i LOVE these make-up remover wipes. my night-time routine is nowhere near as thorough (and time-consuming) as my morning routine - at the end of the day, i just want to quickly clean my face and jump into bed. these wipes are the perfect solution - quickly removes all makeup (even stubborn mascara) thoroughly but best of all, it doesn't leave my skin dry and tight like all the other wipes. super for sensitive skin!

doesn't lather as much as i like, doesn't seem to smooth away frizzies and fly-aways as much as other anti-frizz shampoos. okay scent. i'd rather use other drugstore brands out there...

i've been using this liquid eyeliner forever! i prefer the fine brush tip (e.g. to a marker-like felt tip) because it allows me to create a line as thin or as thick/dramatic as i want. it does require some steady hands! but once on, it wears really well - no flaking or fading. perfect for a dramatic cat-eye!

love this creme - smooths away the frizzy flyaways that resist my blowdryer, and after a day out in the sf fog, a little bit touches up my hair and i'm ready for an evening out w/o spending a lot of time restyling.

super shiny but not sticky and a bit more color than your usual gloss. nice sweet scent/taste. a bit pricier than i usually spend on gloss or lipstick but a little goes a long way...

i use this blush in "fetish" which is a nice neutral rose shade; it has a slight shimmery sheen that makes your cheeks glow! application does require a light touch - don't overdo it!

i absolutely love LOVE LOVE this mascara - my favorite, even over pricier department store brands. i have long but very straight lashes and have never got the hang of using an eyelash curler. max factor manages to work miracles on my lashes with a very visibly noticable difference in lift, w/o clumping or flaking. i also like that this mascara, compared to other curling mascaras, manages to keep my lashes relatively soft and not overly stiff. unfortunately, not many places in the sf bay seem to carry this product - luckily i found it at ulta!

nice and lightweight so you don't feel like your pores are clogging or your t-zone's shining...but personally it feels a bit thin or watered-down, i actually prefer a creamier (but not necessarily greasier or heavier) moisturizer. this stuff just disappears when you rub it in and i can't help but wonder if it's just evaporating - i don't get that "soothing sinking in my skin" moisturizing feeling. and my cheeks still feel a bit dry...

i love how they have a photo guide for multiple ways of applying the eye shadow quads! very helpful for someone who never really learned how to "contour" and what not (like me). i only wish the color combos worked better - i picked this up in "time for wine" and the matte nude shade recommended for the lid makes no difference when i applied - invisible! the suggested color combos looks better in the palette than on my eyes =( but i can always customize to my own liking...

everyone keeps commenting on how universally flattering the shade "black honey" is, but it was just "meh" for me - nothing spectacular and i think burt's bees tinted lip shimmer could easily provide the same results at a fraction of the cost.
