A decent product

This is a decent product, I will agree about the way it sprays out. Kind of like in a stream, would be better in a true spray form...like how the tresseme heat protectant comes out. Its not heavy at all...like some heat protectants are. I spray it in my hands and apply that way. I use the Pantene root lifter spray on roots, Pantene keratin protection creme on ends/mid shaft, and then the heat protectant worked in all over, then blow dry with round brush,and smooth with flat iron. Not sure if it's the best- haven't used a lot of heat protectant products, but I like the actual product better than tresseme, and one other I tried from Sally's. Also, it's a heat protectant and SHINE spray. I can't say if long term it's protected from heat but it seems to. And does provide plenty of lightweight shine. Overall good product at good price.

Good affordable deep conditioner

This reminds me of the time renewal mask that Pantene did away with. For drugstore brands, I'd say this one is probably the best. I will agree about the tub packaging, awkward and water sometimes gets in the tub. But overall, it's a great conditioner. Smells good too.

Redken Color Extend Conditioner

Didn't hate it but don't love it either.

I went through 2 full bottles of shampoo & conditioner, to get a thorough opinion. I loved it at first. Made my hair shiny, silky, easy to detangle....almost too easy. I don't hate the smell, but I am one who loves the smell of clean hair, and I like to smell it all day, and this def doesn't have a scent like that, and it doesn't last all day. I think it just ended up weighing my hair down after a while, and I always felt like I needed to shampoo twice. I cannot truly say whether it protected my color or not. I bought it because it's redken, and their products are generally good. I recently started gradually changing from years and years of blonde highlights to a brown/red. I don't totally hate the color extend line, but I def don't love it. I need more volume and more of a yummy scent.
