I had first tried the Mineral Sheers loose powder, which I absolutely loved....but my one hope was that Neutrogena would come out with a compact that was easier to use. And VOILA!!! My hopes became reality with this compact powder. My biggest problem with makeup is finding a color that matches my complexion without masking my yellow undertones. This one did the trick. The only difference between the compact and the loose powder that I could notice was that this came out more matte and the loose powder had more of the "glow" associated with mineral powders. Nonetheless, this powder along with the Mineral Sheers loose powder definitely deliver for me. I no longer have to search for what works on my skin, and these two products will be stocked in my cosmetics stash at all times!

I normally don't buy into what I believe is "hype" surrounding MAC products. I feel that there are other products on the market which are just as good at half the price. However, this lipstick is a stand out. I've tried a lot of lipsticks which I THOUGHT I loved, but they don't hold a candle to this one. It goes on smoothly. The color is vibrant and very pigmented. The consistency is excellent and not too thick. And the vanilla-ish smell is just right without being overbearing. There is no lip-sticky smell and it feels very light on. I can't wait to get my hands on some more!

I've never been much of a lipstick person as I prefer glosses instead. However, I saw the color Divine come up quite frequently, and I had to have that beautiful shade of purple. So, I bought it, and boy was I surprised at the quality and color payoff of the lipstick. I loved it so much that I bought 3 more shades. The gel formula just glides on, and it doesn't dry up or flake off like other lipsticks I've tried in the past. Also, one the color wears off, it leaves a stain on your lips so you still look like you have color on. My only wish is that there were more non-shimmery colors because the matte colors are just absolutely fabulous!

I actually kept a lookout for these brushes because I hadn't seem them in any stores, and they finally showed up in the dollar store by my house. I was so excited and couldn't wait to try them out, mainly because I had seen such great reviews on Totalybeauty. When I saw the package in person, I hesitated a little because it didn't LOOK high quality. But I bought it anyway, and boy was I surprised at how good it wasI I have the studio brushes too, and I would venture to say that these bristles are even softer than the studio ones? But regardless, it was such a deal and very good quality for the price you pay! Stock up!

I actually saw this lipstick on an online tutorial, and I liked the color the girl used (525D). I decided to check it out as the color looked good on her, and her skin tone was similar to mine. I was pleasantly surprised by this lipstick! I never wear lipstick and generally stick to lip gloss - but wow, this not only went on very pigmented, but it lasted for a long time! I would say that for pigmentation and lasting ability, it's definitely 10 stars. I gave it a 9 because I didn't care much for the slight lipstick-y taste. Other than that, amazing for the price!

I actually read the reviews for this before I bought it at ULTA. I was actually using a cheap brand that worked quite well as a shiny topcoat, but I just recently bought a GORGEOUS nail color in a less expensive brand and it chipped after one or two days with my regular top coat. So, I figure I would try this in order to extend the life of the nail polish wear. Well, I haven't had it on for too long, but I must say that it definitely dries instantaneously, which in itself is an advantage. If you're like me and don't have time to sit around and wait for your nail polish to dry, this top coat is excellent. I was so shocked at how fast my nails were dry. So, I'm hoping it also extends the life of my manicure by preventing chipping. But thus far, I am definitely satisfied with the shine and the quick dry! I definitely recommend it.

I was skeptical about buying this because I never heard anything about Essie before. I checked out the reviews on here before I went in to ULTA to make my first Essie purchase. I bought an obnoxiously bright hot pink color called Pink Parka. I wanted to get it ASAP because now that fall is here, it seems like all the neon colors from the summer are phasing out. Anyway, the color is nice and bright and so far no chips *knock on wood* The price is higher than what I'm used to paying for, but I'm hoping that the quality of the nail polish offsets the price.

Love this shadow, and I agree with the other ladies...this product is underrated. I never knew about it until I walked into Sephora one day and swatched the tester. WOW! The eyeshadow is amazing. The colors are beautiful and very pigmented. I bought the Shady Lady palette and love all of the colors included. I like the compact design of it and will be taking it with me on trips!

I actually read the reviews before I bought this and was expecting it to be pretty bad with such a low rating. I only bought it because it was on clearance and I had a coupon, so I got it really cheap and figured I'd give it a try. It turned out to be pretty decent! It definitely leaves you with the tingly feeling that most plumpers do, but it does not deliver a Dolly Parton type look. However, the gloss itself is pretty good in terms of lasting power and shine. The taste is very subtle and it's slightly sticky but not so much that it's super annoying. I think it's a pretty good gloss in general.

I was skeptical about buying this cream shadow. But it was on sale at Walgreens, so I decided to give it a go. I got steely to use as a base for a smoky eye. I really really really like this! It goes on really smoothly and it lasted all day!!! It didn't crease either! I'm seriously contemplating getting another color because I'm so impressed by the quality! Definitely would recommend this product!
