  • Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Parfum

I stumbled on this perfume by surprise (I know, what world do I live in?). I always imagined Chanel's perfumes as No5 (my mom's) and the Chanel Chance cut outs in magazines. But when I spritzed this one on my arm to try it out, I fell in love right away. I have never looked back since! This perfume as a slight floral smell, sort of on the sweeter side when you first spray it and then blends well with one's skin natural smell. I always get compliments on how good I smell. It also stays very long and still carries a nice after-smell. I think whatever perfume you decide to buy, it should definitely blend well with your own natural smell. Of all high-end expensive perfumes I have tried, this one is my new signature smell and is definitely a keeper!!!

    Lancome Juicy Tubes

    Mom loves it, I don't

My mom LOVES this gloss. As a middle aged woman, she says it gives her good balance of shimmer and color and she loves it when her lips are SUPER shiny. I, on the other hand, am not a big fan of these. This gloss is very sticky, takes a while to spread on your lips and because it IS so sticky, it is hard to smear when you put one lip over another (I can't think of a the best way to describe this, sorry!). Otherwise, the color selection is great, they are about average priced for dept store glosses and if you live near an outlet, it's even cheaper, so makes it a good deal for a Lancome product. :) I personally like Dior Addict best.

  • Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets

I keep one pack with my makeup purse at home and another in my purse at all times. I have very oil skin on my face and these are a Godsend. I used to use regular Klenex sheets or any tissue to blot my face and found that it would also remove my makeup (along with the oil!). These sheets are so awesome that they only absorb the oil and not my make up. I also use them right before a re-touch up say, in the middle of the day. I don't rub them, just gently tap the sheet on my face's oily area and it just soaks up the oil. It's really nice! Would recommend!

  • Clarins Super Restorative Day Cream

I am obsessed with skin care and I love this product. I am not over 50 (my mom is) and she recommended this along with my sales lady at the Clarins counter. I essentially spend all of my salary on Clarins and I love their line. I've tried every other brand that's usually around Clarins counter (we all know them!) and I find that because Clarins only uses natural, tree-based, grass-based ingredients, they have a very calming effect on my skin. This cream lathers into my skin well without leaving it caky or a white residue. It absorbs into the skin and if you touch the skin, you don't feel it, but when you wash your face at night (even if I had no make up on), I still feel like I'm washing off something smooth. As soon as I dry my face I realize how "naked" I feel. This is the sealing effect of the cream. I love that part, too. I also use the night cream that comes in this line. I also use their Alpine Herbs make up remover and sensitive skin toner. This is the only line that doesn't make me break out, leave bumps or leaves my skin inflamed. I really enjoy Clarins and would recommend their skin-care line to anyone!

  • Degree Women Clinical Protection for Women

This deodorant/anti-antiperspirant is simply awesome. A friend recommended Degree brand and I ended up selecting the "clinical protection" part. I simply LOVE it. I also think the "Classical Romance" is better than all other sents and for some reasons works well with my body smell. I tried the "Clean Powder" smell and I find that it doesn't work so well smell-wise and surprisingly wetness-wise either. I feel like my sweaty arm pits are back again with the "Power Fresh/Clean Powder" type. Otherwise, I use this at night after my night shower, then also in the morning when I wake up. Sometimes I also supplement with Certain Dri before an important day to make sure 100% I can wear whatever clothing I want without worrying about sweat stains. I also find that Degree Clinical Protection does not discolor clothing or leave yellow arm pit stains like my other deodorants. It goes on clean and stays clean! I looove it!

  • Lancome Definicils High Definition Mascara

I think this is a good quality product. You get what you paid for, that's for sure. They say you should throw away your mascara every 2 months and this mascara starts to clump after about 3 months. Initially, it's really good: thin formula, defines lashes well and goes on smoothly without smudging. It's not waterproof or anything and leaks right away, even with slight tearing, but it looks great otherwise. It definitely lived up to its claim until I tried E.L.'s mascara. I noticed that after some time, my eyes start to get watery with this and I may have some type of love-hate relationship with Lancome. I LOVE their stuff and colors (eye shadow especially), but my eyes don't. My mom has the same problem. :( But this is one of the best mascaras I've used. :)

  • Aveda Be Curly Curl Enhancer

This product was recommended as a "finishing touch" by my Aveda salon hair stylist. I've been using it for about a year and I would say it is consistently my favorite product to use. It smells pretty good (natural, like all Aveda stuff), it defines my curls, but as with any product of this type, if you use it around your scalp area (or even near), it gunks up and makes my hair look oily and gross. I have to use some type of anti-frizzing spray/product with this because it doesn't work well with my upper-head frizzing. :( But overall, it's one of the best I've tried thus far. :)

  • TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Conditioner
    6.0

    TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Conditioner

Not "the Best I've ever used" but good

I can't say that I LOVE this conditioner nor can I say that's it's not good. I resort to this when I try something new and it doesn't work. This is my "safety net" conditioner because it doesn't do a bad job, it leaves my hair moist, airy, not heavy and not sticky. I don't use it so much around my scalp area, but everywhere else (I have longer-than-shoulder-length curly hair). It smells pretty good, lathers in easily and washes out easily, too. I usually leave it on for about 2-3 minutes. But I'm still looking for something better. :)
