It feels and smells wonderful going on, but after a little while it felt like my lips were slowly drying out, but with a layer of moisture on top. I've experienced drying with other origins lip products, but this was very mild. I would not use this in the winter, but it's good for the summer. Also, don't depend on the swatches online for color. This is a very sheer liptint, and the actual color on your lips will depend on the color of your lips! So definitely swatch it in person to get a better idea. That said, the organic plum is a lovely color for me, and I have light-medium skin with black hair.

If your skin can handle glycerin, it's pretty good!
My face breaks out like crazy whenever I use products with glycerin. I thought since this was naturally-derived this wouldn't happen, but the effect was only subdued--I broke out, just not as much. However, I'll ignore that for the rest of my review and rating, since it's not like they keep it a secret! For the price, you're getting a good deal. Usually I'm all for natural products, but when it comes to exfoliation, I'm not sure how good the jagged edges of "ground pecan" are for your skin. I've tried other, more expensive products (like Modern Friction) that work MUCH better. This scrub doesn't leave my face feeling nearly as soft, and sometimes the next morning I have a little bit of peeling, like it didn't quite finish the job. But, this tub is very cheap, it smells delicious, and it will last quite a while. Just stay away if you have any problems with glycerin!

Controls my acne
I've always had terrible acne, and until I discovered this and started using it regularly, it was out of control. I used to use this day and night when I was a teenager, as it was just as effective and much cheaper and easier than the prescription stuff. Now I only use it at night, and the difference when I forget to use it is huge. I only need a small amt each night, maybe a dab the size of by fingernail, so it lasts for nearly a year. A couple things: This is 10% benzoyl peroxide, which is doing the real work. It smells a little harsh, but 10 seconds of it is nothing, and it goes away the second you wash it off. It's quite drying, but a good moisturizer (I use Cetaphil face cream) will take care of that. Sensitive skin might take a little while to get used to it, and you should use a white pillowcase and white towel for your face after you use it, as it certainly does bleach fabric over time. This is a slight inconvenience to deal with for the incredible results I have had with this.
