  • Tweezerman Mini Slant

Before this little guy, I had never tried any of the tweezerman brand tweezers. Because they were so expensive, I was never really tempted to buy them. I found this one on sale at my Ulta, I believe, so I decided to try it. And boy, it definitely works well. It outshines all the other tweezers I have ever tried by a landslide. It gets even the smallest, most stubborn hairs that refuse to be plucked by my other tweezers. Also, for some reason, I find that using these tweezers hurt a lot less than my other pairs. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who asks. The only downside to this and all of the other tweezerman products is the expensive tag that comes with it, but then again, you are paying for a quality pair of tweezers that will last a long time.

    Just buy the Naked Palette

I was really excited when I first got this palette because I thought it would be a good alternative to the Naked palettes from Urban Decay. While I do like the pigmentation and quality of the shadows, I find that I don't reach for it very often, and for my skin (medium with yellow skin tones) I can't find a very good all over the lid shade. And the only shade that would be considered as a highlight is definitely way too white and light for my skin. This palette would be more approprite for a more brown smokey eye, but not for a light everyday look. The packaging on it is very nice and cute, but I think it would just be worth it to get another palette.

  • L'Oreal Paris Go 360 Clean

This product definitely has its pros and cons. I liked the cleanser itself, especially with the little rubber scrubber because it lathers it up really well. It does get my face pretty clean, but I don't notice it doing anything too amazing. However, after using for a few weeks, I noticed the pores around my nose area had gotten more noticeable and seemingly larger. I hadn't changed anything in my face routine, so I think it might've been the rubber scrubber. I stopped using the scrubber and just finished off the bottle of cleanser by itself, but it doesn't lather up as well. :/ It was an okay product overall.

    Batiste Dry Shampoo

    Excellent!

I love this dry shampoo. In the past, I've tried, the Psssst, tres'eme, dove, and a couple of powder dry shampoos., and out of them all, I love this one. I prefer the one for dark brown hair versus all of the other ones, because the gray streaks that is characteristic of dry shampoos don't show up on my hair. It works pretty well when you first apply it, but I think that as the day goes on, your hair looks even better because the dry shampoo continues to soak up the oils. I usually use this on second day hair, but when I wake up on the third day, it looks even better than it did on the second day. The "fresh and flirty" one smells really good, but shows up more in my dark hair. Would definitely recommend! It works great for being around 5 dollars.

  • Aussie Hair Insurance Split-End Protector

This product is pretty good! I have brunette hair, and I'm a swimmer, so my hair is not too great at the ends because of chlorine's effect on it. I have some split ends, and my ends are pretty dry and tangly. I usually put this on my ends as a leave in conditioner after my shower, and I really love this. It detangles my hair, leaves if feeling silky smooth, and has a pleasant scent. It still leaves my hair pretty smooth even hours after my hair has dried. As for the split end claims, I've heard that nothing can actually "repair" split ends. But this does sort of seal up the ends so the split ends are not as noticeable. This little bottle also lasts for a really long time. I have medium length hair, and I find that half a pump to one pump is plenty! It has lasted me a really long time. I've had this for maybe 3 months, and I'm still only halfway through the bottle! Would overall recommend this, even if you don't have split ends, it works great as a leave in conditioner/detangler!

  • John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Multi-Tone Revealing Moisturising Conditioner with crushed pearls and sweet almond oil

I really love using this product, along with its shampoo counterpart in my daily routine. I have pretty colorless brunette hair, and this conditioner does what it claims. After my hair has dried after showering, there is a noticeable difference in the color and tones of my hair. My hair is left looking a lot more vibrant and not so colorless. I'm also left with a nice silkiness and shine in my hair that I normally don't have. I would definitely recommend going for this particular line from John Frieda. My shampoo/conditioner duo also lasted me a REALLY long time, since you only need a little bit of this to work well.

  • Tigi Bed Head Colour Combat Dumb Blonde Shampoo

I did not like this product at all. I have dark blonde, almost bordering on brunette hair. I am also a swimmer, so my hair gets brassy and colorless pretty easily. I thought this shampoo would help with the brassiness and bring some color back into my hair. While it didn't do that, that wasn't the worst part about it. I find that this shampoo (and its matching conditioner), left a whole bunch of residue in my hair after my shower. That feeling of leftover shampoo and conditioner is no bueno. AFter the first couple of times, it took me twice as long as previous shampoos and conditioners i have tried to get all the gunk out. I didn't particularly notice less brassiness in my hair, so I'm not sure how well it works in that aspect. Personally, I think it's a little too much work. I'll stick to other shampoos and conditioners I have tried.

  • Wet n Wild ColorIcon Eyeshadow Palette

I loveee these wet n wild shadows. I have several of the trios, and two of the 8 color palettes. I usually go for the neutral palettes, and I find that all of them are very wearable and the shadows are highly pigmented. I even wear the trio that has blues in it, I believe it's called "On Cloud Nine". These last very long with a primer underneath, but I have used them without a primer, and they still hold up very well. The shadows are buttery and soft, which can be good and bad. I personally like the softness, but when I dropped one of my 8 shadow palettes, a lot of the colors crumpled on me and I was only left with 3 usable shadows. The trios are around 2-4 dollars, and the 8 color palettes were $5 for me. Overall an excellent value for the price, especially if you get it for buy one get one 50% off! I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Go for "Walking on Eggshells" and "Silent Treatment" for good, everyday neutrals, or "Don't Steal my Thunder" for a smokey eye!

    Urban Decay Naked Palette

    LOVE LOVE LOVE

There are no words to describe how much I love this palette. All the colors in this palette are very pigmented, high quality, and long lasting. The shades of these shadows are all wearable on a daily basis and work very well with each other. I find that I can make many different looks with just the shades in this palette. Very travel friendly! I was concerned about the price, but after a month of hard debating, i caved and bought it. It was well worth it, as I think I will be getting a lot of use out of this palette. The brush is not exactly my favorite. I find that it is a little too stiff, and doesn't apply the eyeshadow on as well as another brush could. Overall though, a great product!

  • Zoya Remove Plus Nail Polish Remover

This nail polish remover has been great. As said in other reviews, it does remove nail polish a lot quicker than your typical remover from the drugstores. It seems to leave your hands and nails a lot less dry than others would, and the smell is bearable compared to others. I bought mine at a nail polish discount store for 7 or 8 dollars, which is still pricey compared to the 3-5 dollar range of nail polish removers you can find anywhere. I'm not sure I would pay the full price for this, but as long as my discount store continues to carry it, I think I will keep buying it.
