I SO wanted to LOVE this product! But unfortunately, I didn't! I was very surprised. I admit I was very interested in trying it just because it's from Carmindy and I love her and trust her advice. While this product does seem to smooth my face in how it feels, it turns out that hasn't really been a need of mine. My make-up, whether just pressed powder or foundation and powder, goes on and stays on the same as always. Sure, I notice it glides on smoother, but does that really matter if the look is the same? The luminizing part doesn't really show for me either. My skin really just looks the exact same when using this as when not using it. It's lovely, but just isn't worth buying for me; even though the price is very reasonable. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend it as a necessity.

After reading many of the reviews for this product I was a little scared to try it since I had already made the purchase. I found a shade that in the store, in the container, seemed to match. And I have dry skin. Well, I gave it a shot and applied a light layer. It was good! The color matched perfectly for me and I don't look washed out in any kind of light. It does smooth out the fine lines a little bit, but doesn't touch the deeper wrinkles in my forehead. I tread lightly with foundation with my dry skin as it sometimes causes me to get flakey. That problem persisted, but not as badly as with other foundations. I was able to operate the packaging easily and I like it. I do put a little pressed powder on top of this to take away the little bit of shine and help 'set' it. On days when I feel like I want a smoother, more 'made-up' look, this does the trick. It's a little heavier than I'd want for every day though. I probably won't buy this again, but I would recommend it. I'm just not much of a foundation person.

So I have straight hair that's relatively dry and doesn't get oily. I have a lot of tiny hairs that stick up off my head, even when I wear my hair down. I was amazed how this product worked the first time I tried it! I've been using it daily for about 10 days and I'm pretty happy with it! The tiny hairs lay right down after brushing this mascara-like want lightly over my strands. If I get too much product on, I just brush through my hair with a vent brush to break it up a bit. The packaging is very cool - I love the wand applicator. The formula and the scent are light. I'm not fond of the scent overall. But it doesn't last long. This is not a must-have hair product for me, but I would consider adding it to my stash if the budget allows. It's a convenient size to take along in your purse if needed as well. The 'hold' doesn't last all day for me, but I'm not one to touch-up on a regular work day. I'd apply more in the evening if going out. And it worked great when I wore my hair pulled back. I would say to go lightly when applying as you don't need much product before you get a slightly slicked look. I would recommend this product.

Like the coordinating cleansing foam, this moisturizer was no rescue to my dry skin. It's lightweight and smells great, but I often find myself adding more product after it 'dries'. I use two pumps for my face and two for my neck. That should be enough, but sometimes I'll still feel dry around my nose, mouth and forehead. My skin even flakes a bit too. I had to try this and for the price I was excited, but it left me high and dry. Bummer...was hoping for better from Garnier. I wouldn't recommend this product for someone with dry skin. There are much better moisturizers out there in the drug/discount stores.

Wow, I was surprised to see the high overall rating on this product. I have always had dry skin and this product is anything but a rescue from that. No way! The packaging is really nice and the product smells good and lathers. But, beyond that, it certainly doesn't moisturize! It cleans well and gets my make-up off, but there is no added moisture. I've gotten a more moisturizing clean from a product that doesn't claim to be ultra moisturizing. After washing with this my skin is VERY tight and almost itches if I don't get a moisturizer on ASAP. In my experience, a cleanser that lathers into a foam doesn't do much to moisturize. :(

I found a perfect eyeliner for me, finally! It goes on smooth with the intensity of a liquid, but with the control of a pencil. Just what I was looking for! I have this in Ebony Black. The smudger works beautifully and the built-in sharpener at the end is so convenient and works great. I also love that now that I've used some of the product, I can twist it down inside the tube to keep it safe when replacing the cap. This wears great on me, but I have dry skin. From other reviews, it sounds like if you have oily skin, it may run throughout the day. The only, tiny, issue is that it doesn't always come off perfectly with my facewash. But it's fine after I wash again in the morning. And I'm sure make-up remover would work too. I would recommend this product to anyone!

I purchased purple amethyst for brown eyes. After reading all the positive reviews I thought this would be a no-brainer. I do like this product. I'm not the most steady at lining with liquid yet, but I'm doing OK with this product. The color is good and goes on pretty easily with the fine point. Sometimes my line isn't very smooth and I don't know if it's the product/applicator or me. So, I'm not counting this product out. I think it delivers what it says it will. The color lasts for the most part, as far as I've noticed. I would recommend this product to someone looking to try liquid.

I was disappointed in this eyeliner. It was very hard, so it was hard to apply. I would try warming it up with my breath, but that wasn't enough. I liked the auto-sharpening, so the tip was always nice and ready to go, bu the product was too hard to apply to my lids. I couldn't get a nice smooth line. I wouldn't recommend this product. I purchased the plum color, which was nice, but again, if it was slightly softer and went on smoother, I would like it more. The pricepoint was fine and the packaging was great.

Wow, I could not believe the huge size of the tub this product is in! I found this online at the St. Ives website and had no idea who much I was going to get for less than $5 at Walmart. So it was a no-brainer to give this a try. I think it works fine as a nighttime moisturizer. It's nothing outstanding. I don't believe it has any anti-aging/anti-wrinkle powers as some have said. But for a basic moisturizer I think it fits the bill. And for the money, it's totally worth it. If they had it with an SPF I would probably try that for daytime. However, the large scale tub makes travelling with it a bit of a pain, but I think I'll put some in a small plastic container when the time comes to travel. I would recommend this product as a basic - no frills - moisturizer. I am curious if the ingredients are identical to their Collagen Elastin body lotion though - this looks and smells the exact same as that. Some day I'll have to compare at the store.

I have the Tarte Femme Naturale Refillable eye palette (but can't find it here on TotalBeauty) and I just love it! I won it from TotalBeauty in a drawing and I couldn't be happier! It not only has 10 shadows, but two eye pencils and a double-ended shadow brush. Plus it gives instructions for two great eye looks! This shadow stays on well and is fun to layer and play around with. I have never used any kind of high-end make-up before and I am very impressed. I may even buy refills for this when the time comes. The liner pencils weren't anything spectactular, but two of the shadows can easily be applied as liner with a damp or dry liner brush. I love this brand and this product! Thank you TB for giving me the chance to try something I would have never been able to do otherwise.
