I bought this primer thinking it would work great because Bare Escentuals makes great mineral makeup. But I was disappointed. It did not make my skin look smoother after applying it under my mineral powder makeup. On top of that, it did not last. I'd say it lasted 3-4 hours at best. I have yet to finish the bottle, but I've already switched back to Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. Though it is a little more expensive than Prime Time, its worth it. I'd even suggest Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Luminzing Face Primer over this. Both Smashbox and Sally Hansen last longer than Prime Time.

Great drugstore primer
I really like this primer. It creates a flawless canvas for makeup. I wear mineral powder foundation over it. My skin is normal/dry, and this doesn't make my skin feel dry or greasy. It also lasts through most of the day. The "pearly" appearance does not make your skin look glittery or shimmery. Those who say it is too glittery probably did not blend it thoroughly or used too much of it. If you are on a budget, this primer is a good buy. The only thing I do not like about this primer is that after a while, it seems to seperate in the bottle. When you pump it out, it comes out watery. When you open the bottle, you notice that the thicker stuff in the primer isn't making it through the pump applicator. I sometimes have to stir it up a bit so the texture is more consistent. I think this could easily be fixed if they improved upon the pump. Seems the tube and opening that it goes through is too small.

Best pencil eyeliner
I have 3 of these 24/7 Glide-On eye pencils: Baked, Stash and Zero. They are very high-pigmented and applying it is easy; it glides on smooth with no tugging. They also last a long time. However, it seemed that Zero (black) doesn't last as long as the other two that I have. Because of this, I've switched to liquid eye liner if I want black liner. But for all the other colors, I'm sticking wth this eye liner!

Will buy again :)
I purchased the bronze color of this cream eyeshadow and am pleased with it so far. The color isn't as intense as it appears in the container, but you can build up the color. I usually shy away from cream/liquid eye shadows because they tend to crease, but I haven't had this problem with this product. If you use a dab on each eye and blend it, it leaves a light wash of sparkly color on your eye lids, almost like a highlighter, and still shows thru a bit with a medium/dark matte eyeshadow over it. I plan to buy several more in different colors.

Simply Amazing Mascara!
I'm very impressed with this mascara. I purchased the waterproof kind, because I like to be ready in any situation. The mascara wand on this Volume Couture mascara works very well--overall it is narrow, but still provides a lot of coverage, and is perfect for reaching the shorter lashes on the inner corners of your eyes. The mascara does not clump, and I don't have to use a lash comb. I wear contact lenses too, and this mascara doesn't irritate my eyes like others I've tried. I highly recommend this product!

Nice eye shadow palette for everyday
I just recently bought the Corazon Del Mar palette. The 3 colors in the palette (left to right) are (1) Night Orchid (2) Corazon Del Mar and (3) Amman Black Tea. The Night Orchid is a nice highlighter and has a hint of shimmer. Corazon Del Mar is a interesting blue with gold undertones. Amman Black Tea is a pretty taupe/cool brown. The colors are not very pigmented, which was somewhat of a disappointment, but certainly better than drugstore brand eye shadows. Atleast that way you can just add more if you want it to look more intense. The brush that comes with it is not a very good eye shadow brush. Maybe its ok for touch-ups, but that's about it. The compact is small, which is a good thing for taking it with you. The only downside that would make me think about buying it again or other palettes is the price. $32 is pretty steep. If they priced it under $30 it would be much more enticing.

Results can vary depending on your skintype, ethnicity, lifestyle, etc
I have been using this product for about six months now, and I cannot say it's really doing its job. I am asian, and like many other women of color, our skin reacts differently to different products compared to fair-skinned caucasian women. For example, acne scars don't fade half as fast as on fair complexions, and we generally are more prone to hyperpigmentation/sunspots. I take birth control pills, which has contributed to some spots, but I also wear sunscreen everyday and limit my sun exposure. I apply decent amounts to my sunspots at night(before applying any creams/lotions to my face), and I don't notice much if any lightening. If anything it keeps them from getting darker, but that's about it. In certain spots it actually lightens the skin around my sunspot. I also have sensitive skin so it stung, almost felt like burning. I just try to deal with it since it is, after all, hydroquinone. Once I put on some moisturizer, then it's all good. I will continue to use it, even though I don't think it's very effective. The fact that it keeps my spots from darkening is still enough incentive.

Truly high-quality loose powder, very natural-looking coverage
I first read about this product in a magazine review, I think it was either InStyle or Allure. I decided to check it out. I went to the Shu Uemura store on Fillmore Street in San Francisco. First, I have to say the store was beautiful and the staff extremely helpful. Anyway, the loose powder, though a little pricey, is great. I have sensitive/dry skin, so certain powders can look cakey/flaky on my skin. This does not. It feels very light and the finish is natural-looking. I don't recommend this alone if you are trying to cover up blemishes (but most loose powders don't hide blemishes on their own), however if you combine it with primer, some pressed powder and this on top, it will even out your skin tone. The $30-something price tag may shock some, but it has lasted a long, long time. Well worth the investment.

a modest enhancement to my lashes, but extremely comfortable!
I wear contact lenses, so it's difficult to find a mascara that doesn't irritate my eyes in some way. This mascara is very good for those with sensitive eyes. While I don't think its the best lengthening or volumizing mascara, it does do a decent job. I can just apply a second coat if I want it to be thicker. I like that it doesn't smudge and lasts through most of the day. I really like this product.

A lipgloss that really does last a long time
I've always liked using lipglosses, usually over lipstick. But this L'Oreal Infallible lipgloss has good coverage that I don't need to wear lipstick underneath or apply multiple coats. While it is a little sticky at first, it definitely lasts a long time--and doesn't transfer onto my coffee mug as much. I have Fiery and Sangria. They work really well for my medium/olive complexion. I want to try all the colors, it's one of my new favorites!!
