    GoSMILE Lip Treatment

    another bad choice

this goes on pretty well, but it didn't make my lips any softer. basically it made the chapped areas of my lips shiny, but still chapped. when it wore off my lips felt super dry and i had to use aquaphor to make it feel comfortable. it smelled a little bit like plastic. i liked the packaging and the mirror is great, but i threw the thing away after a few applications b/c i was so frustrated with how bad the balm was.

  • CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Waterproof Mascara

definitely not a dramatic difference. there are other mascaras that make my lashes look thicker. length i get is comparable to other mascaras. gives me more of a natural lash look than other mascaras, so it's good for everyday use. better than most mascaras at not giving me racoon eye, so that's nice. handle is so clunky and the bristles are so short that it is a little bit awkward to apply. i would definitely buy again, but it won't be my only mascara.

  • Aveeno Nourish + Moisturize Conditioner

i have a horrible dry scalp. nearly every shampoo and conditioner leaves it SUPER dry and flaky. i've been searching for yeeeears for products (shampoos and conditioners) that solve this embarrassing problem. i've found a couple that keep it to a minimum, but this is the first product EVER that has seemed to cure it completely. it's a miracle! and a CHEAP miracle! it leaves my hair super soft and nicely scented throughout the day.

  • Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover

i was trying to find something cheaper than clinique and this one looked promising. dual layer and all. i used it just like i use clinique's eye make up remover. it didn't take off a SPECK of my waterproof mascara. (i tried it with 2 different brands of mascara.) i resoaked and tried to leave it on my lashes longer. not only did it still not remove ANY mascara, it didn't even penetrate enough to get rid of the curl in my lashes! my lashes straighten even when i put plain water on it. i'm definitely sticking with clinique from now on!

  • Nivea Eye Make-up Remover

    Nivea Eye Make-up Remover

not sure why it doesn't work for me...

i guess it removes my eye shadow and liner ok, but so does just using face wash. i need eye make up remover specifically for my waterproof mascaras, and this stuff removed VERY little (if any at all). not sure how long i have to leave it on to sink in, but i had it on for at least 15 seconds and it didn't dissolve the mascara. plus, sitting around with my eyes closed with gook all over it for that long is annoying. will stick to the MUCH better clinique eye make up remover.

  • Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15
    10.0

Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15

one of few SPF lotions i like

most SPF face lotions don't work on me, not sure why. either leaves my skin too dry, gives me a gray pallor, makes my make up cake... i finally found one i like and will stick with! very moisturizing. makes my skin feel dewy, but not greasy. doesn't whiten my skin. my natural color shows through! make up goes on smoothly, not flaky or cakey. still trying to find a lotion with a physical blocker instead of a chemical blocker. but until there's one that doesn't give me ghost face, this is the one i'll be using.

  • Sephora Ultra-Shine Lip Gloss
    9.0

    Sephora Ultra-Shine Lip Gloss

nice alternative to more expensive brands

i was trying to find a cheaper version of my pink NARS gloss. i got #06, and it's not QUITE as nice as the NARS (less "glossy"/shiny, not as much pigment), but for such a big price difference it's worth it! they also give you a lot more gloss for the price, so it's an even better bargain. it does smell a lot better than the NARS gloss, so that's a plus. also, there's such a wide selection of colors, you're bound to find something you like.

  • Revlon Cream Blush
    5.0

    Revlon Cream Blush

    like the powder version better

i can't seem to get the hang of the cream blush. it's a nice color, but it's hard for me to put on where i want it in the amount i want it. i feel like it looks splotchy, too much in some areas, not enough in others. i have to keep rubbing and pull at my skin to try to fix it... too much work. i'd rather stick to powder blushes. much easier to apply and much more subtle.

  • CoverGirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers Lipgloss

this is a great gloss and at such a cheap price! i have the papaya and the lemon, and they smell yummy. nice shine, lips feel good, not too sticky... it's so cheap, everyone should try it at least once.

  • DDF Daily Protective Moisturizer SPF 15
    3.0

DDF Daily Protective Moisturizer SPF 15

really thick for only spf 15

it's really thick, which is odd for something with an spf of only 15. the texture makes it kind of harder to apply, you really have to rub it in. there's no fragrance, which is nice. my skin feels normal with it on, not too dry, not too greasy. it's just kinda "eh" for me. also, it contains parabens, which i'm trying to stay away from. i got a deluxe sample with a purchase, and i won't be purchasing the full size!
