NYX Cosmetics NYX Black Label Lipstick

Love these lippies!

The NYX Black Label Lipsticks are great, moisturizing with good pigmentation and no offensive smell or taste. There is a faint fruity scent, but it's very light and disappears quickly after application. The plastic packaging is reasonably solid and good looking. I purchased 2 colors: Dusty Rose, a sort of matte medium pink, and Dream of Africa, a shimmery copper. Dusty Rose is more versatile, but I like both colors. The lasting power is about average for a lipstick. The Black Label product is substantially more pricey than the NYX Round Lipstick, but I like the extra moisturizing properties and the fancier packaging. At $7 a pop, I'll happily purchase more colors.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30

Way too heavily perfumed

I bought this Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer because I wanted to try a moisturizer with higher than 15 SPF, and this was the only product at the drugstore that fit the bill. The formula feels alright on the skin, leaving no white cast or noticeable greasiness. What I could not tolerate, however, was the strong, perfumey scent. Maybe Aveeno wanted to cover up any typical sunscreen smell, but in my opinion, they went way overboard. I don't like to use heavily scented body lotions, let alone heavily scented facial creams. If it weren't for the fragrance, I would be willing to use this product regularly. As is, I'll only use it occasionally on my hands.
