I love the Pacifica brand and was excited to try out their body wash, but I was rather disappointed by it. The fragrance was really faint--I was looking for a more aromatic shower experience. I also found it a little too low-lathering. I understand that it doesn't have harsh bubble-producing detergents, which is good for my skin, but I still like a little lather on my loofah. At least it was an effective cleanser and didn't dry my skin. I may give some of the other fragrances a try (I used the Malibu Lemon Blossom), but for the price, I expected more fragrance in the product.

I had never tried a cleansing oil before, so I was a little skeptical, but I loved this product! I was having a nasty bout of dry skin (unusual for me) after a round-trip flight to Europe, and this cleanser really helped balance my skin. I thought it would be heavy and greasy, but it smelled nice, felt refreshing, and rinsed clean without leaving a residue. I look forward to using this soothing cleanser all winter long.

I like the other verbena products in this line, but the conditioner had an underlying odor of skunk! It was so awful I couldn't continue to use it.

My husband has been using this product for a few years, and I recently borrowed some while we were on vacation. I loved it! It's a gel, but it has an awesome , almost creamy consistency. It glides on easily and a little goes a long way. It foams up satisfyingly but isn't at all drying. It was also strong enough to remove thick sunscreen residue. The fragrance is masculine of course, but I didn't mind it. Great product!

I'm always on the lookout for good vegan lip balms, so I was really excited to try this one by Tarte. The packaging is cute and clever, but the product itself is subpar. I found the exfoliator hard to use--I expected it to leave a layer of scrub on my lips, but it just kind of rubbed back and forth without leaving anything behind. I didn't notice that it had much of a softening effect. The balm was even more disappointing. It had a very waxy texture, and it didn't feel anywhere near moisturizing enough. I have had to apply it repeatedly before bed, and I still wake up in the night with uncomfortably parched lips. I apply it before I leave for work, and I have to use another balm as soon as I get to my desk. Not a fan.

This was the first Jurlique product I've ever tried, and I wasn't overly impressed. The texture of the product was OK--it was creamy and felt moisturizing when it was applied, but it didn't seem to absorb into the skin as easily as some creams, and it wasn't as thick as I would have liked. However, I didn't care for the scent. It had an old-lady-ish herbal fragrance that I didn't enjoy. I didn't feel like it was deeply moisturizing or had long-lasting effects: my eye area felt dry later in the day. Overall it wasn't bad, and I will probably use up the rest of the tube, but I'll probably keep looking for something I like better.

This is one of my favorite highlighters. It's a flattering color, applies easily with a small brush, and blends easily. Works great with the other Bare Minerals products. I use it on my cheekbones, inner corners of the eyes, and under the brow arches. A container lasts a really long time, so it's a good value.

I love using this on days when I want to wear minimal makeup. I just apply this over tinted moisturizer and a little gel blush. It's easy to apply, blends easily, and looks very natural. The color is lovely, and it has a very flattering hint of shimmer.

When I saw how oily this sunscreen was, I didn't think I would like it. However, it was really easy to apply without a lot of rubbing, and it didn't get sticky like most of the lotions I've tried. It probably wouldn't be great to use every day because it would get on your clothes, but for the beach or pool, it worked great.

This moisturizer smells great, but it wasn't quite potent enough for me. It spread easily and absorbed quickly, but I found that it wasn't moisturizing enough. My skin felt dry shortly after applying it. I have combination skin, and while the oil-free gel might work during the summer, it definitely wouldn't be enough for me in the dry winter months. It might work for someone with oily skin, but it wasn't for me.
