I bought this in Blood Orange, which smells amazing. However, this product does have a weird texture to it and I think I figured out why. While the prior reviewer noted some of the ingredients, she didn't list that it has tapioca starch in the top ingredients. This is frequently used in powders and "liquid powders", especially in replace of talc. I think this is to give it that "I can get dressed quickly" feeling however, it just feels almost "sticky" (as other reviewers have noted) but not really greasy when first dried, very strange. I do find that once you begin to move around it kind of disappears but you definitely don't feel as moisturized as other Burt's products or other products in general. Now that I've figured it out, I think I will like this in the summer when its really humid out as tapioca helps to keep that fresh and clean feeling on the skin. Hopefully it'll keep me keep perspiration under control.

I am reviewing the shade duo "Beachy Keen" (which I believe is the one in the pic above as it looks like it). A bit about me- very pale (meaning lily white), combination skin, 44 yrs old. The one thing that makes me crazy with bronzers is that there are so few of them that are light enough for the very palest of us...you know, the folks who REALLY need a bronzer! LOL Flower only had one duo (they make 4 duo's- just FYI) that looked like it would work for me and that's the "beachy keen". The blush is a mostly peach toned shade with a hint of pink (very "nude" hint of pink). The bronzer seems to be "light neutral" toned with a hint of shimmer, just enough so its not flat on the skin. Both are fairly pigmented, at least for paperwhite skins, so you don't need a lot. I would say that this is Flower's version of the Nars blush/bronzer duo's. Thankfully, this bronzer is much lighter than Laguna, which is way too deep and yellow for my skin. I like this well enough although it could have better staying power, be a bit less "powdery" and they need more shade combo's that will work for the paler folk. All in all, a cool product for a decent price and I would buy it again.

Okay, you know when someone tells you that you have beautiful skin, and you have a cold, whatever you're using is really working. LOL I got several compliments on my skin during the cold and the only thing different was this makeup. It is sheer coverage but does the trick and doesn't cake up on reapplications, or into fine lines, which is a huge plus. I also have super sensitive skin and since using this instead of my old powder foundation, I no longer get itchy on my cheeks. It also feels really good on a sore nose from too much blowing and it did cover the redness too. My only complaint is that the packaging needs a lock so the powder doesn't spill into the lid area when you carry it with you. I'll continue to purchase it and highly recommend it!

For me, these cream shadows in the line are much more functional than the powder shadow quads (I don't use, or even like, all the shades in any of the 4 quads available). Wild Geranium is my fav- its a nude-rose/bronze and is probalby as close to a "nude" shade as the line makes. Vine of the Times is a really pretty Spring green, like new grass. While not super sheer, they're not over pigmented and you can build the intensity. They have excellent staying power (although not as good as Maybelline's Color Tattoo line) and work great as eye shadow bases too.

I was a bit disappointed in these quads. None of the shade collections had all the colors I want in a quad and I only ended up using maybe one or 2 shades in the 2 different quads I bought (Foxy Browns and Smoke and Mirrors). I will admit that I am not a big fan of totally matte shadows or super dark shadows and these quads contain both. I had to mix them to get what I was looking for and I am not into that as I really don't have the time. The quality is excellent, however and seems more high end. The staying power is excellent too. These might be for you, if you like the colors and textures.

Oh, this was such a find! I am uber pale (see a piece of copy paper LOL), so blush is my desert island product and I collect it like some collect shoes or lipsticks. I don't think there's a line in existance that I don't own a blush from, to be honest. This product comes in a small package but its filled mostly with the product so its a decent amount. Additionally, this has decent pigment so you don't need to use much. I bought Peach Blossom, which on my skin is pretty close to Nars "O" (which I can't spell out since the system said No (really?!!! LOL), and Forget Me Not, which is more of a nude-pink. Both are gorgeous and have great staying power.

I wasn't overly impressed with this product. I got the "regular" CG jumbo gloss balm in "Rose Twist" and the color inside is NOT the color indicated by the cap. I should have know as I had this same issue with the CG outlast lip stains which I just can't stand. This doesn't really have the moisture it should either. All in all, very disappointing...sigh.

I seem to always come back to this brand and formula for lipsticks. The formula is really great, especially for the price, and there are just so many shades! My personal favorites are : Rose & Shine, Smokey Rose and Blushed, as they're great natural shades in the "MLBB" type of category. My lips never get dried out and the colors wear for a decent amount of time, even though they're not specifically tagged as long wearing. I have no doubt I will continue to buy my favorites as well as find new shades to love as well.

I have found this lip stain to be pretty good, once you can find a color that works for you. As with all of the drug store felt tip marker types of lip stains, the colors are very different on than they appear on the outside of the product. This product lasted on my lips better than any other from the drugstore and the lip balm is really nice. Mine has not had the lip balm end break off as of yet (had it about a week). They need to work on the colors and the lasting ability since it still doesn't last as long as it should.

Okay, this one is not a keeper, at all. The product was very hard to blend and seemed to stick to my skin in clumpy patches. My skin is oily to combination and I'd just put on a moisturizer and a primer so this should not have happened. It didn't blur any imperfections and I sure didn't feel "photo ready". I washed it off pretty quickly and returned it to the store.
