    Bonne Bell Glimmer Bronze

    Little goes a long way!

I know Bonne Bell typically targets the younger girls but this bronzer is great for adults as well! I'd describe it as a fine shimmer rather than a satin or pearl finish so it's not an everyday product for me, but it's great for occasions! Totally worth it! Hope I helped!

  • Alberto VO5 Extreme Style Curvaceous Curls Styling Mousse

I couldn't live without it! I use it when my hair is still mostly wet and just work it through. Then scrunch a lot and let it air dry! Perfection every time! The curls/waves are not the softest, but it looks good enough that I can look past that. Hope I helped! PS As a point of reference, I've got naturally wavy hair that's thick and somewhat frizzy.

  • Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Moisture Mist (Aerosol)

I scrunch my hair a lot and the mousses and gels can make it a bit stiff sometimes. This stuff is perfect to rehydrate your hair after styling! Just a light mist and shake and it's as good as new. You can also use this on your skin! It's nice and light and has a fresh fragrance that's not overbearing. Perfect for summertime to keep hair (and skin) lightly conditioned. Overall a great product!

  • Mario Badescu Skin Care Mario Badescu Drying Cream

I got a sample of this drying cream (I don't know why the picture shows the buffering lotion..?) and it's wonderful. If you start to feel one of those deep non-yet-visible blemishes a dab of this will bring it to a head overnight! Sometimes in a matter of hours, sometimes a tad longer. But it's soo expensive. Everything from Mario Badescu is which makes me sad, but out of the samples I have, this one I'm likely to invest in once I run out. Hope I helped!

  • Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo

    Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo

    It does what it claims!

I love love love this stuff. I have an oily scalp and this is the ONLY thing keeping me sane right now! Haha! It removes the buildup that I get naturally and I'm sure it'll get rid of product residue as well (I don't use much product of any kind near my roots). You can use it as a once a week treatment (that's what's recommended), but I've found more frequent use hasn't dried me out or anything. Hope I helped!

  • Maybelline New York Unstoppable Eye Liner

This gets ten stars not because it's the absolute best liner in the world, but it's sooo convenient! AND because it's pretty darn good! My one tiny complaint is that it doesn't stay on my waterline, it kinda seeps out, but that can actually look really awesome. Sometimes I'll go for that look intentionally by applying then putting in some eye drops that make me tear up! I've also used it as a base and applied black shadow over it for a super deep black, and the powder makes it last longer. You don't always have time to pull out the pot of gel liner and the little brush or the eyeshadow you like to use as a liner so this liner is perfect in those situations! It's my everyday liner and I save the other stuff for occasions. And the great retractable tube is a MUST! Hope I helped! PS I wish "Jade" had a deeper greener payoff.

  • Maybelline New York Shine Free Oil Control Translucent Pressed Powder

For me, of course. This is that one thing I can't leave without. It does have talc, which is probably the reason for the "chalky" reviews, but I haven't ever had that problem. If you have oily skin, this is for you. I get Ivory (I've been "Ivory" since middle school when I started using this!) and yes, it is VERY fair, but it has sheer to no coverage. It's simply a shine controller, so I use other powder foundations and blushes and all that good stuff at home and use this to touch up my pesky T zone. If you're looking for a mattifier, this is for you! Hope I helped!

  • Maybelline New York Full 'N Soft Waterproof Mascara

I don't know if it's me, but I seem to have weak lashes (and a horrible habit of tugging on them when I'm nervous!). I've heard that waterproof mascaras can have a drying effect so I've started to try regular formulas, but as far as waterproofs go, this one it definitely "full n' soft". It's the best one out of my waterproofs to get that almost fake lash look (with many coats of course) and good for daily use as well. I just wish they would put that cute little mini brush in this one like they have in some of their others! It works perfectly! Oh well. Other that that, it's great. Hope I helped! PS Be sure to remove!

  • Biore Self-Heating Mask

    Biore Self-Heating Mask

    Wonderful home spa experience!

Lost a star for the heat not lasting as long as I'd like. But that's it! That's the only drawback! The heat lasts way longer than the warming cleanser and is a fun special occasion mask for a relaxing beauty night with the sisters (or friends, or mom, or whatever!). Hope I helped!

  • Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer
    8.0

    Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer

Good stuff if you find your shade!

These convenient little tubes are wonderful, but since it's an on-the-go item, I feel I shouldn't have to worry what it looks like. That's why you gotta get the right one. These ARE pigmented. Champagne for me was a waste (perhaps because it was too cool?). I'm not sure, but Coffee (I think it's called) applied thin is perfect for a deep, not overbearing, brown. The darker colors work for me as a shimmery lipstick-like base under clear gloss because even though they are moisturizing, they last. So find your shade and you'll be set!
