Takes time and patience, but made a huge difference
The skinny: it took a while, but my hair came out frizz-free, shiny and healthy I'm an African-American woman of mixed heritage with extremely thick, type 3C curly hair that frizzes easily. I've tried relaxers in the past, but hated the damage to my hair and scalp, and so I now have completely natural hair. I wear it straightened in the winter, but it frizzes at the least sign of moisture. At less than $15 at the drugstore, I figured I had nothing to lose. The instructions aren't difficult, but they are a bit difficult to find (they're on the bottle of keratin treatment). The leave-in treatment makes your hair feel kind of gross after blow-drying, but it's mostly absorbed after flat-ironing your hair. The flat-ironing takes time and patience, since you have to work with small pieces and iron each one 7-10 times. My hair was beautiful when I was done, although it still felt a little coated. After washing my hair two days later, I was thrilled--about 50% of the frizz was gone, and my hair stayed straight even in high humidity! The anti-frizz effects are also evident when I let my hair dry naturally--I have more curls and less frizz. It's been about 5 weeks, and since I only wash my hair 1-2x/week, the therapy is still working. I will definitely try this product again, and would recommend it to anyone with frizzy, unmanageable hair.

Amazing straight and non-frizzy hair
I'm African-American with type 3C hair. I do an at-home Brazilian keratin treatment every 3-4 months, but otherwise my hair is natural. I blow-dry and flat-iron during the colder months, and 3-day Straight makes my hair soft, silky and straight. Note: I use a lot more product than recommended, since I have really thick hair, but it works great. Granted, nothing is strong enough to unfrizz my hair on humid summer days, but this is cheap and gets the job done during the rest of the year.

Great for my 3A curly/kinky hair
I've been using this product for about 2 weeks now and my hair looks amazing! I alternate between blowdrying and flatironing my hair, and wearing it naturally curly, and it looks great both ways! My hair is moisturized, much less frizzy and shiny. Note: I wash my hair only 1-2 times/week, so I've only used this about 3 or 4 times. One complaint: my hair feels clean, but this product does nothing for dandruff. So once a week, I "cheat" and use a regular dandruff shampoo, following by the cleansing conditioner.

Salon-smooth hair with a few drawbacks
I'm African-American with type 3A curly hair. I discovered at-home keratin treatments about 6 months ago, but this is my first time with Suave's system. The bottom line: my hair is smooth, unfrizzy and gorgeous. If anything, my hair came out too straight! The bad part: the smell! The system is easy to use, and doesn't require repeated flat ironing at high heat, but the part 1 treatment really smells! I'll make sure I open a window next time I use this. After rinsing and completing the other steps, your hair smells OK, but I found that the scent lingered in the house. There are a lot of negative reviews from people who experienced major hair loss after using this product. Read the instructions carefully before using, since the product doesn't react well with perms, relaxers, henna and certain dyes. My dyed hair is slightly lighter after this treatment, but feels healthy and silky.

Cheap, easy and covers my greys
I have a handful of dye-resistant white hairs that really stand out against my dark brown hair. I'd tried every brand on the market, and nothing worked on my grey (although they did once turn an interesting pink Colorado). Then I got a coupon for the new John Frieda Precision Foam and figured I'd give it a try. First, it really covers grey! Three weeks in, my hair is uniformly youthful again! It's easy to use, and my hair felt pretty healthy after using it This review would be a 10 if the following items were fixed: 1) Colors are limited. I understand that a few new colors have been added, but choice is still limited compared to other brands. The colors on the box are also misleading: my hair came out much darker than expected 2) Color is uniform all over with no tones or highlights. I liked Feria and similar brands because of the highlights, but for grey coverage I can live with a single color 3) This applies to all hair color: the tiny tube of conditioner does not last six weeks! Some of us have thick dry hair that needs more than a dollop
