  • Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Creamy Body Wash

At 8 fl oz / 236 ml, this retails for $12.50 at Bath & Body Works stores and online. It goes on sale from time to time and you can score this for less with coupons they send out occasionally. It’s a good buy especially when they have their semi-annual sales. That’s when I stock up on these! The whole squeeze tube container lasted me for about 2 months. The scent I'm citing in this review is in Enchanted Orchid. My favorite scent from them is Butterfly Flower though, but I'm saving it for when I really feel like pampering myself. The back of the tube reads the following: “Our Signature Creamy Body Wash is one of the world’s best-kept secrets for transforming your everyday shower to a luxurious experience. Enriched with Milk and Oat Proteins to soften, smooth and condition skin, its sensuous, creamy lather leaves you feeling silky smooth and beautifully fragrant. Enjoy this rich formula and awaken your senses with our exclusive Enchanted Orchid, an exotic floral that recreates the hypnotic moment of tropical sunlight on rare orchids.” Verdict? I love it. While I don’t see this scent in particular offered online, you might be able to still catch it in stores. I’m not sure if this scent is discontinued or not. I think it is. It has a super creamy formula that definitely gives that luxurious feel when you’re using it. For the price, this luxurious treat definitely worth it. The scent is one of my favorites from the brand. If you get this on sale or with their coupons, it sweetens the deal. They also have various other scents available to choose from in case this scent is not right up your alley.

  • Bath & Body Works Gentle Foaming Hand Soap
    10.0

Bath & Body Works Gentle Foaming Hand Soap

    Cleans well and very convenient

At almost 9 fl oz / 259 ml, $5 is pretty decent for the amount and quality you’re getting. They have a lot of scents to choose from varying from fruity to floral. The scent I'm reviewing in particular is Tropical Passionfruit. I’m not sure if this scent is still in production, but it’s one of my top 5 scents from them. It comes in a plastic pump bottle that’s typical for a foaming hand soap. The front text reads “with Aloe Vera and Vitamin B5” and “with a lightweight foam to gently cleanse hands as it kills germs”. The back of the container reads the following: “Our soft bursts of lightweight foam gently wash away dirt and germs, while leaving skin soft and lightly scented with the enticing fragrance of Tropical Passionfruit. OUR SPECIAL INGREDIENTS •Aloe Vera soothes skin •Pro-Vitamin B5 nourishes skin” Verdict? I love it. The foam pump makes it so convenient to use and it smells great! Other scents I’ve used are Country Apple, Sweet Pea and Cherry Blossom. It cleans well without leaving a sticky or heavy residue like some hand soaps can. It doesn’t leave my hands dry at all. I can use this many times during the day and not worry about overdrying my skin due to washing too much. Needless to say, I’ll be picking up more of these in the next few days since I am down to just one backup bottle under my sink (I checked recently).

  • Bath & Body Works Triple Moisture Body Cream

At 8 oz / 226 g, this retails for $12.50 at Bath & Body Works stores and online. It goes on sale from time to time and you can score this for less with coupons they send out occasionally. It’s a good buy especially when they have their semi-annual sales. That’s when I stock up on these! The whole squeeze tube container lasted me for about 3 months. The scent I'm reviewing here is Velvet Tuberose. The back of the tube reads the following: “Night-blooming white tuberose, diamond orchids and seductive cashmere mush caress skin like velvet. Elegant. Rare. Glamorous. For Daily Beauty: Smooth over skin, focusing on dry spots like elbows, heels and knees. Naturally Pampering Ingredients: Nourishing Avocado Oil, Smoothing Fruit Enzymes, Conditioning Calendula & Almond Oils” Verdict? I love it. I normally don’t go for muskier scents, but this one gets my vote. Being that this is a body cream instead of just a body lotion, a little goes a long way. The scent lasts much longer too. I always get compliments when using this product. For the price, this luxurious treat is worth it for you to pamper your skin with. If you get this on sale or with their coupons, it sweetens the deal. They also have various other scents available to choose from in case this scent is not right up your alley.

  • Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Volumizing Shampoo

At 12 fl oz / 355 ml, $3 isn’t too bad for the amount you’re getting. I’m not sure if this line is still currently in production with Bath & Body Works, but I see some bottles of these in the last semi-annual sale. Not sure if they were leftovers or what. The scent up for review is Warm Vanilla Sugar. I know for sure it also comes in Mango Mandarin, but I can’t remember the rest. It comes in a typical flip top plastic bottle. The front text reads “for fine or normal hair”. The back of the container reads the following: “Experience the seductive fragrance of vanilla steeped in delicious spices. For Daily Beauty: To add luxurious body and volume to fine or normal hair, massage this gently cleansing shampoo into wet hair. While you lather, weightless moisturizers restore hair’s healthy balance. Rinse thoroughly to reveal hair that is full, radiant and manageable. Follow with warm vanilla sugar volumizing conditioner for ultimate shine and fullness." Verdict? I like it, but I’ll pass. It smells great if you like the smell of baked goods. I know some people that absolutely hates bath and body products smelling like food items. It does an okay job as a shampoo, although I don’t feel that it cleans very well after a while of consistent use. I needed to use a clarifying shampoo to remove the build up after a while. This is based completely on my experience with various shampoos I’ve used over the years. I do prefer the scent Mango Mandarin better, so I’ll stick to that one instead if I spot these on sale again this year for $3.

After shampooing, squeeze excess water from hair and massage in conditioner, starting at the ends and working up towards the scalp. Formulated to detangle, defrizz and help protect from the elements, this conditioner rinses cleanly away to ensure hair is not weighed down. For maximum body and volume, first wash hair with warm vanilla sugar volumizing shampoo." Verdict? I like it, but I’ll pass. It smells great if you like the smell of baked goods. I know some people that absolutely hates bath and body products smelling like food items. Conditioner works as expected, but not as well compared to many others I’ve tried. I feel that it does weigh my hair down a bit when using it. This is based completely on my experience with various shampoos I’ve used over the years. I do prefer the scent Mango Mandarin better, so I’ll stick to that one instead if I spot these on sale again this year for $3.

  • Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Body Lotion

The scent I have obsessively stocked up to use is Butterfly Flower. I can't say enough about this scent - it's my absolute favorite. I am sad that they are phasing it out and I can only catch it in their semi-annual sales. At 8 fl oz / 236 ml, this retailed for $10.50 at Bath & Body Works stores and online last I checked. It goes on sale from time to time and you can score this for less with coupons they send out occasionally. It’s a good buy especially when they have their semi-annual sales. That’s when I stock up on these! The whole bottle lasted me for about 3 months. The back of the bottle reads the following: “Our Signature Body Lotion just got better. Fortified with Aloe Vera, Grape Seed Extract and vitamins C and E, it glides on easily and evenly to condition and hydrate skin. This non-greasy, sheer formula absorbs quickly to leave skin soft, smooth, and beautifully fragrant. Smooth over body to moisturize and lightly fragrance skin with our exclusive Butterfly Flower, a vibrant fragrance inspired by the natural elegance and playful femininity of a butterfly garden in full bloom.” Verdict? I love this product a lot. It smells great and moisturizes really well for Spring into Fall. I would switch over to their body butter of the same scent for Winter. A little goes a long way and the scent lasts for hours. I use the body spray in the same scent as well. While it’s pricier than other brands of body lotions you can find in various grocery or drugstores, it’s a nice luxurious treat for your skin. And again, when you get this on sale or with their coupons it’s actually worth it. The sad thing about this is I *think* this scent has been discontinued, which I am very sad about. But there’s always body lotions of various other scents to choose from.

  • Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Daily High Lather Scrub

I have tried this product in Black Raspberry Vanilla scent and Mango Mandarin. Scent is simply divine. I do prefer the mango one among the 2 I tried. The description on the back of the tube states: “For Daily Beauty: This foaming body scrub expertly exfoliates to reveal after, smoother skin but is gentle enough to use everyday. Massage into skin for abundant lather and beautiful fragrance. Rinse well. Naturally Pampering Ingredients: Sunflower Seed Oil to soften skin, Jojoba Seed Oil for a healthier skin tone, and Carrageenan (Seaweed) to moisturize.” Verdict? Good buy. The tube lasted me quite a while. It is decently sized at a little over 8 fl oz / 250 ml. I didn’t feel the need to use this body scrub everyday. If you have sensitive skin, once a week might be the frequency suggested to be used with this product. I didn’t find it too abrasive for my skin to use every other day or so. Everyday might be a little too much for me. The formula for this is not as thick as I thought it would be. It is quite creamy with some grittiness for the scrubbing property. I didn’t find the need to apply lotion after using this in the shower, as this leaves my skin quite moisturized. Make sure you rinse well though, as the scrubby bits tend to stick to the skin more than you think it would.

  • Avon ANEW Solar Advance Sunscreen Face Lotion SPF 45

The facial moisturizer comes in a sleek golden-yellow squeeze bottle container and is packed in a golden box. The back of the box has a full description and the following directions: "Apply liberally and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply as needed or after towel drying, swimming or perspiring. Children under 6 months of age: ask a doctor." What I love about this product? It has a higher SPF than my previous facial moisturizer. The tube packaging it comes in is easy to use and carry. I can slip it easily into my purse and it doesn’t shatter when I drop it (which happened several times). It stays true to the description on the box stating that it’s lightweight, non-greasy and doesn’t leave a white residue. The product is a bit thicker than a lot of facial moisturizers I have used and will feel slightly greasy at first, but it dissolves right onto my face and it doesn’t feel greasy at all after that. I have used this product for 4 weeks now and noticed that my face doesn’t get as dark as it usually does in the same amount of time. The added SPF does make a difference in my experience. Removal is also easy. I just wash my face with my usual facial wash and it comes right off. What I don’t like about this product? Not much to complain here really. For almost 3 oz of product and a $34 price tag, this is in the median range for a good facial moisturizer. Where to get it might be the problem for some since this is not sold in retail or drugstores. But I’m sure you can always track down a local AVON store or AVON lady by you.

  • Aussie Moist 3 Minute Miracle Deeeeep Conditioner

At 236 ml / 8 fl oz for the full size, this retails for $4.29 at CVS and is similarly priced at various retail and drugstores. It goes on sale from time to time and combined with coupons from your weekly Sunday paper or through tearpads in the store, this can essentially comes close to being free. The whole squeeze tube bottle lasted me for almost 4 months. I don’t use this everyday, maybe about once a week. With my long hair, that’s pretty good. The front text reads “deeeeep conditioner” and “Deeep conditioning for damaged do’s”. Verdict? I love it. This does the trick in providing the deep conditioning my hair needs about every week. My hair feels so soft and so smooth after using this product. No tangles at all, which I love. The scent is coconut in nature. Take note of that in case you are not a coconut scent fan. A little goes a long way, so this can easily last you past 4 months if you have hair shorter than mine (mine is up to the middle of my back). I find that my roots don’t need much of it, so I start application from the tips working my way up to the scalp.

  • Aussie Aussome Volume Shampoo

At almost 14 fl oz / 400 ml for the full size, this retails for $3.99 at CVS and is similarly priced at various retail and drugstores. It goes on sale from time to time and combined with coupons from your weekly Sunday paper or through tearpads in the store, this can essentially comes close to being free. The whole bottles lasted me for a little over 2 months and with my past shoulder length hair, that’s pretty good. The front text reads “boosts hair that’s fallen flat” and “lightweight conditioning to fight droopy do’s”. The back of the bottle states the following: “Oomph up your do in a flash! Accented with White Ginger this shampoo gets you ready for great volume.” Verdict? Awesome shampoo in a sturdy, purple bottle? Almost a definite WIN for me! It is reasonably priced, very accessible (available just about everywhere shampoo and conditioner is sold) and smells great. It’s hard to describe the scent, but I would say it’s citrus-y more than anything else. Shampoo leaves hair squeaky clean. I can’t vouch for the volume claim though. I was hoping it’d give me more volume than what I got, but a good buy for the price and quality overall. I was sad the day I found this bottle empty. Good thing I have another bottle stocked up.
