Femmescience Night Cream
Silky smooth, creamy with almost the consistency of whipped cream, and delighted to say greaseless. Those were my first thoughts upon trying this night cream. A very small amount (nickel size) was ample to cover face and neck. So many potions and creams tout the benefits of letting a product revive/rejuvenate skin as you sleep but that’s a bit of a problem if said product is heavy and oily. This cream is extremely light - just a gentle kiss goodnight. We’re told that this cream encourages cell renewal while providing free-radical protection to help prevent visible aging damage and increase skin’s overall brightness and texture. Having just used it for a few weeks I can’t speak to the eventual results but can say that skin feels softer and smoother in the morning. One expects excellent results considering the ingredients: Acai, Avocado, Shea Butter, Green Tea, Squalene, Peptides and Hyaluronic Acid. Not to be overlooked is the very reasonable price for a jar of cream. One can easily find creams containing like ingredients with asking prices two, three and even four times as much as this by Femme Science. Combine the early result of use with the affordable price tag and you can sign me happy. Disclosure: This product was sent by the manufacturer for possible review.

ORLANE VOLUME CARE MASCARA
Orlane certainly well knows its way around a brush as the bristles on this brush are so placed that each lash receives makeup and volumnization. And there the color stays - no need to refresh during the day or add-to for evening. I was so pleased with this mascara that I had to compare it to others in my makeup cabinet. A very pricey one appeared to have no brush bristles at all, actually almost a flat surface. Wondered why I’d spent several lunch monies on that one - must have been the name! Another’s brush bristles were almost “bushy” so that mascara was brought to lashes in small globs. Plus the brush itself was a little over one-half inch in length so that one smooth application wouldn’t have been possible - just had to keep putting it on. Kudos and gratitude to Orlane for this perfect brush! Also, can’t help but wonder what bit of magic is in Orlane’s formula because this mascara actually nourishes lashes, leaving them soft, natural not at all stiff - just longer and thicker. Try applying the mascara in a back and forth zigzag motion - a clump wouldn’t dare! I was amazed at the difference Volume Care Mascara can make.

Antonym Certified Eye Pencil in Noir
Whether I'm drawing a precise line or smudging I'm delighted with this eye pencil. No tugging or pulling necessary as the pencil goes on easily, smoothly, and stays right where you put it.

Le Jolie Crayon
Do believe countless praises have been sung re Votre Vu’s Eiffel Power Mascara but I’m more than happy to reiterate here because of the great look it provides when paired with Votre Vu’s Le Joli Crayon. Love their French Accents line! Quite simply, the appearance is beautifully intensified when this duo is worn. Lashes appear fuller, longer, plumper and all the while the wearer is still enjoying the benefits of this botanically engineered mascara - support due to curative cotton bloom and illumination thanks to natural waxes. Pencil liners have never been my friends due to the tugging and pulling of delicate skin when trying to apply. I’d about decided never to try a liner again until Le Joli Crayon - hallelujah! There’s all the difference in the world - this crayon is not only the favorite of makeup artists but is now on my A-List. The gel crayon goes on like silk very much like a liquid yet allows time to feather and smudge. Once it sets it is there to stay - no smudging and you can even shed a delicate tear or three. Another plus is that it’s as easy to remove as it was to apply and a sharpener is included in the package.

RICH, CREAMY AND SMOOTHING
This is a rich, creamy lotion that softens skin. Somehow, it also seems to act as a calming, relaxing influence as you smooth it over your body. Perhaps it is the subtle floral scent that contributes to this feeling of well being. Whatever the case, it has restored moisture to my skin whether it has been dried by too much sun ( in hot weather I keep my tub in the fridge so its super cooling, too) or chilled by frosty blasts. While it is very effective it absorbs quickly and leaves absolutely no greasiness or film on your skin. That’s a huge plus when used after a morning shower! It is simply one of my top go-to favorites. A little bit of it goes a long way, so the large tub lasts months despite almost daily use. Lush calls it their “number one best selling product,” and I can certainly see why. Among the primary and powerfully soothing ingredients are Oat Milk, Lavender Oil and Rose Water. Speaking of ingredients hope the world knows by now that all the ingredients used by Lush are fresher than fresh. Do not know of another company that prints a “use by” label on its package! Just another example of the integrity of this company. Further, I’ve never seen a Lush product that didn’t allow more than ample time for its best use. My Dream Cream “use by” date is October 8, 2014!

The Neil George line is new to me, and I’m delighted to discover it. Hair care and body products are offered by two English expats Amanda George and Neil Weisberg who have become the go-tos among celebrities . Their Beverly Hills Salon on Civic Center Drive is mecca for the beautiful and the bold, winning raves for both cuts and coloring. Their product line is extensive, holding many temptations. I began with the Neil George Shampoo which is the ultimate, a luxurious shampoo infused with a rich Indian Gooseberry blend and botanical extracts that tend to make hair shine, shine, shine! My hair is fine so while the shampoo delivers a luscious lather it did not weigh my hair down. Since my hair is also short a quarter size dollop in the palm of my hand delivered lather to spare. A repeat shampooing was totally unnecessary. The clean scent is subtle and reminded me of fresh air, the outdoors. Love the easy to grip tube for the shower and the results - squeaky clean, manageable hair. Cannot wait to try more from this estimable team,.

Ro's Argan Body Conditioner
They say seeing is believing, well, in my case trying is believing, too. I’d heard of Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner and understood that it was to be used like a hair conditioner for your whole body. Yes, that’s right - top to toe. Simply smooth on your skin while it’s still wet from shower or bath. Then gently pat dry and you’ll be super soft, smelling like a rose. Sure, thought I, what a dream. Hey this dream came true. I have absolutely no idea how Lush did it, only know it works. Needless to say it’s also a time-saver. No more standing on a bath mat apres bath and slathering body lotion all over. You’re ready to go once you’re out of the bath or shower - just pat lightly with a towel and let the remaining dampness be absorbed by your skin. Included in the formulation are many of life’s good things such as Shea Butter, Argan Oil and Brazil Nut Oil, which accounts for the all-day-long moisturization. The fragrance is subtle, clean and fresh. Some may say Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner is a bit pricey for this tub, but believe me you need very little to cover a wet body. You’ll be surprised at how long it lasts and delighted that it does.

Votre Vu Vu-On Rouge
When preparing to board a flight aren’t there things that you absolutely must have in your purse? Necessities of the first order just in case your luggage is lost or you must make an emergency landing on a desert island? Wherever I am, whatever I’m doing one of my must-always-have-with-me items is Votre Vu’s Vu-On Rouge in Bouquet Rose. Housed in a slim silver tone 2 ½ inch tube (about lipstick size) it slips easily into pocket or purse. Yes, it’s diminutive in size but delivers a rich flush of color to cheeks and lips. Bouquet Rose is a wonderfully flattering shade of rose, which is completely natural in appearance. (Think of those envied English complexions or what Scarlet O’Hara achieved with a few pinches). Its formulation includes shea butter, mango seed butter and jojoba seed oil so it not only brings flattering born-with color to cheeks and lips but also moisturizes. The rouge is creamy in texture so it glides on smoothly, easily blending and feeling soft on your skin. Color remains on cheeks throughout the day and evening while lips sometimes need retouching so I like to keep an extra Vu-On Rouge in the glove compartment of our car.

The Most Marvelous Mascara!
Armani’s Eyes to Kill Excess might also be called the mascara to die for - it’s a jet black volumnizing mascara that turns lashes from ingenue to star quality. Lashes appear to have a wet, patent-like shine that adds intensity and depth to the eyes. Your baby blues become sapphire; brown orbs become a smoky topaz. The brush is unique; it’s a thick outsize roller that separates, coats and texturizes lashes with an ebony sheen. Depending upon your application you can keep the color modestly subdued for day and raise the volume when the moon comes out.. Whatever works for you - just keep EYES TO KILL EXCESS MASCARA at the ready. Due to recent innovations in texurizing agents lashes remain natural and flexible even when you’ve amped volume to the nth. We love to wear this mascara with one of Armani’s new lipsticks - Rouge d’Armani in #513 or #402 - perfect for those with fair skin.

A FRESH, WARM FRAGRANCE
We’re particular when it comes to fragrances, we don’t give our hearts easily but simply couldn’t help it - we fell in love with Armani’s ACQUA di GIOIA. This is a fragrance that makes us feel, warm, happy, invigorated, anticipatory, so glad to be alive in a world brimming with possibilities. It is a very natural fragrance, fresh with blended scents of crushed mint and Italian “Limone Primo Fiore Femminello", harvested from the first spring blossoms in Calabria. In addition, there are traces of Cedar and Brown Sugar. So very Armani - unblemished harmony. ACQUA di GIOIA is a morning, noon, and after hours fragrance as sunny as a Greek island by day and as intoxicating as ouzo by night. We also love the shape of the bottle, softly curved, reminiscent of gentle waves. Mr. Armani has overlooked nothing in the creation of his latest scent.
