  • MAC 219 Pencil Brush

I know MAC brushes are on the pricey side, but you definitely get your money's worth. I love this brush for smudging pencil liner on my upper lash line, and also smudging shadow on my lower lash line. So basically if you love smokey eye looks, this brush is for you! A little expensive, but if taken care of properly, MAC brushes last years!

  • Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion Smooth Vitality Conditioner

My hair is dry and coarse, so I need conditioners that deliver a lot of moisture. This conditioner is somewhat smoothing, but it wasn't heavy enough for me. When I rinsed it out, my hair seemed tangled and somewhat unhealthy :( This would probably work for someone whose hair isn't super damaged and needs something light.

    Pantene Pro-V Brunette Expressions Shampoo

Good, but John Frieda is better

This line generally made my hair softer and shinier, but sometimes I noticed a greasiness, almost like a film in my hair. I didn't notice any difference to the color, besides enhanced shine. All in all, I prefer the Brilliant Brunette line of products.

  • Hard Candy Sheer Envy Cosmetic Primer
    5.0

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Cosmetic Primer

    Not horrible, nothing special

This primer isn't amazing, and it's not terrible either. It didn't break me out which is a plus, and it makes my skin super soft. Past that, it's not that exciting. It wasn't exceptionally moisturizing for dry skin, and it didn't make my foundation last longer or control oil later in the day for greasier areas of my face. I would recommend this to people with normal skin who just want to make their skin soft, smooth, and ready for foundation application. Don't expect it to do much more than that. But honestly, for $8, I guess I'm not completely surprised or disappointed by this primer's performance.

  • Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Invisible Finish Moisture Gel

This gel works beautifully for my sensitive/combo dry oily skin (lol). It's very silky and smooth, and gives adequate moisture without leaving a greasy feel to the skin. It's kinda like the Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel in its consistency. I only wish it had spf, because this would work much better under makeup than the Paula's choice day moisturizers do. But it does work for a night moisturizer!

  • Paula's Choice Extra Care Non-Greasy Sunscreen SPF 45

I use this sunscreen every day as my day moisturizer. I have combo skin so I have dry areas and oilier areas and this stuff gives me the moisture I need. My only complaint is that it leaves a shiny finish and isn't the greatest under makeup. It doesn't leave my skin greasy, it just makes it look greasy. This is easily remedied by using a face primer before I put my makeup on, but it would be nice not to have to take that extra step. But since this gives my skin moisture, antioxidants, spf, and doesn't break me out, I'll deal with using a primer. :)

  • Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel with Pump
    9.0

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel with Pump

Good night moisturizer for combo skin

This gel is lightweight yet delivers the moisture my face needs! I have combo skin (drier in the winter, oilier in the summer) and this works really well for me. I put it on every night before bed and my skin is soft and smooth in the morning. It doesn't break me out or irritate my skin, but obviously everyone is different. I would have given it 10 stars but it doesn't have spf. It works beautifully under makeup so I'm disappointed that I have to use something else during the day to get my sunscreen. Other than that I love this stuff and will continue to use it!

  • Rimmel London Lasting Finish Soft Colour Mono Blush

I have this blush in the color "santa rose" and it's a subtle peachy tan (that actually works on my fair skin). A big plus to this product is the packaging. I hate blushes that are a weird shape (like covergirl's blushes) and make it hard to get my brush coated evenly. This is plain-looking, but very practical. The powder isn't too fine or too grainy, and goes on smoothly and evenly. The color payoff isn't amazing, but is very buildable, which helps me not accidentally put on too much. I only wish there were more colors! Will definitely repurchase in the future.

  • Hard Candy Blush Crush Baked Blush

Hard Candy Blush Crush Baked Blush

    Pretty packaging, pretty blush!

I have this blush in "honeymoon" and it's a pale baby pink. I wear it when my eyeshadow is quite dramatic and don't want to put lots of color on my cheeks. It delivers a slightly pink flush, which is very subtle and gorgeous! It does have a lot of shimmer, which some may not like, but I don't mind it. The only downside is there aren't that many colors to choose from. Hopefully that changes in the future!

  • Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash

I liked how soft my skin felt after using this, but that was the only good thing I noticed. It didn't smell very good and is a little drying. It has a few irritating ingredients in it, so I think those with sensitivities or acne should definitely steer clear. Actually I've heard that scrubs are somewhat of a waste of time; exfoliation with salicylic acid is much better for your skin. But if you really like scrubs, don't buy this one; it's too expensive and definitely isn't the best out there.
