A good scrub for someone with normal/combo skin.
I confess, I bought this for the same reason the first reviewer did. It was cheap and money is tight. But it is a good scrub. The little grainy bits are just the right size to gently exfoliate your skin, not so small that they don't really do much in the way of cleaning out pores and exfoliating, but not too big or coarse to irritate/scratch your skin like alot of natural scrubs do. I really feel like my face and pores get a good, deep cleaning with this product. My face always feel sqeaky clean and refreshed after using this.

A great ingredient!
Pure cocoa butter is very hard and rather waxy in its solid state. When it is warmed/melted it is just like butter-but not as foamy-therefore putting it on in that state (by itself) is rather an unpleasant sensation because it feels very greasy! Moisture-rich, but greasy! For that reaason it makes a great ingredient in beauty products that I make at home in my kitchen! I really like melting it down and mixing it with sugar and a touch of olive oil to make a nice, moisturizing body scrub. My skin always feels super soft after using it!

Gotta love the butter!
I first bought this because it was on sale at Target for $2.79, a great value. I had used it in junior high and buying it again made me realize how great it is. It has the perfect consistency-not too thick, not too thin-and it makes your skin baby soft! I like using it after I shave my legs. For once I don't have to keep reapplying lotion multiple times afterwards because of my dry skin, just need one application with this! Of course the best part is that is smells like a Kit Kat candy bar! However, it does take a little while to sink in to your skin, like five minutes, so it feels just a little sticky during that time. But after then it feels great!

Like a gentle lullaby!
I'm the kind of girl who RARELY uses up an entire lip product, but I did with this stuff. It took a while to do so since the tin is so generous but I enjoyed every day (or should I say night) of using it. It became part of my nightly ritual-I probably wouldn't use it any other time of the day because it would probably feel a little to greasy to me, given that it is comprised mainly of essential oils. The smell really is like a gentle lullaby. I would whiff it in (I applied to my lips but I would also put a little around my nostrils to smell it better, ha ha) and it would make me so relaxed, comforted...and sleepy! Since using it up I have missed it and I can hardly find it anywhere.

Not a good value.
This refill pack only has 3 cartidges in it for a rather high price. If you were to purchase say, a Gillette Venus refill pack for your Gillette Venus razor, you would get more refill for the same price. This of course is because you are paying the price for the lathering shave bar that comes on the cartridges. This is a disapointment because those shave bars are nothing more than just soap, and not very good soap at that (read my review for the Schick Intuition). They're really not worth paying the extra price for the refills. I would go with a different shaving route if I were you.

The entire design of this shaver makes it much too bulky to get a decently close shave. The way this thing is supposed to work is that as you apply gentle pressure while you are shaving it pushes the blades forward. Unfortuntley this set up does not work as well as anticipated, given the fact that 9 times out of 10 the lathering shave bar that surrounds the blades gets in the way of a decent shave, leaving hair not shaved down to the skin like it should be. And this is particularly aggrevating when you come to the realization like I did that this "lathering shave bar" is really nothing more than just a bar of soap (and a not very good one at that, I found that it really dried my legs out and did not provide nearly the lubrication that I needed for a comfortable shave, so I ended up just using more shave gel anyways, which seems like such a waste), much like the kind that already sits in you shower, so you might as well just use that. Apparently the makers of products that believe that you should "evolve" beyond using a boring old razor and soap didn't really think this whole thing through

A treat for the senses.
I love the thick richness of this body wash! It is unlike any body wash I have ever tried! And it has such a rich, foamy lather, very pampering! This is a great body wash to use in the winter months when the air is dryer and harder on you skin. For the rest of the year it's also great because it is so moisturizing you can actually skip applying lotion to you skin after your shower, which is what I do when I use it, especially when I am more presssed for time. It's also really great for shaving your legs because it doesn't dry them out and gives a close, lubricating shave. Contrary to what some reviewers have said, I did not find it "oily" or "greasy" at all, it is just very moisture-rich. I just wish I could find a (full-size) bottle of my favorite scent, which sleek satin-or some name like that-in a perriwinkle bottle. I've only been able to find it in trial sizes so I end up buying like five of them, which I'm sure isn't very cost-effective.

I've used better.
This soloid feels rather greasy to me, which is not the way a deodorant should feel, therefore it really does much like a deodorant in my opinion. The anti-perspirant properties are poor, This stuff is so thin I usually sweat through it. And the deodorant aspect of this product are just a disapointing, all it really does is try to mask the sweat smell, whixh just kind of maks the perfume smell blend together with the sweat smell leaving a very strange and icky aroma

Inexpensive and effective for the most part. Razors with two blades seem to give me the closest shave, so I have never had a ton of luck with those fancy shavers with the replacable heads. It doesn't give the closest shave I've ever had though. I've had better luck with the blue women's shavers from Gillette, but I can't find them on this site. Anyway, these are good too. Shaving went well when I was working on my calfs/ lower half of my leg, they gave a pretty close shave. And they did pretty well when I did my thighs, but I did notice a little redness and irritation while shaving there but it went away quikly/very soon after I got out of the shower.

Still not sure how I feel about this.
First of all, the packaging is adorable! I think I must have an updated version of this because the shimmer strips are actually wavy and it says that it is a blush as well as a highlighter. I have it in the "Healthy Glow" shade, which is a very cool-toned berry pink. I only swipe my brush along the lighter shades of pink because the darker ones leave my cheeks looking rather magenta-colored. It blends in well and lasts a long time. The reason why I am not sure how I feel about this product is that it seems to draw attention to the pores on my cheeks thus making them appear larger. Also, while I love products with shimmer in them, I think this blush has a bit too much-so much in fact that it almost has a rather metallic finish to it that looks rather odd on my cheeks. Maybe that's why it emphasises my pores? I tone it down by dusting face powder over it but it is still rather noticeable. So maybe using this as an eyeshadow would be a better option. That's what I may end up doing, mostly because I don't want to waste the 10$ I spent on it.
