    Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick

Best for Normal to Dry Skin

This little wonder is perfect since it's quick and easy and also doubles as a concealer. It's very spreadable and blendable and works for just about anyone who isn't oily or acne-prone. The color range is also good!

    Decleor Hydra Floral Moisturizing Cream

Such a Good LIne and Moisturizer

I love Decleor for so many reasons. It's really gentle, smells great and works like crazy. I've used this moisturizer in the past and loved how light it was and how it really held moisture all day long. Good for someone with middle of the road dryness and not too many skin concerns. Just a great everyday moisturizer.

  • Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser
    7.0

    Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser

Thousands of Derms Can't be Wrong

Anyone who's seen a doctor about their troubled skin has been told to use Cetaphil cleanser because it's gentle and effective at the same time. Not for those who like foaming action since it's more of a creamy, milky texture. If you use a lot of makeup, you might want to use either a rosewater toner to pre-cleanse or something oil-based.

  • L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Makeup

L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Makeup

One of the best drugstore foundations you'll find!

Not since high school have I used a drugstore brand foundation. But here I am. 32 and love, love, loving L'Oreal True Match. First, you'll find your shade right off the bat so you won't be wasting money, stuck with one that doesn't work. Attached to the display are their 24 shades represented by color swatches on a clear plastic card, so when you hold it up to your skin, the correct shade will disappear. Not that it has to be exact, which is the whole point of why this foundation is so cool. L'Oreal's Precise Match technology turns a color that might be just a little off into one that melts undetected into the skin also matching its texture so you see beautifully even skin- not makeup. Their formula is great for all ages and skin types since it's free of oil, fragrance, and fillers with a just-right amount of SPF 17. I reached for True Match when I would've otherwise grabbed my Jane Iredale mineral makeup just because my face was so flakey from the Retin-A I've been using, and liquid makeup always makes imperfections look even worse. True Match blended into my dry patches and disguised my redness for seamless coverage that looked natural, and stayed on throughout the day, even without setting powder.

  • L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Deep-Set Wrinkle Repair 24HR Eye Duo

If you saw my bathroom cabinets you probably wouldn't be surprised, but perhaps a little overwhelmed. Day this, night that, serums, creams, and complex layering systems. I'm fine with it, but most women just want to get in and get out. I think the 'what to use when' dilemma is a difficult one since skincare is already so confusing, which is why I really like the new Revitalift Deep-Set Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream from L'Oreal. Twin twist apart tubes containing two complimentary formulas for day and night take the guesswork out of banishing crow's feet. The night version is a Retinol-rich formula with their Fiber-Restoring Complex to rebuild broken skin fiber reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Since retinol (vitamin a) can make the skin more sensitive to sun, the day formula contains SPF 15 mixed into light hydration and other skin smoothers. The packaging is clever, the amount is generous, and the easy-to-use (and understand) concept is much appreciated. In a sea of products so smart we can't understand them, this one makes wrinkle-banishing so easy.

  • L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Kohl Eyeliner

For the women who love the look of eyeliner, but don't trust themselves to apply it- this is for you. L'Oreal delivers another innovative product at a great value with their HiP Kohl Eyeliner. This pointed, firm, felt-tipped applicator allows you to easily control the right amount of this ultra fine kohl powder as fine or as thick as you like. Since it isn't liquid, there is a lot of forgiveness so a steady hand isn't required. Use the tip for a thin, precision look, or smudge it over your lids using the side of the wand for a rocker-glam eye. One minor caveat to the product is the potential for 'fallout' which are the tiny specks of product that can fall from the applicator onto your cheeks- It's to be expected with the wand/kohl powder combo and isn't a huge deal. Just shake the wand over the sink to release the excess before application.

  • Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser
    10.0

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

It doesn't foam- you won't care

I have skin that's slightly oily and sometimes troubled- so a squeaky clean feeling is what I'm going for. Although this cleanser doesn't foam up- it is a full cream consistency that holds up and removes all dirt and oil. The cleanser doesn't break down with scrubbing or water, it holds up and grabs onto everything to totally remove it. There's a little eucalyptus in there ( I believe) that leaves behind a cooling sensation that's so refreshing. The cloth included is also great for removing impurities without tugging or roughing up your skin. It's a no brainer that you'll love this one.
