    OPI Sephora by OPI

Doesn't wear as well as the original opi...but I still love it!

I have a couple of these polishes and I really like them. The wear isn't horrible; it usually starts to chip on me after the 2-3 day mark, which is normal. The original OPI can last a day or 2 longer. Another downgrade is that OPI "pro-wide" brush so many people love. The brush in this polish is quite skinny,so it's harder to get an even coat. But I will continue to buy it because the color selection is AMAZING! Neutrals, brights, metallics, they have 'em all. A little pricey but I can't help myself!

  • L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Powder

L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Powder

Loved this but it broke me out :(

This powder applies beautifully (with a brush-not the sponge, that would be too heavy for me) and I loved the way it set my foundation and got rid of shine. It looks really natural too, not cakey. Too bad I broke out after using it! It has corn starch, which can promote bacteria growth (eww), so it's not a good choice for those who struggle with acne. But if that isn't an issue, I would highly recommend this powder.

  • Clinique Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector
    9.0

    Clinique Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector

A lil pricey, but very effective!

I love this product. It can be used to mop up oil before makeup application, or at any time during the day to freshen the face and diminish shine. Sometimes I use it on my t-zone, before I put my foundation on, but I really love having it with me to help midday shine. I just squeeze some onto my fingers and pat it on my t-zone. It makes my face look really matte and even, instead of cakey or heavy like it does when I keep reapplying powder. I can see this becoming a summer staple in my purse!

  • Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Light
    8.0

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Light

    Very good primer, but expensive!

This primer makes my skin really smooth, soft, and matte and helps my foundation go on evenly. Another good thing about it is that it doesn't dry out the skin or exaggerate dry areas. Anyone with very oily to combo skin would probably like this primer. My only complaint is that it's so expensive :( otherwise I would give it a 10!

  • Olay Foaming Face Wash - Sensitive Skin

After spending loads of $ trying to find a good face wash, my search has ended! And it's under $5! Forget expensive cleansers that have fancy ingredients, and claim to give you healthy skin. All you need is something that cleans thoroughly, removes makeup effectively and doesn't dry out the skin. That is exactly what this olay face wash does! It's very basic, and is gentle and effective. I think all skin types (maybe excluding very dry) would benefit from using this cleanser.

  • Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum

    Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum

A little heavy and I love it!

My hair is long and colored (I'm trying to grow that out!) and it has a lot of poof and frizz to it. This serum really tones down that poof and makes my hair really soft and shiny. It can be a little greasy, so I keep it far from my roots. Ladies with fine or oily hair might not like this product, but if your hair is dry, coarse or frizzy, it will probably work quite well for you!

  • Philosophy Flavored Lip Shine
    6.0

    Philosophy Flavored Lip Shine

    Not overly impressed...

The scents that philosophy uses in their glosses are so yummy, but that's the only thing I like about them. The texture is very sticky and syrupy and feels uncomfortable on my lips. Of course that probably makes them last longer but I never want it on my lips for long anyway-I always find myself wiping it off! If philosophy changed the formula to be a little more smooth, I would definitely buy them because the scents smell great and the packaging is always really cute.

  • MAC Lustreglass

First of all, the shade selection in this line is amazing! Everyone will be able to find a color they like. Love Nectar is a gorgeous pinky-peach color that's great for summer. The wear isn't bad; very typical for a lip gloss. It will stay on only for an hour or 2 before I need to reapply, but that's to be expected. The texture is nice, not overly sticky or syrupy, and it lightly moisturizes which is a plus. I will definitely be buying new colors in the future!

  • Wet n Wild ColorIcon Bronzer
    5.0

    Wet n Wild ColorIcon Bronzer

    eh...not great, not horrible

I was in the drugstore searching for a matte bronzer (so many shimmer bronzers!) and this is the closest I could find. There are some subtle sparkles, but they don't show up on the face. I probably won't buy this again because I don't like the look of it on my skin. I'm very fair, and just need something to add a little warmth to my face. It's not overly orange, but I found this bronzer actually makes my skin look dirty, like I haven't put foundation on. The evenness I get from my foundation is lost when I apply this stuff. Not cool! This might work well for ladies who like to skip foundation and just want to warm up their complexion with some color. Otherwise, I'd skip it.

  • Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes! Waterproof Mascara: Mascara

This mascara has a good & bad side. Pros: the volume it gives is INSANE. The color is a very deep glossy black. It holds curl and stays all day without smudging. I find that when I layer it over a lengthening mascara, my lashes are super full and dramatic--to the point of looking like fake lashes! Cons: it can be quite clumpy. The formula is wet and goopy, and the stopper leaves globs on the brush, which means globs on the lashes. But combing thru them usually does the trick. All in all, I love this mascara (besides the price of course).
