    Clinique Concealer Brush

    A great brush

I love this brush! It's by far one of the best concealer brushes I've ever tried. It's a little pricy, but it's completely worth it! You get great coverage, and it never streaks! I really like how the tip is tapered towards the top so I can get really close to the inner corners of my eye instead of trying to blend it with my fingers like you have to do with some other concealer brushes. You can also get really close to your lower lashline without any harsh lines! The fact that the brush is flat is really nice too! It makes it even less prone to streaking. I wish the tips were a little bit softer, but overall it's a great brush and it's definitely worth the price.

    Chapstick True Shimmer

    Just...gross.

My lips almost look metallic! And not in the good way. The shimmer is more like glitter, and there's way too much of it. I've never found a lip balm to look chalky, but this definitely does. It doesn't even moisturize my lips! It's gritty, chalky, and doesn't feel good. It's just not cute. When I went to re-apply it halfway through the day it looked terrible and there were sparkles ALL over the place. I feel like it was designed with little kids in mind. There's also the fact that it tastes and smells like medicine. Ugh, it's one of the worst balms I've ever tried. Don't buy it!

  • EOS Organic Lip Balm Smooth Sphere

I saw the packaging on this, and I immediately bought 3 of them. It's just so cute! I thought it would be a little bit awkward applying it because of the shape of the balm, but it wasn't at all! It makes my lips super soft, and it smells super nice! The mint one especially feels really good on my lips. It's not THE best when it comes to moisturizing, but it gets the job done decently, and it's just so cute that I have to keep using it! I don't get why people complain about it feeling waxy, since it's a lip balm and they all feel exactly like that. They all have a different scent (depending on the color you buy) and the Lemon one is by far my favorite. They also taste like what they smell, but it's not an overwhelming medicine-y taste. It's really light and I really like it. I honestly keep coming back to these because they're so adorable, and I can kind of take them anywhere since they're relatively small. They also last just about forever! I've had a Sweet Mint one for over a year now, and I still have a considerable amount left even though I use it almost daily (you do have to reapply this balm a lot though, but I didn't find it to be a problem). I recommend this product, and since they're so cheap I don't see how it wouldn't be worth it!

  • Maybelline New York Fit Me! Pressed Powder

Maybelline New York Fit Me! Pressed Powder

    Definitely one of my favorites

I picked up this powder because I needed something new (my old powder wasn't very good) and I wasn't really sure what to expect. Maybelline is kind of hit-and-miss with some of their products. I was pleasantly surprised with how good this powder is. They actually have a shade light enough for me (which is rare, even with higher end expensive brands) and it covers really well. It also controls shine, which a lot of powders don't seem to be able to do. It's super soft but didn't look chalky (which seems to be a theme when it comes to inexpensive powders) at all. I definitely recommend it! For the price, it's kind of amazing! It's one of the best drugstore powders I've ever tried. I'd buy it again.

  • Maybelline New York Dream Matte Powder

I bought this as a quick, cheap powder because I ran out of my more expensive powder, and you definitely get what you pay for. It's a good powder if you don't have oily skin. I have combination/oily skin and it doesn't really do much to control shine, but it definitely does cover and even out your skin. I was also able to find a shade that's actually pale enough for me - a rare thing when it comes to powders since I'm so extremely pale, and it wasn't too yellow either (that's another HUGE problem with makeup for me). I prefer more expensive higher-end products, but this is a good product if you need something fast. Also, I don't like the little pad that comes with it, so I just use a powder brush which seems to make the powder go on a lot more evenly. The pad makes it difficult to apply.

  • CoverGirl LashBlast Length Mascara

I do like this mascara. It never clumps and makes your lashes look clean, even, and separated, but it really doesn't make your lashes longer. It takes at least 2 coats to notice any change, and it wasn't much. I already have long lashes so I'm fine with this mascara, but I can see how you would hate it if you had shorter lashes. On the bright side, it doesn't flake and it lasts for a very long time.

  • CoverGirl LashBlast Fusion Mascara

I usually love mascaras from this line, and this one does a relatively good job at covering my lashes and making them appear fuller, but it flakes really badly! I so much as touch my lashes, and it comes off! The brush is nice though. It's something I use exclusively for my lower lashes.

  • Urban Decay Shadow Box

This is my go-to palette for all my eyeshadow needs. I tend to switch between neutral eyeshadow and the super bright stuff, and this palette has both! The colors are just so fun! And they're typical amazing Urban Decay quality. They're so pigmented and satiny and go on super smooth. They also blend well. Did I mention the packaging is adorable? I don't use the little sponge-tip applicators that come with the palette, because they just can't compare to brushes, but they don't take away from the amazingness of this palette. It's totally worth the price!

  • Urban Decay Book of Shadows Volume IV

Not only does this palette come with makeup, it comes with tutorials and a speaker! I know some people found this useless and stupid, but I found it adorable. The eyeshadows are SUPER pigmented and they're such gorgeous colors! They go on super smooth too, since the texture is so soft and satiny. They're only 2oz off of full size and there are SO many of them for the price you pay (I got my palette on HauteLook for about half off, but it's still an amazing deal full price). The only complaints I have are about the gorgeous royal blue shade Blue Bus and the shimmery purple, Gravity. They're just not as pigmented as most of the other Urban Decay shadows, but I still love them. Of course, the primer potion is 100% perfection, and the eyeliner worked amazingly! I was really surprised with the mascara too. It's not the best I've tried, but it's the perfect size to pop in my purse so I can use it whenever I need a touch-up. The packaging is EXTREMELY large for what's inside, but I don't really find it a problem. Many people are complaining about how it's actually the size of a book (which it is), but just so cute! I mean, there are 3D butterflies that pop out at me whenever I open it! And when I do travel with it, it honestly doesn't take up much more space than what I used to bring. The price is phenomenal compared to the actual value, which is well over 150 dollars. I haven't felt the need to use any other palette since I bought this one.

  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
    10.0

    Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

    I can't live without this

I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have this primer to use everyday with my eyeshadow. It works SO perfectly. Since the day I started using it 2 years ago, my eyeshadow hasn't even creased once even after around 12 hours! I personally think it's about the same as Too Faced Shadow Insurance (which seems to be its biggest competitor) but I'm still sticking with my Urban Decay. It goes on super smooth and has a little bit of pigment to even out your skin tone. It dries extremely fast and makes shadows go on so much richer. I don't have to splurge on super high-end eyeshadows anymore, since this primer makes any cheap 2 dollar shadow look AMAZING. I have really oily lids and it has yet to fail me. I just can't get over how perfect this product is. I've been using it almost religiously every single day for the past few years. I've had the same bottle for almost that entire time! It lasts FOREVER even though the bottle is really small, because you need to use such a tiny amount. I'm not planning on switching primers anytime soon.
