Arbonne NutriMinC RE9 Release Deep Pore Cleansing Masque

Feels great, works fairly well

The Arbonne NutriMinC RE9 line is wonderful. This Deep Pore Cleansing Masque may not be the best product in the line, but it feels luxurious and works reasonably well as long as you don't expect miracles. I have sensitive skin and, unlike some other reviewers, I didn't find it too harsh.

Arbonne About Face Prep and Plump

Plump, smooth lips, a little shimmer

Like the other reviewer, I was surprised at what seemed like a small amount of product. However, both the "prep" and the "plump" parts of the product are applied thinly with sponge wands, and a little goes a long way! The "prep" side can be used alone to make your lips smooth and silky. It's terrific and is completely invisible a minute or so after being applied. The "plump" side is a plumping sheer lip color with a bit of shimmer (not so much that I can't wear it on my 54-year-old lips). Sheer doesn't mean light - the Saucy shade is a delicious, deep berry. Great stuff!

Arbonne About Face Line Defiance Liquid Foundation

Like Chanel Teint Naturel foundation.... without the steep price tag!

This is a luxurious liquid foundation that reminds me of the wonderful Chanel Teint Naturel at a more affordable price. It goes on creamy-smooth and silky, provides good coverage without looking heavy, and has a lovely, natural, slightly dewy finish. It leaves my skin feeling soft rather than dry, and it lasts beautifully if used over Arbonne's excellent primer. I like having SPF built into the foundation, although I recommend applying a moisturizer with SPF first as well for best protection. Highly recommended.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum

Sheer, non-greasy, superb protection

My fair skin is extremely sensitive to most broad-spectrum UVA-UVB sunblock ingredients, so I was thrilled to discover Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF 30 sunblock. (I've written a separate review of the SPF 55 product, which is a bit different). I was thrilled to find a broad-spectrum sunblock with Helioplex at an affordable price. (Helioplex is Neutrogena's name for a relatively new, long-lasting, broad-spectrum sun protection ingredient that was introduced originally in the Anthelios product line from La Roche-Posay, which is superb also but is pricier and harder to find.) It's sheer and non-greasy, as its name promises, so you don't look as though you have anything on your skin, but YOU know you've got great sun protection. Fabulous product!
