Here are all my reviews:
  • TRESemme Detangle Leave-In Spray

My hair is fine and very prone to tangling and breakage. I've struggled with it all my life. Well, not any more, thanks to this spray. It practically eliminates what for me is at best an after-shower annoyance (pain, snapping) and at worst an out and out battle.

    Aveda Reusable Organic Tote Bag

Price is the negative factor, here.

Really, my Target bag is just as durable as this. I feel like I'm being asked to pay for the 'coolness' of the Aveda branding here. Still, it's a solid product.

  • Burt's Bees Baby Bee Apricot Baby Oil

I love the apricot scent and the nice, totally natural feel. The glass bottle is the only problem. Slippery hand plus glass bottle? No bueno. Still, oils can be so gross and this one is very light and healthy feeling.

I didn't believe a product so cheap could work as well as this. Well, I was wrong. It's thick and less delicate than most of the expensive brands I've tried, but it works better than many of them. It also doesn't break out my sensitive, weird skin. If you want high-end results without the high end price tag, this is one of my top recommendations.

  • Alba Papaya Enzyme Facial Mask

Okay, this stuff really works. Let me describe my skin. Super oily with huge pores on the cheeks and nose, between my eyebrows and on the chin. But also tending to dry and act sensitive when I try to treat those areas. Well, this mask does the job. The gross residuey feeling my skin gets when I don't mask it often enough is GONE when I finish with this. It doesn't dry or mess with the sensitive aspect of my skin. It does tingle or lightly sting, but not in the sense that you think it's doing something wrong. You so, so should try this. It makes my skin feel like it did when I was too young to appreciate it.

  • Borghese Fango Delicato Active Mud for Delicate Dry Skin

Why only eight stars? Price, price, price. This is a very good, but not great, mask. The price is terrible, or more specifically, there are masks that give me comparable results for a tenth of the price. If you have disposable income, this is a soft, good-feeling mask to try. It seemed to slightly reduce the size of my pores, but only temporarily and the effect didn't get any more pronounced with time.

One of the deal breakers about mascara: CLUMPING! Can not say it enough. If I want to go from zero to trashy in five seconds, a bad mascara will do the trick. Dior Show does not have that problem. It goes on smooth, doesn't feel thick on the wand, doesn't "drag" through my lashes, and best of all, is formulated so the product doesn't cake on the lashes (so the ends don't look as thick as the bases.)

  • Rimmel London Colour Rush Duo Eyeshadow

Rimmel London Colour Rush Duo Eyeshadow

The only reason this doesn't get a 1....

... is because I didn't get an allergic reaction or a scratch on my cornea from this shoddy product. It has the same cakey, hard-to-apply consistency as other drugstore type shadows. I like to apply with my fingers, but good luck with this one. You'll need one of those three pronged garden tools to get anywhere after about three uses. I so wanted to like it.

  • Maybelline New York ExpertWear Eye Shadow 8 Pan

I bought this because I didn't have a lot of money and needed some color for a new job. Well, all I can say is it's good they hired me on merit instead of fashion. The colors are cheap and have a sheen to them immediately, the product compresses in the case, which makes me think of gross, cakey ingredients, and well, I should have gone makeup free and saved my money for something nicer.

    M.A.C. Eye Shadow

    Simply my favorite.

The thing about MAC eyeshadow is, I can't stay away. I always tell myself, 'Ini, you need to try some other brands. Branch out. And I do buy other brands... sometimes. I linger over the counters in department stores... but there's something about MAC's presentation that always brings me back. And let's get into their variety. I never tried a BRIGHT RED eyeshadow before someone at the MAC store put it on me. I can go glittery or matte in fully complimentary shades. I really feel like MAC's colors are designed so well that I felt like I had permission to explore looks I never would have come up with on my own.
