Fairest Nude is the Fairest of Them All

I have only tried the shade "Fairest Nude" but i love it. A few beauty gurus on YouTube were raving about it and I knew I had to pick it up. It's a "my lips but better" shade for my NC15 skin. The only reason I am only giving it 9 stars is because of the taste and smell. I cannot put my finger on the smell but it is similar to Play-Doh. The taste isn't horrible but it does have a weird chemically flavor. I have had this lipstick for a while but I'm almost certain it was like this when I got it. I would recommend this lipstick to anyone with any skintone because it is very versatile. It could be a medium beige for someone light, like myself, or a nude for someone darker. Run out and get it now!

  • Avon GLIMMERSTICKS Waterproof Liner for Eyes

Growing up my best friend's mom sold Avon so they always had these laying around the house. I ended up buying a few from her and was pleasantly surprised at the staying power. It is a drier formula; but that's how it stays on all day. I love the brown shades and the plum, they are subtle but really make my brown/hazel eyes pop. My only complaint is that they are virtually invisible on the waterline but I feel if they worked on the waterline they would slide off everywhere else and that wouldn't be very effective, would it?

  • MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick

My best friend purchased "Impressive" from the Sheen Supreme line and I loved the way it looked and wanted to try a shade from the line. I tried on "Supreme Style" at the MAC counter and loved it. As MAC describes it, it is a beautiful "light coral with pink". I have had this product for about six months now and I can say that it is very uncomfortable if you do not have really moisturized lips. I do not like to wear this lipstick alone because it feels really cakey and dry so I usually wear a lip balm under it. I love the color and it was pricey, so I do occasionally reach for it but it's not one of my favorite MAC products. I would like to try some of their other shades from this line to see if it is just the shade I got or if the whole line is like this.

L'Oreal Paris Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner

    Great Introduction to Liquid Liners

I purchased this after hearing about it all over the YouTube beauty community. I never had much luck with other liquid eyeliners because of the density of the triangle shaped brush. The applicator is long so you can lay it horizontally along your lash line and just drag it. Now I have moved on to gel eyeliner but I will always have fond memories of this product. I would just put a thin line on my upper lash line everyday in highschool and it wouldn't budge all day. Now, I like gel/cream better because I have more control on how to create a wing, but I have seen people on YouTube effectively create a flick with this eyeliner perfectly.

    Try Too Faced Instead

I first tried this back in 2009 when it had the little crappy doe foot applicator, but besides that it was terrific. I eventually ran out of that, after cutting open the genie bottle to get the left over product at the bottom (like many did, too). I then picked up the new bottle that changed the applicator foot and I just felt something was a little different. It wasn't the same formula to me that I had grown to love. I ended up losing that and eventually invested in the new (at the time) squeeze tube and felt, again, that it wasn't the same. After that I decided to stop investing my money into this product and to try something else, Too Faced Shadow Insurance. It is a lot more effective at enhancing the beauty of shadows and preventing creasing. I naturally have extremely oily lids, do maybe Urban Decay Primer Potion would work for you, but for me it's almost as if I applied no eye primer.

  • Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio

I've never understood why everyone raves about these trios. I think they are extremely powdery and they irritate my very sensitive eyes. The trio "Don't Steal My Thunder" contains a very chalky white color (that I've never been able to effectively use), a deep deep sparkly black (which is actually great but has a lot of fall out but it is a lot richer than MAC's Carbon), and a grayish silver (that I never found anything special about). The trio "Silent Treatment" has a light pinky shade (that is marketed as the 'browbone' shade but I've never really used it since it irritates the beegeezus out of my eyes), a dark dark brown with gold sparkle (i suprisingly like this shade as it reminds me of 'Beauty Marked' by MAC), and a taupey purple (that some have compared to 'Satin Taupe' by MAC but I do not find it as deep and pearl-essence that also irritated my eyes). The next trio I purchased was "Walking on Eggshells" which contains a creamy beige color that has no pigmentation and just created a weird barrier on the surface that I had to scratch through), a medium bronze (which I actually love and use often in my crease), and a medium peach (that irritated the heck out of my eyes. I did like at least one shade in each palette, but that's not enough for me. I'd rather just purchase these shades as singles instead of having to play a guessing game of weather I am going to like all the shades or not. I think the black in "Don't Steal My Thunder" is awesome but I would never repurchase in any of these palettes.

    Must Have For Blowout

I purchased this for about $18 from my salon after it was recommended to me by my hair stylist. It was the smallest brush there and I really did not want to pay that much money for a "brush" but I loved the way it made my hair look when my stylist used it on me. Before I was "blowing out" my hair (a.k.a. attempting) with a rinky-dink Conair large diameter brush with a ceramic center. My hair was always frizzy and I always had to go on top with a flat iron. My hair was very dead and had a lot split ends so the first thing my stylist suggested to me was to cut down on the heat by ditching the straightner and just blowing out my hair instead. Now, with this brush in the 1-3/4'' size, I can achieve a frizz free blowout and do not have to touch up with a flat iron. This brush has a wood center, instead of a ceramic, so it is easier on the hair and is not a conductor (like metal or ceramic). I have never experienced static but if I ever do it's nothing a little Static Guard cannot fix.

If You Use Heat Everyday You Need This

In the past I was not aware of how much damage can create on your hair so I never used a heat protectant. I had tried a friends Chi Silk Infusion but hated the smell so I picked this up back when I was in highschool and have been using it ever since (4 years later). I unfortunately have to wash my hair everyday so I blow dry it everyday... I feel like my hair would be a split end mess if it wasn't for this product plus my Organix Moroccan Argan Penetrating Oil.

    Suave Professionals Humectant Shampoo

    Not for Sensitive Scalps

This is an amazing shampoo... if you do not have a sensitive scalp. As a child I always had dandruff but once I got older it went away. I am almost certain that this shampoo irritated my scalp and caused me to get severe dandruff and scalp discomfort. Before I had this problem I would have told you it was my holy grail, along with the conditioner, and it made my hair so soft and had an awesome smell. So, if your scalp can handle some chemicals and sulfates, try this out ASAP. Sensitive scalp? Run!

    Lasts Forever!

My mom purchased this curling iron for me when I was in 6th grade and I continued using it for almost 7 years!... until I lost it! It was my favorite curling iron, I would curl my hair every morning before work and by the end of the day my hair was still bouncy and voluminous. My current Revlon 1 inch iron is not doing the trick. At. All. I need to repurchase this but it is a little more money than most drugstore curling irons so I'm waiting till the Revlon makes me 100% sick to my stomach.
