Colorstay truely means color that STAYS
i have very oily skin and no makeup stays on my skin for longer than 3 or 4 hours. so i bought the one specific for oily combination skin. i can still give 10 stars to this because even if the initial smell is on the paint thinner side, it (being the smell) goes away right away anyway, and even the best of them such as bobbi brown's oil free liquid foundation also has a faint chemical smell so i prefer this drugstore brand. i am fortunate to live in a hot and humid climate so my revlon liquid foundation doesn't dry up too quickly and i can still blend it. the glass bottle with no pump didn't turn me off either because i've already read about it here and saw it on youtube so i bought a plastic travel size/kit lotion/gel dispenser with pump (about 70 cents and i can just pour it in there for ease and hygienic purposes. i mean it revlon's foundation is only $13, so i don't expect it to great packaging and have a great product inside like makeup forever and mac's foundation (that do have pump bottles). what i know is, that the product inside revlon's glass bottle is 1.) it lasts longer that 12 hours without getting darker on my skin. 2.) i didn't have to blot off oil from my nose for at least 6 or 7 hours compared to my usual every 2 to 3 hours with other foundations. 3.) not as expensive as bobbi brown and mac 4.) didn't break me out 5.) blendable, spreadable, buildable, in my part of the world and 6.) coverage is awesome, it covers my new and very pink pimple scars so i don't need to dab concealer there so i have less stuff to put on my face and i need less time to put on my face. 7.) drugstore brand.

Dove Anti Perspirant Deodorant Ultimate Clear Cool Essentials-good and dry
It smells wonderful. The cucumber and green tea combination makes the scent on the citrus side but very mild and gentle. The product has the same consistency of secret's stick deodorant only slightly softer. The dove ultimate clear cool essentials slides on more smoothly than my secret stick deodorant did. It also gets absorbed by my skin quickly. It only takes a few wipes on each under arm as well. Dove claims that it moisturizes, it certainly does. My under arm skin is much smoother and since I don't wax and merely shave, I have a few goose bumps. I credit this product for softening and smooths out my goose pimples under my arm. I have no real problem with under arm discoloration neither does dove claim to whiten arm pits, but because dove's deo smoothened my goose bumps, it's possible, that there is less goose pimples to cast shadows to make my under arm seem darker than the rest of my arm. All I know is that I have smoother and more even colored arm pits. Dove say's "keeps the deodorant right where it should be-on your skin, not on clothes...", This part is not true in my case. I still get the white straight streaks on my dark clothes even if I wait awhile for it to dry and it dries quickly. (I roll up or fold up my t-shirts before wearing them so I get white streaks of deodorant instead of wiping off the deodorant all over the sides of my shirt.) The streaks on my clothes are difficult to remove, too. After my machine does its spin, I have to handwash the part of my blouse where the streaks are to take it out, which I suppose is logical since the product is supposed to stop wetness. Worse of it is, which is my fault, I've ruined a couple of t-shirts that way, I have t-shirts here that have discolored arm pits from trying to bleach off sticky slick deodorant. About wetness, it's possible that there are times of the month that my perspiration is more acidic than normal, but using the same product, applying the same amount or sliding the stick on my arm pits the same number of times can control sweat sometimes NOT. So the 24 hour sweat control is if-ey. When my sweat does break through though it's as though I had no deodorant in the first place so I don't get that white squiggly lines that look like an islands under my arms on my clothes But I like the smell and the moisturizing part so I keep buying it.

a good finishing powder
a very light finishing and setting powder. i got the translucent one and it does not affect the shade of the foundation underneath. it absorbs a lot of the oil on my nose and keeps me shine free for about three to four hours. i do not break out while using this and it doesn't clog my pores or give me black or white heads. i wouldn't know about the airbrushed look the advertisement claims but i do know is what i see, and what i see are smaller pores and a matte finish. it doesn't have talc and so the few pictures i have with this on are not reflective at all and i do not get white washed on the pictures. the only reason why i give it 9 stars is the price. other companies with the same ingredients and claim the same results less expensive

still oily with this oil free formula
Now, since summer arrived and my face is always very oily, I had a bout of a few pimples because of the heat, some stress, and bad timing of hormone levels, so a week ago I had zits. They've dried up now and I'm left with pink circular scars on my right laugh line. I use a silicone base primer, then apply the foundation to my t-zone, and over (or under which ever I remember to do first) my under eye concealer. It covers my ancient pimple scars pretty well. I have to put concealer over my newer pimple scars to further hide the redness. I ACTUALLY LOVE the coverage had it not been for my newer pimple scars. it's really natural looking and evens out my skin tone and made me look like I'm healthy. The shade I got is just ever so slightly darker than my neck which should make sense since it's my head or face that's more exposed to the sun. Together with my the face shop pore minimizer/primer this foundation hides the pores on my nose pretty well. With THAT I'm quite pleased. It feels very light on my skin, too. It's not cake-y and it doesn't feel or look like I have a mask on. While it's on my face, meaning before it eventually fades away, the shade does not change or get oxidized by getting darker on my skin. This liquid foundation is TOO expensive, you buy the name and the bottle but with that 42 bucks you can buy 2 mac foundations or 2 and half revlon colorstay foundations. This foundation is better for normal skin not oily. So if I had been living in a temperate climate, had less oily skin had my skin back when i had hardly any pimple scars, and the dough to put out then i might buy this again, This is the only foundation that TRULY matches my skin that has an odd combination of golden/yellow and vampire pale white. On a whim, maybe for the shade alone I would get it! It's very easy to blend because it doesn't dry too quickly and on the bright side you don't need a heavy duty makeup remover to get it off (er, cuz it gone by mid day)

Because I bought the whole seaweed line, trying out this facial scrub was a must. It comes in a tube, an upside down squeeze tube so ideally I can squeeze all the product out when it's nearly finished. The website says that it isn't soap, so ideally their seaweed exfoliator is less harsh. The first thing I noticed when I was lathering it up on my face was the pleasant smell. The smell was soft and not overwhelming. It doesn't smell like rubber or old paper like their seaweed mattifying day cream. The texture of this facial scrub is light and only the brownish peachy beads give it color, or at least to me it seemed like it. The beads on this exfoliator are bigger and alot more of them compared to the tiny and fewer beads I found in my total effects cream cleanser. Because the beads are bigger and are more in number I don't feel that all of the beads slowly rolling away from may face and go towards the spaces in between my fingers down to my palms like the beads in the olay facial cream cleanser's beads do. The lather isn't too thick either, it's more of the beads that I move around my face until I feel that the wetness is slowly disappearing. I use it about two to three minutes especially around my t zone are where I get alot of black heads, where I am oily, and where my pores are quite visible. The feeling I get after I rinse is a very soft and velvety clean on my face. I am not sure about the exfoliation I actually get because every so often I use a pore tape on my nose to try and lift off black heads. If anything this exfoliator cleanser is a good cleanser. It takes my make up off and if I forget and go over my eyes, it takes off the sticky eyeliner and mascara, too. So I don't see any left over dark gel-creamy crud at the outer corners of my eyes which would be the remnants of my eyeliner and mascara from today's make up. So compared to the olay cream cleanser (with only some beads), I don't do a do over on my eyes to clean any remnant make up, besides, the most exfoliator instructions say not to use this exfoliator on your eyelids anyway. I like the price, too, for once. Because comparing it to Lancome's Exfoliance Clarte, this body shop exfoliator is less than half Lancome's price. Comparing it to olay's cream cleanser's price which is around $9, paying extra for an exfoliator is ok since the product lasts me a great deal, a little goes a very long way. I just write on the bottle the date I opened it so that I know if a year has passed already. The tube tells you how long it is ok to use it by since they put 12M for twelve months on the label for it's expiration. If scrubbing either with loofa or jojoba beads like what the product has, then a few minutes of rubbing this on your face would make it a good scrub or exfoliator. The size of the beads that are on my fingers and face tell me that I am getting a good scrub just like the beads from the St. Ive's apricot scrub only this body shop exfoliator feels softer and more soothing on my face. The body shop exfoliator is not soap based so I like that because it isn't too harsh on my skin. It's a good cleanser, the exfoliation would be up to you depending how long you rub it on your face and neck.

Avon Anew Force Extra Eye Cream
The product comes in a small tub sorta like a v or u that tapers towards the bottom. It tapers more steeply towards the bottom on the inside of the bottle. There's a very light scent as with all anew products. The product applies smoothly it felt cool on my lids. The cream is light but takes a while for it to be absorbed by my skin. It also takes a while for it to dry. The skin under my eyes felt soft especially after I had just washed it off from a full eight hours of having it on the night before. It didn't help the darkness at the inner corners of my eyes. It didn't reduce the depth of the lines I am beginning to have. I still noticed it being there when I'd wash my face in the morning the next day. So either I put too much or it didn't get all absorbed. It also leaves a noticeable thin clear film under my eye when I would use it during the day. But I didn't notice if it got rubbed off on to my pillows. I used the product for about six weeks in the hopes that the product would do what it says it would do. I ended up not finishing the tub. I was disappointed especially since Avon's Anew is reputed to work so well.

what the product says is true
I can't much add anymore detail than what was already expressed by reviews, I can add however my experience with the product. Avon says: Product Description: Streak-free mascara that will weather the weepiest of movies. Washes away with soap and water It's true enough. Application of the product is easy and does not clump, the product does not cake on the applicator brush and applies thinly on my lashes. It dries fairly quick on my lashes so applying layers of it can be done quickly. Once applied because it dries pretty quickly, it doesn't go in to my eye and hurt me like some of the other mascaras I've tried before. It is not overwhelming with just a few layers of the product on my lashes. It just seems like I have thicker lashes than I really do. I find it great for day wear or office wear. I will need something slightly heavier if I were to have an evening function. Once it has dried though, if I put too many layers, after a while the mascara cracks and migrates or spreads into small powdery like substance on my lower lid. This powdery cracked mascara combines with my eyeliner that has migrated further out to the outer corners of my eyes, kinda giving me a miniature cleopatra look, it doesn't look smokey it only makes the make up look worn out or in need of a touch up. I bought this for a summer outing event that had a water event. So swimming in the pool or taking a deep by the sea didn't not make my mascara run. It stayed put, so the waterproof part of the product did prove true. It's not expensive and the tube is thin enough to fit in my bag organizer. The applicator is not curved so it's easy for me to apply the product at either corner of my eyes with the tip of the applicator brush. Using the same applicator brush tip, it is easy to put on the product on my lower lid lashes, (because the brush isn't curved). There's nothing I hate about it because it didn't make expect anything more than it simply claimed. I would buy this again for as an everyday day wear mascara, I just need to be careful about putting to much because it will crack and spread as a powder around my eyes. It also makes good on its promise of getting washed off with soap and water, so a regular cream or foamy cleaser gets it off quickly and doesn't require me to do it over which I do for some eyeliners that stay behind especially at the outer corners of my eyes.

Avon Flavor Savers Lip Gloss--yummy!
I think this is my first ever purchase from Avon. I always buy strawberry, when that's out of stock then it is cherry. I love how the smell on my lips and of course the taste. I love how it fits into my smallest bag. I love how I can put on regular lipstick on top of it to keep my lips from cracking which usually does when I put on a bad lipstick. I love how you can put it on regular lipstick for that added shine. I even like how I can use it as a lipstick remover. I haven't tried it as eye make up remover but why wouldn't it work? I guess it would just be icky. I love how it just slides across my lips and how almost instantly my cracked lips would stop stinging from the salt in my saliva or a cold breeze. I also love the price. I kinda not like how easily it comes off. It also smudges off on to my clothes or my partner's during sweet moments. I also loose the cap in my bag every so often, and because the cap is small, it's difficult to find.

a good gloss
I used the peach fizz all the time. It was the one lip gloss that I could afford back in college that was actually natural looking on me. I liked how the color was so lively on me and how nice it was against my skin tone. Putting it on was nice and smooth. The product comes in a tube and has an felt q-tip type applicator. What I loved about it was that it was and still is cheap. I loved how it can fit into my smallest bag. I loved how one layer can get the gloss on my lips without having to layer on so much. I liked that it lasted me a long time before I had to buy a new tube. I would buy it again, too, if only it didn't chap and crack my lips after about two to three days of constant use. I also stopped appreciating the fact that color would turn from peach to baby pink as it wore on, the chemical nature of my lips and saliva changes the color as the hours went by. I also don't like that scum that forms around the insides of the screw cap. There are also times when the gel liquid substance seperates from the color and the shiny flecks which was another cue for me to get a new tube even only after four or six months after purchase. I also tried a different shade, it could have been the product I got, bad batch or whatever, but the berry cool was sticky like tapioca and was very difficult to apply. Being able to afford other and better brands now, I have stopped buying this one.

Niacinamide is what makes stay with this product
Because I grew up with my mom using oil of olay, I decided to follow suit and use the updated version of olay. What I initially liked about the product is its pump action bottle. No mess no fuss. One pea size go on one side of my face and another go on the other. So a little goes a long way so this product lasts me a while. I like the niacinamide which independent study show to decrease the risk of cancer caused by uv and helps lighten dark spots. Hopefully, there is enough niacinamide in here to make a difference. I like the fact that it has some spf, it's simply competitive, especially considering its price. But if you were going to have an all day event in the field, on the road, out in the sun, you may as well get a foundation with higher spf with this underneath as your moisturizer. I don't much care for its tint though, it may complicate evening out your tone when putting on foundation, so I use their total effects night firming cream which dries clear or my body shop mattifying cream as a moisturizer before putting on foundation (if i must put on foundation). Otherwise, this tinted moisturizer is something I use when I just go to work or non-occasions. The first bottle I bought had no scent, but the second bottle i am on now does, i might have missed a memo about that somewhere. I think the scent is light enough so it doesn't bother me. The cream itself is light and spreads nicely and like its night time counterpart, this dries quickly and does not stain my clothes or collars. I can be oily so this normal to combination is at times tedious but I use oil blotting paper and shine free pressed powder so it offsets my oily nose. As for the anti-aging, I haven't seen the effects too much. So that part is a drag, but if the key to avoiding wrinkles is good moisturizing then this is a suitable cream. I would buy this product again unless I find something better.
