Bliss Lemon + Sage Conditioning Rinse

    Not Really a Conditioner

I've tried both the shampoo and conditioner, and I have to say that while the shampoo is serviceable, the conditioner is not something I would use again. It is far too light for my dry/wavy hair. While I do not find the general smell to be offensive, it would not be a reason for me to buy it either. In general, after using this conditioner in combination with other hair products that I normally use, I find that I have more frizz than usual, and my hair is harder to comb. In all, it is not something that I would buy again, even if it was far less expensive.

  • Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash

    Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash

    Good, but Maybe Overpriced

This facewash is interesting, because it has very fine particles in it to exfoliate the skin. The particles are barely noticeable, but seem to be fairly effective if you are looking for gentle exfoliation. The one thing that I do not like is that this product does not foam as much as I would expect given that "foaming" appears in the title. However, as someone with oily skin, I find that washing with this product leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped. I am not sure, however, that it would be a good match for someone with dry skin, or sensitive skin. Overall, I believe that there are other face washes out there that do a comparable job for less money.

Bliss Lemon + Sage Body Butter

    Super Fresh Fragrance

This body butter has a very nice lemony scent that is light and refreshing. Overall, the product moisturizes well, and leaves skin quite silky. This product is a nice choice if you don't mind spending a little more.

  • Stella McCartney Stella

    Stella McCartney Stella

    Signature Fragrance

Stella is the type of fragrance that if it is for you, you know it from the first moment. Since fragrance is intensely personal, and tends to smell different when it reacts to individual body chemistry, it is hard to make overarching statements about it. However, when I wear it, I think it smells sort of deep and mysterious. I attribute this to the rose absolut and the amber. It really does smell very womanly, and sexy. This is one of the only perfumes that I ever wear that illicits inquiries from men as to what it is called, often because they would like to buy it for their own girlfriend or wife. It is not, however, for those people who love their scents to be soapy, super citrus-y, or lightly floral, and is also something I associate with the fall and winter months over the summer ones. Though, that is really a personal opinion, as I like to wear lighter fragrances in the summer.

    So Bad is So Good

I have tried tons of mascaras within the past few years, and have consistently found that I have better luck with those that have traditional style brushes over plastic ones. To that end, Bad Gal Lash has a traditional brush, although it is so big it looks like it is on steroids. Surprisingly, however, the brush is easy to manipulate, and the volume and length that can be achieved is quite good. This is a great mascara if you are not going for a "natural" look.

    Kinerase Cream

    Intensive Hydrator

I very rarely use moisturizer because my face is usually oily. However, I have recently started having chemical peels, and was pointed to kinerase by my dermatologist. This cream is very hydrating, feels fairly silky, does not have a noticeable scent, and seems to be good on sensitive skin (from my experience). I have not experienced any issues with clogged pores and such, though I have had a friend say that she experienced them while using this cream. My advice would be that this cream is definitely something to think about it you have dry skin, but you might want to do more research before committing if your skin is oily or prone to acne.

    Short term amazement

This product is pretty amazing if you need a quick beauty pick me up. You can see a difference almost immediately. It has a silky texture, and works great under makeup. However, the results while amazing, are also temporary. This is not something to buy if you are expecting permanent results. If you are only looking for a temporary fix though, it is definately something to check out.

  • Ojon Hydrating Thickening Conditioner

I picked up a travel sized bottle of this at Sephora before heading abroad, and the best thing about it is that I didn't waste money on a full sized bottle. While the conditioner did seem to thicken my hair, it was not hydrating. Instead, my hair had that sort of coarse texture that it gets from coloring or being outside in the wind. In otherwords, exactly the opposite texture of what I want. Also, I found the smell of it to be weird. Not terrible, but certainly not something that I would purposefully choose.

  • Patricia Wexler M.D. Dermatology MMPi Skin Regenerating Serum

This product has a bright pink color, and an interesting sort of silky texture to it. It goes on smoothly, and does not leave a sticky or oily feeling on skin. While I only have a few wrinkles starting to show, this product has made a significant difference in how noticeable they are. I have been using a retinol product for the past year and a half, and I truely think that the combination of these two products has proved very effective. If you are on the fence about trying it, the last time I was at bath and body works, they had a sample kit that included all of her anti-aging line for $49.

  • Patricia Wexler M.D. Universal Anti-Aging Cleanser

I decided to try this cleanser because I am a total beauty junkie...What I liked about this cleanser was that my face never feels stripped after using it. However, one thing that I have had to get used to is that it does not foam. Being someone who likes foaming cleansers, this is a negative. Also, I have not noticed any difference in fine lines yet. If you are looking for a good general cleanser though, and don't mind it not foaming, then this is a nice choice.
