Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo

    Icky, horrible, knotty hair

I wanted to like this product, since it's sulfate free and contains argon oil--but this product left little to be desired. The texture of the shampoo was extremely viscous (it was kinda gross looking, actually), and I needed a ridiculous amount of it to actually distribute it through my hair. (My hair is wavy and very thick.) When I rinsed the shampoo out, it left my hair in zillions of knots and tangles. The conditioner that complements this isn't very complimentary, either, because it did little to tame the horrible mess the shampoo created. I wish I hadn't wasted $8 on this ($16 if you count the conditioner, too!!). Just don't buy it.

  • Olay Night of Olay Firming Cream

I'm 20, about to be 21, so skin firming isn't exactly my first priority. The only reason why I bought this was because I suspected that my face was overproducing oil in an attempt to hydrate my face--and I think I was right! Ever since I started using this, my skin has been less shiny throughout the day, I've has fewer breakouts, and my skin has been deliciously soft. The only things I don't like about the cream is that I wake up with a VERY greasy face (fixed by washing first thing in the morning) and that the tub is so tiny for the price.

  • Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips

I'm really super lazy about putting on actual nail polish. I don't have the patience for it to dry. I ALWAYS smudge my nails on something, or get little bubbles to form on them, or I apply it too thickly so that it'll peel off when I shower. But these nail strips are awesome, you just put them on and they're supposed to last for seven days. I'm actually on day seven for the ones I applied, and so far there really has been minimal chipping. Granted, some of the sides are getting kinda peely, but it's the seventh day--WAY better than I expected. Okay, those were the pros. The cons of these strips are: the package only comes with 16 strips in weird sizes. They might fit some people, but I have to work to make them fit me. And 16 is such a weird number... why not just round it out to 20? At least I could get a second use from it then. And on the topic of using this twice, a package of this costs about the same as a bottle of nail polish, and I've seen the price of it go from $8-10.50. Though, honestly, other than the price matter, I would ONLY wear these if I had the chance. The color combos are ao cute and I constantly get compliments on them!

  • Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit

I tried this stuff a few times back in high school, and it made my face SO DRY. After the first application my skin felt uncomfortably tight, and the next day it was peeling. Normally I have pretty oily skin, but this stuff just destroyed ALL the oil my face produced. No amount of lotion helped, and I'd constantly have to reapply more moisturizer throughout the day. I would not recommend this product for my worst enemy.
