  • L'Oreal Paris EverCurl Sculpt and Hold Cream Gel

This sounded better, in theory, than it performed in reality. I wanted to use less drying, healthier for the hair styling products and have had great results with some of the "Ever" line already but this one wasn't impressive and not worth its price. Its supposed to give you moisture with hold and not make the curls crunchy. No, it didn't make my hair crunchy and yes, it did give it good moisture but it didn't give me any hold at all. Also, my hair became frizzy retty fast and its not even humid weather so that's definitely a bad thing. The Garnier Fructis Curl Calm Down Cream works better and is also cheaper.

  • L'Oreal Paris Studio Secrets Magic Skin Beautifier B.B. Cream

I was so very disappointed in this product! First, I am super pale with mostly neutral undertones (both pink and yellow) and the fair shade turned oompa loompa orange on me within minutes! If that wasn't bad enough, it also irritated my sensitive skin. PLus, no SPF which is a pretty mandatory "add" for most products in this day and age. L'Oreal can certainly do much better than this product would lead you to believe! In all honesty, I would recommend most folks skip this one and try another type of BB cream.

  • Rimmel London Glam'Eyes HD Eyeshadow

    Hard to Get Into Corners

I agree with the prior reviewer on the difficulty of getting to the darker shades in the small corners of the package. I also bought English Rose (which goes really well with the new Scadal Eyes eye liner in Taupe, by the way LOL). The shades are all cool toned neutrals, with a pale pink highlighter shade and is perfect for day. The Union Jack design looks cool but I wish it was easier to get the shades out. The pigment isn't as good as highend but its not bad and the shadows last pretty long.

  • Rimmel London Match Perfect 3 Tone Blush

I've been hitting the jackpot lately with Rimmel. I am uber fair skinned. I need blush, but if you're fair, you know you can overdue it and working with your undertone isn't always easy. This product has 3 shades that you can blend together or use each individually. They're geared to be used by depth of skin color (light, medium, dark), and not undertone as the mix of shades matches all of them. I bought the lightest shade 001, and its worked for me very well. The blended shade is a great everyday, peachy-rose type of shade and the shades used seperately give me the option for going warm or cool. The lightest shade makes a good highlighter for the cheekbones too. This doesn't have the pigment depth that it could and I took one star off for that. I can work with it but darker skins may need to go one shade combo darker for more color payoff.

  • Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner

I bought these new eyeliners in shades Nude and Taupe, mostly because both shades are hard to find cheaply. I was honestly impressed with the lasting power of both. I use the Nude to line my waterline and make me look more awake (in the mornings, I need all the help I can get! LOL) and it works perfect for that, shade is equivilent to high ends ones. It also lasts a suprisingly long time on the waterline, which is difficult to find. The Taupe is a really gorgeous, neutral shade that blends out to a great smokey eye look for day time. Again, the product really lasts a surprisingly long time for a drug store eye liner. I will definitely buy more shades.

  • Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow Stick
    10.0

    Light Shades Are Multi-use

I bought the white and pale beige shades and not only do they make great long wearing eye base shades but they also work as highlighters on the rest of the face for lighter skin shades. The white works great in the corner of the eye for that "little extra sparkle" that makeup artists keep giving as a tip. You can also use it to line the bow on your top lip which is a great MUA tip I picked up recently. Both shades worked great as highlighters to hit the spots on the face where the light should catch, the cheekbone and under the brow bone. The product definitely stayed very well and I will be collecting more shades.

  • Burt's Bees Facial Towelettes with White Tea Extract

I've recently been having issues with makeup removers and makeup remover wipes making my eyes burn. I have allergies and it may be just worse lately or my eyes are getting more sensitive. With that in mind, I have been trying more natural products to see if they are less irritating. These wipes are gold and I am thrilled to find them. The package is the standard "peel open the front flap and grap a wipe" that we've all become familiar with. The formula is very natural and gentle and did not irriate my eyes, my skin or cause me any breakouts. It takes all my eye makeup off, although lots of eye makeup, or very dark eye makeup, may require some rubbing and possibly a 2nd wipe, which I can live with. The scent is very herbal and some may not like it, as its strong but I find it relaxing. Its also not drying to the skin and is great for lazy nights since you could get away with not using a moisturizer.

  • Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Night Cream

I really, really love the intense hydration product line. I started on the cleanser and the day cream and then added this product. I am 44 yrs old with combination, sensitive skin. I use this product over their repair serum with attar of roses and I literally wake up with skin that looks 10x better than when I went to sleep. No breakouts and no sensitivity. My skin literally glows and I need less makeup which speeds up my morning routine....gotta love that! Gotta love the compliments I keep getting too! LOL

  • Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Day Lotion

Oh, so much love for this product!! I am on my 2nd or 3rd jar now of this stuff and I love it as much, if not more, today then when I first started using it. I am 44 yrs old with sensitive, combination skin. In the winter my skin becomes very dehydrated, itchy and prone to bouts of sensitivity. Anything that is moisturizing enough to hydrate usually breaks me out. If it doesn't break me out, it dries out my skin and makes the sensitivity worse. Finding this product was a true skin changer! Its more than hydrating enough, has the delicious scent of the clary sage oil and doesn't break me out or irritate my skin. Used in combination with the BB repair serum with attar of roses and my skin glows! I carry a small travel jar with me and apply it to my cheeks, if they're itchy, or to prevent windburn.

  • Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser

I love this cleanser so much! First, I love the scent of the intense hydration products with the clary sage...so uplifting! This cleanser is thick and mixes nicely with water into a lather (not foam) that completely cleans the face, removes all makeup, without stripping the skin. In fact, my face feels in better condition after cleansing...so soft. This leaves no residue and doesn't block my pores either. A little goes a long way so the tube lasts a long time. I will continue to use and also highly recommend.
