worked really well for me! The large size of the brush didn't bother me at all and I have small hands... You just got to be careful like you are whenever you apply eye makeup. No big deal. Overall, great product!

  • CoverGirl LashBlast Length Mascara
    5.0

    CoverGirl LashBlast Length Mascara

    Hard to Apply, Okay Mascara.

The wand is bad. It's really long and hard to maneuver to get the product from the brush onto the lashes. The wand just kind of bends when I apply it to my lashes. The coverage is definitely not volumizing. I see how this product differs from the volume lashblast mascara. This one defines each lash, making them look longer and not sticking together. Good for a very naturally pretty look rather than a dramatic one. Brush and wand make it hard to apply, I'd try it again if that were fixed. Otherwise, not worth it to me.

  • CoverGirl Professional All-in-One Mascara

This was the first mascara I ever used and I used it for years! I love that it comes with a curved brush making it easy to apply. It also comes in a bunch of colors in case you're like me and didn't want to go for the blackest black. They have black-brown and brown, too. Although I think this is true of all Cover Girl mascaras. They have a good variety and they even offer this same one in waterproof. This wasn't anything too special, but it was very cheap and did what mascaras are meant to do! It added definition, a little length, and a little volume. It doesn't clump badly (a bit, but easy to fix) or smudge either. I have to say, I have no complaints and no raves about it. I've tried a lot of worse mascaras for a lot more money! Great for those starting out wearing makeup! :)

  • Stila Major Lash Mascara
    8.0

    Stila Major Lash Mascara

    Soft, defined lashes!

I don't know what all this negativity is about regarding this mascara at all. I, for one, LOVE IT! It's a cheap way to try out a fancy brand. I got it for only 8 bucks! Anyway, The bristle on the brush are soft and apply without much clumping! The formula dries soft so your lashes aren't hard and itchy later in the day. It adds definition and is a nice dark black that is easy to wear even with my pale skin. Lashes look naturally beautiful with this on. I want to get another tube before they stop making it. I suspect they'll discontinue it because although I can find it at Ulta now, I don't see it on Stila's actual website. Instead, they're replacing it with Major Major Lash which is more than twice as much money! This is one of my favorite mascaras ever, so I don't get why it's gotten poor reviews! I say, go for it!

  • Stila Forever Your Curl Curl Memory Mascara

I know it's not designed to be waterproof or anything, but it runs and smudges worse than any other mascara I've tried, drugstores brands included! I don't notice any "curl" at all either. Honestly, you can spend a lot less money for a lot better mascara, even within the brand! I recommend trying their older "major lash mascara." I've seen it for $8 at Ulta and it's great! They came out with a new "major major lash" one though that's really just way more money for what I imagine to be a very similar product. Anyway, back to this one. The problem with this mascara is that the wand is way too small and weak. It just doesn't feel like it coats lashes easily. It feels like I'm trying to paint the mascara onto my lashes with wet black runny paint. Then anytime I would wipe my eye during the day, mascara would come off onto my hand! Or when I would look into a mirror after a while, I would already have raccoon eyes from nothing! Oh, what a mess. Do not waste money on this one.

  • Aussie Sprunch Mousse + Leave-In Conditioner
    9.0

Aussie Sprunch Mousse + Leave-In Conditioner

    Perfect for low-maintenance hair!

I use this when I don't have time to do my hair in the morning and need to let it air dry. I love that it doubles as a leave in conditioner. My hair is fine, and the mousse is really light, so I get the impression that I have the kind of hair it was made for. It works! It lifts up the natural wave I have in my hair already as long as I don't brush it afterwards or anything. My advice is to put it in, scrunch, and then leave it be! Also, it works best when applied when hair is damp, not too wet. I also love that it doesn't make my hair feel like it has any product in it at all! It has a very soft, light finish that feels natural. It's also SUPER cheap, so for the price, it's a real catch! Definitely recommended!

  • John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Controlled Lightening Spray

I am a strawberry blonde and bought this to use for the summer. It works! My hair got lighter and more like I've been in the sun! Now, I should say that the bottle itself warns against using unless you're already blonde! It probably makes brown hair just look goofy... but on mine it worked perfectly! It worked all around... not in streaks or anything. It also says for best effects, use with heat. So, spray before drying hair or going outside in the sun! I have fine hair and I didn't notice any drying/damaging effects. However, I used this along with a leave-in conditioner! I didn't use this product every day, more like every other to avoid it getting out of control when I was first using it. Now that it's summertime, I'm excited to start using it again! I didn't get through the entire bottle last summer! I got so many compliments, though, on how blonde my hair got in the summer! (little did they know I had this to help!....)
