    Burberry Brit Eau de Parfum

Note about the eau de parfum

I love Burberry Brit eau de toiletette. I love how fresh it smells and the way it dries down, and the way it lingers on my coats. I agree that it makes for a great signature scent, something that can be worn all year long. When I saw the eau de parfume was avalible I got really excited and purchased it. Sadly, although it shares a few notes with the eau de toilette, it doesn't smell true to Burberry Brit to me. I was hoping that in the eau de parfume I would find a stronger, longer lasting version, but whatever ingredient gives the eau de toilette it's freshness seems to be completely absent. As a result of that missing freshness, the parfume is a much warmer, almost spicy scent that is really only appropriate for winter.

  • L.A.M.B. Fragrance L L.A.M.B All Over Me Body Lotion

Not that this scent is terrible, but I doubt I ever would have purchased it based solely on its own merits. I love Gwen Stefani, and that's what sealed this deal. To me, this smells VERY strongly of gardina, almost like I picked up a gardina lotion from a body shop- although it does seem to saturate my skin with a heavier concentration of fragrance than a body shop type lotion. Although this isn't my absolute favorite scent, I decided to use it up and for two nights in a row used it on my hands before bed. By the second night my husband wanted to know what new product I was using that was irritating his eyes and nose so much. In my opinion this is an okay scent, but I wouldn't reccomend it if you have sensitive loved ones.

    NARS Blush

    Worth springing for

I love orgasm-color. I always feel so glowy when I wear it. I can't find anything cheaper to imitate it. It's one of the few spends cosmetics I routinely spring for.

L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Makeup

It's the right color, that's all

Meh. I use W3, and I keep buying it because it's the only thing I've come across so far that actually is the right color for me. I really have to work with it to build full coverage over any blemishes/dark circles, and it immediately settles and creases in the little laugh lines around my mouth- which I didn't even notice until I used this product. I'm in my mid-twenties. I look forward to finding something better.

  • E.L.F. Essentials Eyelid Primer

I fell in love with the urban decay potion primer, but I can't always afford it. I asked at Sephora what my other primer options are and she said she didn't have anything for cheaper that could rival urban decay. I picked this one up, because it was cheap enough that I wouldn't feel bad trashing it after the first use if it was awful. Boy was I in for a pleasent surprise. It does everything for me that the UD potion does; completely conceals the unevenness of my natural eyelid color (way better than foundation), and sets my shadows and eyeliner so they last all day. Best of all, I was worried it my irritate the sensitive skin on my eyelids, but I have yet to have a single issue! I feel like they are generous with the amount they put in the tube too, one little thing has lasted me several months of weekday use. One thing I would suggest though (which I found to be true of UD primer as well) is letting the primer sit for about a minute before applying shadow or liner. Usually I do my blush in the meantime.

  • N.Y.C. New York Color Eyelash Curler

This curler is useless for me. Perhaps it's because my eyes aren't particularly wide, but the curler is so flat that it dosen't reach any of my lashes.

  • Freeman Feeling Beautiful Mint & Lemon Facial Clay Mask

I have dry skin except for my t-zone and have been looking for a product that would clear the the tiny pores in the creases of my nose. I've tried peels, scrubs and strips but hadn't had much luck until this mint and lemon clay mask. I picked it up while grocery shopping because it was so inexpensive, and because I remember my mother using freeman products when I was a girl. I LOVE it! It smells fantastic and after the mask dries I can see the little dark oil spots over my clogged pores! I've used it twice and nearly all the little blackheads on my nose have been cleared out. I'm really impressed. I would have paid quite a bit more for this product. And to top it all off, it's made in the US!
