Actually gives soft bouncy curls and tames frizz! Great product!

I was VERY impressed with this product! I have Desperately been looking for a mouse or gel that I could put into my damp (wavy) hair, go to sleep on it wet, and wake up with curls- not frizz or "hard" hair or greasy "product-y" hair- and this is the closest thing to perfect I've found yet. (Yes, I am often "low maintenance" when it comes to my hair... If I "iron" it straight it looks great, but the curl is the natural "easy' thing, and I am ever trying to find a way to wear it curly, and tame the frizz and really like the way it looks...). I truly love this "Whipped Creme"- it literally looks and feels like silky whipped cream out of the can, the smeall is nice, and amazingly it leaves my hair soft (and I do get curly waves) when it dries, and it tamed The Frizz Problem. I was actually surprised it was as cheap as it is, given some of the Very expensive products out there... Yes, I'll be buying this again! :-)

Aveda Brilliant Retexturing Gel

So far the best gel for my curly hair...

Just started using this after a recent trip to the Aveda salon, and so far it's the best gel I've found for my curly hair (I have a frizz problem...). I was not crazy about Aveda "Be Curly" as it really didn't do that... When I wear my hair "natural" I want a head full of "ringlet" curls, and years ago I had a great gel that I would put in my wet hair, go to sleep on it wet, and wake up with a head full of bouncy, perfect ringlets... so naturally I haven't found a gel like that in the last 5 years! (If anyone knows of one that will do that PLEASE tell me...). This is so far the best one I've found lately, but not exactly what I'm looking for, Not enough product & it doesn't do much (hair still frizzes...), too much and your hair is stiff w/product. I'm still experimenting with it...

Soft, floral, girly, classic, and delicate...

A lovely soft, delicate floral scent with just a hint of woodsyness- my husband said he liked it on me :-) I only wish it lasted longer on me! It's definitely a classic scent: girly and feminine and "pink", and a great addition to one's fragrance wardrobe!

Philosophy Hope in a Jar

OK moisturizer, using as part of Makeup Optional kit

Decided to try the MakeupOptinal kit after reading so many great reviews. So far so good, but no dramatic resutts yet! LOL (I'm 50, look pretty good, but am always looking for the Miracle Product(s) that will remove fine lines, tighten/tone & remove discoloration!) As a mousturizer it's ok, non greasy, & I haven't broken out from it. Don't mind the rather medicinal smell. Jury is still out!

Philosophy Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Cleanser for Face and Eyes

Good cleanser, using it together with Makeup Optional kit

I recently decided to try the Makeup Optional regime after reading so many positive reviews of it. So far so good, but no dramatic results yet! LOL The cleanser is good, doesn't dry out my skin or make me break out, and I use it once or twice a day (always in the evening). We shall see!

Harvey Prince Ageless Fantasy

Fun- no one's yet commented that I look-smell 40, but hey- it's worth a try!

Bought this (eBay... heavily discounted) to try it after reading all about it, and it is fun... I bought another bottle to decant into little atomizers for my girlfriends as "favors" for my 50th birthday party! I'm still waiting for someone to ask if I'm 40 (I just turned 50)! Nice smell that's very "grapefruity", and while I personally prefer Joy or Opium, I have been wearing this when we go out!

Aveda Inner Light Concealer

Seems to accentuate fine lines... not that crazy about it...

Bought this together with Aveda face makeup, and tho' I like the makeup a lot I am not crazy about the concealer. It seems to actually accentuate all the fine lines around my eyes, and even though it doesn't seem lighter, it also seems to give me light 'racoon" eyes. So I wind up using only the face makeup...

Aveda Inner Light Mineral Dual Foundation

Good coverage, no breakouts, good color match- happy so far

Started using this last year as an impulse purchase after I got my hair done @Aveda & needed facemakup that was a better match to my skin tone & gave more coverage than the powder "mieral" makeup I was using, and so far I'm quite happy with it. A good color match & it covers the red & blotchy bits, I don't brake out from it, the coverage lasts, & I don't get oily spots. I just wish it didn't seem to accent the crepe-y lines under my eyes...

Supersmile Professional Whitening System

Only products that work for me- on stained enamel-loss- and no sensitivity!

I tired this- the toothpaste & accelarator- because I read good reviews on it and it is actually working without making my teeth hurt! I have enamel loss on the tops of three front teeth for several years which got Badly and darkly stained from red wine & smoking. NOTHING worked to remove the stains, and the "strips" I got from my dentist were so painful I had to stop. I've used this set for only 4 days so far (with an Oral-B "spin brush") and it is actually working- the stains are already really light on 2 of the 3 teeth!!! YAY! I'm sold!

Olay Regenerist Regenerating Serum Fragrance Free

Nice, velvety feel

I like it for the soft, velvety feel it gives my skin, I use it daily when I run out of my AminoGenesis products. I also mix it with Sephora's Vitamin C powder. I have never seen any real anti-aging results from it. It's not terribly expensive, so i can keep it in my office desk and put it on frequently.
