Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner 2 in 1

Conditioner that rivals you favorite perfume : )

You know something rocks when your husband tells you to stop using whatever else you tried and "go back to that blue stuff!" I first got this in a sample size for our honeymoon in Europe so maybe it's also good memories, but I swear that no other conditioner (or shampoo) makes my hair feel as soft and smell as good (and the smell actually lingers for a day or two!) I have curly hair that tends towards being a bit dry and frizzy which is not the target for this particular line (they have a curly hair line as well). However, I still find this line works the best for my hair. Now I can only cross my fingers they don't stop making it as always seems to happen when I love something!!

    Clinique Happy

Is it a cliche that Happy makes you feel...happy : )

I normally do not care for scents that have a "watery" layer to them, but for whatever reason truly like this perfume. It somehow manages to mix the whole clean/watery smell with something fruity with the end result coming off very light and summer-y. It's a bit too light for the colder months, but I've found that spraying the bedding with it then allows me year-round use : ) Btw, stick with the original-the variations on the scent just don't compare!

    Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Cream

Who needs expensive stuff when this stuff is amazing?!!

I am in my late 20s and have been using this at night for a couple years and adore it! Of course, since I am still on the young side, I can't say for sure how strong it is in the "war on wrinkles" but I can attest that my skin looks wonderful. Also, despite having combination skin; this has never caused me to get too oily or break out. It also goes on easily, soaks in quickly, and smells heavenly : ) I say at least give it a go before coughing up $$$ at Sephora for something similar. Oh, and try their eye gel-the only thing I've found that doesn't irritate my eyes and feels wonderful to boot!

  • Bath & Body Works Triple Moisture Body Cream

Bath & Body Works Triple Moisture Body Cream

Mmmmmmmmmm-body cream you can get addicted to : )

So I am a confirmed Bath & Body Works fan, but must agree with the other reviewers that the creme (and body butter) version of their products totally rock my world! My proof? My elbows AND knees are soft and smooth-even in the dead of winter! I think everyone has their favorite fragrance, but my current ones are Sensual Amber and Black Raspberry Vanilla. My only caveat is that you MUST go to a store and try the different smells as some of them truly stink!

  • Sephora Glitter Lipstick

    Sephora Glitter Lipstick

Not as bad as all that!

Ok, I agree that this lipstick is not the most flavorful and it doesn't go on super-creamy like pricey stuff does...BUT, I actually liked it : ) And I am super-picky re lipstick. I found what can only be described as a "Halloween" shade of purple that somehow on my lips resembled a dark burgundy with a perfect amount of glitter. I am a sparkle freak so am thrilled to find anything that features glitter : ) I do think this one may be short-lived though and suffer the dry-out syndrome that seems to occur with cheaper lipsticks...but I'll enjoy it while I can!

  • Victoria's Secret Pink Body Care

    Victoria's Secret Pink Body Care

    Soap-on-a-rope redefined for girly-girls!!

The fact that they discontinued the "Pink" fragrance line has caused me great sorrow and a frantic trip to the local mall to stock up!! I am totally in love with the "fruity & bright" line and recommend that you go and pick some up (on sale!) before it's gone forever (sigh). The smell is a mix of blackberry and something else and has close appeal to Bath & Body Works' Blackberry Vanilla (but better and maybe a bit more fruity?) The soap leaves such a nice smell on your skin and it's incredibly convenient to have the rope to hang it from the shower-head caddy. Oh, and be sure to get the co-ordinating body spray/cologne and lotion too!! : )

    Benefit Her Glossiness

my new favorite lip gloss : )

I am in love with this lip gloss! I had a sample size of it from a gift set and was happily surprised how amazing this stuff turned out to be : ) Not only does it have the perfect amount of shiny; it also tastes really good! I've tried several colors and have yet to have a 'clinker'. Honestly, once you try this you are NEVER going to use another gloss as you just can't beat it.

    Benefit valley of the stars

LOVE the TOTALLY cute set-and packaging!!

So if you know me then you know I ADORE shimmer and glitter and this has plenty of the former in what has to be the CUTEST packaging ever : ) I just wish ALL the brands out there thought to do little sets like this so you can give their popular (or not so popular) products a try before commiting...hey, it made a customer out of me...ended up buying the full size of High Beam and Her Glossiness! so here goes...the shadows are great-blend well and have just enough shimmer to wake up your eyes...another use for the white is to use it to highlight the corners of your eyes to really open them up (esp if your eyes are close-set) The gloss is awesome! The flavor is great and the shine is just the perfect balance of not being sticky but still being gloss-y...the color is very subtle and I imagine would flatter just about anyone : ) My favorites are the highlighters...you can use them as 'eyeshadow' in a pinch or to add really pretty (but subtle) light to your face-think how you look when light hits you in a flattering way : ) I use the pinkish one more as I'm pale, but have used the golden one when I get a bit of color in the summertime too. Now I just have to figure out what to use the case for since it's empty...to cute to throw away!

  • Aveeno Positively Ageless Rejuvenating Serum

So I'm not yet old enough to use the derm-strength stuff BUT decided I still should be using SOMEthing for day and night because you can never start too soon, right? I was told to try a light moisturizer, sunscreen, and antioxidant type serum for day and retinol-based product at night. Well, had heard good things about Aveeno so decided to try that for the serum part of my new regimen and...YAY!! Not only does this stuff really make my skin seem softer/smoother; it also has the BEST smell of any skin product I've ever tried. I even tried it by itself for a couple weeks and STILL saw/felt a difference. It has a nice cooling feel as it goes on and blends in easily. My skin never feels greasy either; just refreshed. I say, go Aveeno : )

  • Jurlique Rose Silk Finishing Powder
    9.0

    Jurlique Rose Silk Finishing Powder

Beautifully scented though expensive facial/dusting powder

Caveat! Unless you are as snow-white pale as I am; this may not be the best product for you...this review comes c/o someone who has used Johnson's baby powder as a base in a pinch hahaha : ) Otherwise, this is a very fine, white powder which is incredibly silk-y smooth going on and smells HEAVENLY (well, if you like roses!) I felt very Victorian using it : ) Now, it may work on other complexions; it doesn't really make me look any paler...I thought it went on pretty sheer, but again-it is basically a very delicate white dusting powder. Another thought...I have used it as a powder on my shoulder and clavicles for a pretty light scent with the tiniest bit of shimmer. The only true complaint I have is the price...while yes it does last a good long while; it's not cheap nor easy to find (specialty spas tend to be the only place to get it besides online). oh well, it's worth it : )
