OMG! My hair is like satin with this!!!
Really. You have to try this stuff. It is not a flash-in-the-pan, trendy, over-hyped product. I have long straight hair and have been using glosses and frizz-fighters for as long as I can remember. I used to use the oldie but goodie Frizz-fighter everyone knows from the drug store. I was happy. Until I tried this stuff out. Now I'm thrilled!!! No fly-aways. Ever. Not all day long. This doesn't make your hair greasy, either. Just use a really small amount. I use one just-smaller-than-a-dime size dallop for my really long hair and it's perfect. Get satiny hair with this amazing product!!!

If I could give these more than 10 stars I totally would!
If I could give these more than 10 stars I totally would! I heart my mini Tweezerman Slant Tweezers so much! I have them in hot pink and I urge you to get the set with the carrying case because it really helps protect the tips. I have had my Tweezermans for over three years and think I'll have them forever more! Carefully clean the tweezers with rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad after use and they'll always be super-clean and sanitary. I love that I don't need to have more than one set of tweezers now to groom my brows- I only need this little guy! I couldn't be happier with this SUPER product!!!

Not the best...but pretty great!
I'm happy with this mineral powder. First of all, I'm super-happy each time I put it on because you get the greatest wake me up cooling sensation. It's not tingly, just cooling. I like how my skin looks matte but not papery after applicaiton. I've found applying the powder with an acutal foundation brush gives me the best coverage. Who knew yellow powder would become a daily thing for me???!!! :)

The BEST Shampoo for my Hilights!
I really love this hilight-enhancing shampoo for blondes from John Frieda! I've tried around five other brands of blonde enhancing shampoos and finally settled on using this brand for my daily use. I love how it smells and it really works up a great lather easily. The price is great and it really does bring my hilights (natural and chemical) out! If you're a blonde you should definately try this!

Really soothing but the smell & taste is off...
I so wanted to love this. I mean it's a Burt's Bees lip product, right? It's just as moisturizing as the other Burt's Bees lip balms you've grown to love but the pomegranate smell and taste is just a little off! This does last longer than other lip balms I've tried and the price is right. If you're thinking about trying this I'd smell the package first and see if it's something you like.

What a great collection!
Okay. I'm an OPI-lover anyway, but I'm particularly impressed with this collection. As a whole, what I appreciate in the collection is that there are such a variety of colors soft golds to hot-hot-HOT pinks, and still it all works together so well! You can wear any of the colors on toes and hands and stay coordinated. (Probably don't mix the pinks, though.) As always, OPI's 3-free formula delivers in application and wear...no streaks, hig-pigmentation and stays chip-free for at least a week (and I use my hands a lot). Try the sheer shimmery golden Moon Over Mumbai for hands that look sleek and polished at the office and fun and fancy at night (double-duty rocks!) and the super-Barbi pink Elephantastic Pink on toes for a now-looking pedi at the beach this summer. I grabbed almost the whole collection and am still finding I use a lot of these as go-to shades here in sunny San Diego!

NARS Blush Rocks!
Okay, I never really understood the power of blush until I found NARS Blush in Or**sm (this site won't let me post it's real name). I read about this "universally flattering" shade in a fashion magazine about 3 years ago and I've never used anything else. For me to re-buy a blush shade is a big deal...and I did it with this one! The blush ranges from pink to peach and has a bit of shimmer and when applied to the apples of my cheeks it gives me that flushed look that I'm after. When I wear it I don't look like I'm wearing blush... I just look like I would after I worked out for a bit... and have that great natural glow on my cheeks. If you're wondering what the hype is all about head to a NARS counter and just try this shade on. I swear you'll love it. I'm giving it (an imperfect) rating of 9 just because it's a splurge.

Quick, easy and effectifve at-home peel
First of all, I am not an Avon rep. Nor is anyone I personally know...but when I saw some other reviews on this and the great price tag for 30 pads. I have super-duper-sensitive skin...so harsh and abrasive products are really too much for me. I've tried a few other peel kits and they were just too strong. This one is strong enough that I see results, but gentle enough for me to use every other day and not turn bright red. I love how easy these pads are...just keep it by the sink and pull out a pad. You rub the textured side all over your face. It tingles a bit but doesn't burn. I use mine at night and use tons of SPF the next day so I'm not too exposed to the suns rays. I've found my pores appear smaller, my skin is more evenly textured and colored and I'm getting fewer blemishes. I also think the fine crow's feet I've started to get are diminishing around my eyes. Oh! One trick I've learned is to use the other side of the pad on the backs of my hands where I have a lot of age spots, etc. Then I put my hand cream on for the night. I'm noticing big results there and my hands are looking younger and the age spots are fading! Great bonus!

Always in my bag (and in my desk drawer, and by my nightstand, in my glovebox...)
This cult classic lip balm from the established Kiehl's is never far from my fingertips. I swear by this stuff. I was introduced to Lip Balm #1 by a very glamorous friend of mine when I was in my early twenties. She was from New York City and I didn't think there was a more beautiful girl in the world...she constantly whipped this out of her Birkin Bag and applied the stuff. I thought it was so cool and I had to have one (or twenty)! I realized I couldn't get Kiehl's in lowly Oklahoma (where I was living at the thime) and begged a cousin of mine in NYC to mail some to me. I felt so cool as I whipped this out of my (un-Birkin) bag...but in the end I realized it just plain worked! My lips are smooth, it is a bit "greasy" feeling, but it works. It doesn't leave residue on cups or mugs and adds that perfect sheen to your lips. I apply it every night before bed and wake up with a perfectly smooth pout. The only downfall to this is the tube. I don't like putting my finger on it's tip all of the time...so I just replace it regularly.

Getting a bad wrap here...these are great!
I don't understand the glum lot talking bad about these shadows. I have a pallete and a couple of single pots that I didn't like putting the bucks up for at first, but after using I'm so happy they come this way. For instance...I really use the shade "Kitten" a lot. (every day!!! a lot!!!) I love having it in its own pot so I can easily toss it in my bag for touch-ups without having to carry a whole pallete around! Also, it's Earth-friendly not to have a makeup pots that aren't refillable. Plus, the high-quality of the packaging you purchase makes it worth-while...anyway...if you don't want to spring for the permanent pans you can always keep them in the plastic and feel good for not wasting a lot of packaging! Now on to the shadow itself. I always wear a shadow primer. The Stila one is GREAT!!!, but I've tried other brands with the shadow...and it doesn't fall off or crease on me at all (while other shadows do!). Stila has unique colors in matte and shimmers that are neutral with a kick. The shade "Kitten" that I speak of has a cult following. You must check it out on your next Sephora visit. It's the BEST highlighter I've found. I use it on brow bones and on inner-eye crevise that's always so dark on me...Kitten brightens my face right up!!! I also like that Stila prepares custom-palletes for you..,.or trusts you to create and discover your own trios or quads. Great shadow. Gets a nine...only due to high-cost. :)
