Sally Hansen 14 Day Nail Shield

    Lived up to promises

This was great! The sticker/cover was a bit hard to figure out at first, but once I got the hang of it they started going on rather quickly. The strips are very long (I tend to wear my nails fairly short), so I trimmed off the excess and then filed it down to match my nail. This did take a little bit of time, but it was still MUCH faster than painting nails and then waiting for them to dry. The shields lasted for over a week and I finally took them off not because they really looked bad (a few small chips here and there), but just because I got tired of them. It also comes with nail shields for toenails. The product worked great on my fingernails, but for some reason I had a really difficult time getting the shields to stick to my toenails. However, I bought them for my fingers and just used the toenail shields because they happened to be there, so that was no big loss for me. I would actually LOVE if they started making this in darker colors. The pink, neutral tones were fine, but I do love wearing dark colors on my fingers, and to have something darker that lasted over a week would be great.

  • L'Oreal Paris EverPure Smooth Shampoo

I was excited to try this shampoo, but I gave it up after only 2 washes. When I blowout my hair I tend to wash it only every 2-3 days. After using this shampoo & conditioner, using my MoroccanOil and blowing out my hair, it was still frizzy! I have wavy/curly hair, but usually with a blowout I can keep it straight & frizz-free for 2-3 days. Using this shampoo/conditioner did not give me a smooth base for a long lasting blowout. Too bad, I really wanted to like it!

  • Marc Anthony Strictly Curls Curl Defining Shampoo

I found this shampoo great for those days that I want to wear my hair curly, but I'm not sure how it would fare as an every-day shampoo. However, even when use this with the conditioner and nothing else, my hair stays relatively curly and non-frizzy. I like it enough to buy it again. Worth a try for any one with curly locks!

    Aveda Be Curly Curl Enhancer

    Go to curl creme!

This is my go-to curl creme. I have wavy hair that I go back and forth between wearing curly and straight, and this curl creme works better than anything else I have found. It cuts down the frizz in a major way. I think if you use too much it weighs hair down, so be careful not to overdo it. A dime-sized dallop is enough for my thick, shoulder length hair. I have also found that mixing it with a stiffer curl creme will give me a more defined look when that's what iIm going for.

  • Avon Anew Clinical Eye Lift

I have had a hard time finding an eye cream that shows results, but this one actually does something ! I have been using it for close to 2 years now, and I know it's made a difference. I was beginning to develelop bags and puffy eyes way too young (26!), and as soon as I started using this I noticed the bags and puffiness going away. 2 years later, I really feel that my eyes look better than they did years ago.

  • Physicians Formula Eye Definer Felt-Tip Eye Marker

after reading the reviews i decided to give this eyeliner a try. there are MANY good things about it, but the best part is it stays put! I just got home from 5 hours of outdoor shopping in 90 degree weather, and my eyeliner hasn't budged! I think that in itself is a miracle! it is a little tough to put on a thin line; it's taken me a bit of practice. but I have found that if you use a damp q-tip right after applying you can clean up any mistakes. also you need to put this eyeliner on first and then apply eyeshadow etc. I have also used a damp makeup brush dipped in dark eye shadow to go over and soften the eyeliner and its a great look! overall, awesome product, very versatile, and stays where you apply it!!

  • L'Oreal Paris True Match Naturale Mineral Foundation

This isn't the worst powder I've ever used, but it's certainly not the best. I liked the color and I actually didn't mind the application, but I felt like it only accentuated my large pores and wrinkles. I'm pretty much just using this up so I can buy something else.

  • Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Radiant Vitalizing Body Gel Oil

this is a very heavy moisturizer, but good for extra dry patches or post shaving. i wouldn't use it for every day, but its a great weekly treatment.
