Here are all my reviews:
  • Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow

This deluxe eyeshadow is as "deluxe" as it can be. It's highly pigmented, which is always a plus, the packaging art is unique for every color, and it's pretty big for an eyeshadow single. It's a little expensive, but if you're willing to add a little oomph of vibrant color, I suggest buying this. However, it is hard to blend unless you counteract it with another bold color. (I myself own the Honey color, which is a sparkly golden. I use it as a highlighter on my tearducts.)

  • Essie Nail Polish
    7.0

    Essie Nail Polish

    High-end, but not that high-end.

This is comparable to Sally Hansen nail polish, however, it has a larger range of shades. Up-to-date, I have four Essie shades--Shifting Power (gold), Chubby Cheeks (saturated red), Timeless (pink-mauve), and Midnight Cami (midnight navy blue). They seem to be very inconsisent with me. Shifting Power dries faster than all of them, and Timeless and Midnight Cami are the hardest to apply (of course Midnight Cami would be, since it's one of the darkest colors Essie has to offer). If you do want to purchase some of these though, I suggest running into a Trade Secret with a "Buy One Get One Free" deal.

  • Sally Hansen Salon Nail Lacquer

Contrary to most reviews, the light colors were very gorgeous, and applied well in one coat--not at all streaky. (But, I guess it was because I was shaking the bottle vigorously before I even bought it to see the real color.) I bought this polish in "Fizz It Up"--a light, champange color that has a pearl-like shine. Very lovely and elegant. The packaging was very professional, and I loved the rubber grip-handle which was comfortable. Another plus is that it dried quickly. I'm considering buying some more since they're on sale right now.

  • Flirt! Chickstick

    Flirt! Chickstick

    It's okay.

I've been told that this lipstick is like MAC Cosmetic's lipstick. Well, if that's true, then MAC's mustn't be worth the price. I bought this in Darling, or some kind of bright mauve-pink, and it feels a bit dry--not as luscious as some inexpensive brands like Rimmel or L'Oreal. It lasts for a few hours alone, then just flops. The container is cute, I'll give you that, even if it feels plastic-y cheap. There's a smaller amount of product than most.

  • Avon Beyond Color Radiant Lifting Concealer
    4.0

Avon Beyond Color Radiant Lifting Concealer

    Concealer for the Oompa Loompas.

I bought this in the Medium shade in which, people could tell I was wearing concealer because "there was something orange on my face". However I give it props for the brush-like applique and smoothness.

  • Josie Maran Cream Blush
    8.0

    Josie Maran Cream Blush

    Sunset; like an inner glow.

This is actually the first cream blush I've used (sort of risque, especially with an expensive product). It will last a long time--I've used it for about a month and it's seemingly almost full. Sunset is an peach-pink color, however I thought it was mauve-ish (like Stila's Convertible Color in Peony, but it was more like Gerbera). The thing is that it's hard to spread out because the cream has a thick viscosity but I guess, if you rub hard enough...

  • Smashbox Eye Shadow Trio
    10.0

    Smashbox Eye Shadow Trio

    On Stage; Natural and Flawless.

I use the trios like a pot of finger paints--I dip my finger in the darkest color first and rub that into my crease. It will hit the mark, it'll apply evenly and well without a bit of color out of place (and if that does happen, use the lighter color and blend). The powder itself is amazingly silky and luxurious. I also love the material the container is made of--this somewhat hard rubberish plastic material.

  • Laura Mercier Lip Balm
    9.0

    Laura Mercier Lip Balm

    Gorgeous and natural-looking.

This balm does not come on clear--it's a dusty rose/mauve color with subtle gold flecks which makes the lips look moist and supple. The reflective gold flecks bring out a lively color in your skin when applied. I like the scent--it smells like...cotton candy, and tastes like it. It's pretty small but gorgeous and compact for its price, so if you want to save about $15, just go try Yes to Carrots or the good ol' Chapstick.

  • Pond's Cold Cream Cleanser
    9.0

    Pond's Cold Cream Cleanser

    Refreshing and multifunctional.

I've been using this jar of cream to remove my makeup for a while rather than a facial moisturizer (I follow what's on the jar, it never said it was also a moisturizer) and it always felt too oily on my eyes. However, it removed my eye make up with ease yet left this somewhat irritable rosemary-jasmine scent. It's pretty strong. I've just used it as a moisturizer as of late and it's oily (as in a very shiny complexion) in excess, but I just wet my hands and do another rub-over and it's okay. Best of all, it soaks in quick--a few minutes--and my skin feels supple. For a thick cream that comes on translucent that's less than $4, I deplore you to buy this; it's great for recessionistas.

  • Avon Bond Girl 007 Eau de Parfum
    10.0

Avon Bond Girl 007 Eau de Parfum

    Pops; fun and adventurous.

When I saw the promotional picture and scent-rub patch in one of the AVON leaflets, I just had to experiment with it. I couldn't stop rubbing the paper because it was so soft and juicy and effeminate--it just popped! It's a fruit-floral scent with wood notes and it's just so alluring. Even the bottle is gorgeous--a feminine shape with retaining this gorgeous peach-gradient colored perfume. Although it's strikingly fancy, this is even great to wear on casual days. For a perfume that's only $30 and cheaper compared to most others, this has to be the best choice in fruity scents.
