Disney Takes Down Their "Sexy" Version of the "Brave" Princess

maybe the "wild, arctic cloudberry" is doing my skin some long-term good, but i sure can't see any benefit--not in brightening, moisturizing, nor in "pampering/renewing" as the package states. mild grease in a bottle.

i am constantly bleaching, coloring, and re-coloring my long, fine hair, with lots of heat-styling. i really push it to its limits! the only thing keeping it going is this smooth, light-scented, CHEAP, hair mask that i use as a regular conditioner. if i happen to run out, i won't wash my hair until i can grab more--any regular conditioner would mean tangles like a jungle. i HIGHLY recommend to anyone with damaged hair!

this is my all-time favorite facial moisturizer w/spf. it goes on so light, not at all greasy, dries fast (so i can get on with my makeup without stinging my eyes!), has a delightful fragrance, and a little goes a long way so i think it's well worth the price.

very versatile, very high-quality brush. i thought i lost mine recently and about had a heart attack.

i love how light this is--just a few pumps is more than plenty for my long, fine hair. it's a little sticky, but the scent is phenomenal--i get so many compliments on the fragrance alone. really great for blow-drying and light styling, never leaves hair crunchy. i liked the tip about using with the volumizing tonic--i'll try that, although i wish this would add volume enough on its own. definitely a staple for me no matter what length my hair happens to be at the time.

goes on so smoothly and comes off well--not goopy and heavy like a lot of masques. definitely brightens and leaves my skin SO smooth. i'd give it a higher rating if i felt it had a good tightening effect, too.

while i can't say enough about aveda's color-specific color conditioners, i never found anything near as special about this shampoo. i think drug store brands do just as well.

this goes on nice and light, very smooth and barely noticeable... but the benefits are barely noticeable either. tightens and brightens a little, but not so much i'd buy it again.

i can't stay away from red hair... it takes a lot of upkeep, so i don't keep it forever, but i always eventually go back. i wouldn't even consider it, though, without aveda's color conditioner (they have 2 shades of red). it adds that extra bit of color that is so easily lost (red is the hardest color to keep, as the molecules are twice the size of other colors and doesn't adhere as well). keeps red hair vibrant FAR longer. the one drawback is it can get a little messy so watch for stains on skin and know you'll have to clean your shower a little more often.

I was recommended this product at Sephora, and found the concealer itself to be fine... but not necessarily any better than a much cheaper drugstore brand. What I HATED about it was the container... while the concept of a twist tube that dispenses product into a brush at the top seems like a good idea, I didn't feel the brush really helped with even application; it always dispensed too much and I ended-up having to blend separately. Even that would be passable for me EXCEPT the lid wouldn't stay attached past the first week! It would keep falling off... so not only did the concealer within dry-up quickly, but it would also often make a mess by leaking all over in my makeup bag or drawer. This really needs a twist top or some better packaging design, otherwise you're asking for a lot of mess and a lot less concealer than you paid for.
