Gwyneth Paltrow Preachin' to the People: Modeling's 'a Perfect Job for When You Have Kids'

This is a review of a sample of the Whish Shave Crave Shaving Cream. I really wanted to love this product, if only for the HEAVENLY blueberry scent. I even had my husband try it, because I absolutely adore the scent. The biggest problem we had with it, is that the product sticks to the blades when you try to rinse your razor off, even with warm and hot water. My husband said he would consider purchasing it if he used a straight razor. I first used it on a small area (underarms) and it seemed to work well (with the exception of rinsing the product of the razor). It did not spread as easily on larger surface area (my legs). It does go on more like a lotion than a shaving cream. My goodness I love the blueberry scent though. If this were an "after-shaving" lotion/cream, I would definitely purchase it!

This is a review of a sample size I received of this product, and this is why I wanted to purchase the Birchbox sample box! I love this product, and am definitely planning to purchase it soon. Wonderful exfolliant and my skin feels soft, smooth and radiant! This is the first "enzymatic" product I've ever tried. I didn't expect it to have exfoliation properties (abrasive), however it has a very fine grain abrasion to it. It is very thick, but spreads on the skin more easily than I expected. A little goes a very long way so I feel it will be an excellent value. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and have not had any problem with break-outs after about 2 weeks of use. It apparently has a a light rose scent, that is so light, I didn't even notice it, and that's a good thing to me.

I know that this goes against popular opinion, but while the color is fine, this product just goes on a bit too thick for my taste. I prefer a product that absorbs and blends seamlessly into the skin, which this product does not. I found I had to really work to get it blended and smoothed. I also did not find it's more cake-y finish to be very build-able, and my mineral makeup did not go on smoothly over it. I purchased a sample/travel size tube and used it 4 or 5 times before coming to conclusion. I would not purchase the full size product, especially for that price.

Sexy Big Sexy Hair Spray & Stay Intense Hold Hairspray
The Cadillac of all Super-ultra-hold hairsprays!
OMG! This hairspray is to DIE for! Okay, so first I have to say, that unless I were suffering a concussion, I could have never have imagined myself paying so much for "just a hairspray" ($17.95/can). Until now. So here's what happened: Last Christmas, I was an actress in a six night, seven performance dinner theater that was set in the 1940's. Of course our super-set, victory-rolled hairstyles required plenty of setting products, and mucho hairspray. Especially since I was also in charge of hair and makeup, I had practiced my hairstyle for weeks before the production. The day of our first full costume run-throughs (we were going to be running the show twice that day. It was one of our first chances for full costume, and wearing a hat over victory rolls isn't very easy, so I wanted to practice it.) It took me longer to get into costume than I thought it would. They called the cast to be ready in 10 minutes, and I hadn't even started to style my hair. When I realized I left my hairspray upstairs in my bag, I fellow cast member offered me her "Spray and Stay". I quickly teased and rolled my hair, and finished it off with a dose of the Big Sexy Hair product and ran to the stage shoving my hat onto my head. At the end of the day, when I went to brush out my hair, I stopped and looked at my hairstyle for the first time since that afternoon, and it hit me: My hair looked EXACTLY like it had looked early that morning when I styled and sprayed it. My rushed hairstyle had made it through 2 runs of a fast-paced musical in which I took my hat off and on several times during the show (without a mirror), danced, ran, and sweated all over the stage, WITHOUT A HAIR OUT OF PLACE! I couldn't believe it. Then I thought, "Well this is going to be fun to brush out!" Yet it brushed through my hair almost as if there wasn't any product in it! I ran out the next day and purchased my own can of awesome-ness to have for the run of the show. It's especially perfect for updos and half up-do's, but I also use it as a finishing spray when I'm wearing my naturally straight hair down in waves or curls. It does stiffen up the hair, but not weigh my ultra fine, yet volumous hair down. I'm now a Big Sexy Hair devotee.

1/2-1 little pump of this stuff, and my well-processed, almost matted, hair is silky smooth! I discovered this stuff when I received a sample of it while I was in beauty school. I received it from a "professionals only" supply shop and gave it a try. The first thing I noticed was the heavenly smell! Sweet and scrumptious, but very light. The next thing I noticed, is that a little goes a very long way. If I either use too much, or if I apply it from root to ends (rather than the reverse) it makes my roots feel too greasy. I work it thoroughly through my ends first and then up through my roots, and it completely detangles my hair. Even if I don't use conditioner. A 2 ounce bottle lasts me up to a year, so it's worth every penny! Liquid gold.

Finally! An eyeshadow palette of matte and satin earth-tones! And it's Urban Decay which is a huge bonus. This palette consists of 6 neutral shades: 3 lighter shades (Venus, Foxy, and WOS), one medium shade (Naked 2), and 2 darker colors (Faint and Crave). The colors go on smoothly, but I've had some difficulty blending the dark shades (which is not an unusual experience for me with the darker shades of UD eye shadows. However, that is why I knocked of 2 stars) They are really nice colors though, without a hind of sparkle, shine, glitter, or shimmer (which of course makes for a much more attractive look for maturing eyes.) Not a bad value at $27 either.

These work wonderfully at removing facial makeup without breaking me out (I have very acne-prone skin). They are not good for removing waterproof or resistant eye makeup. They remove even longwearing foundations beautifully. Great when you're on-the-go or just feeling lazy.

I really wanted this to work, but I did not see an ounce of improvement in my skin. I didn't like the smell, the price, really anything about it.

I've probably used this for a decade or longer. I try other lotions, but keep coming back to this one. I find it to be the perfect texture, rich and creamy without being to thick, and definitely not too watery. It smooths over my body and absorbs well into the skin, though it does take a few minutes, but not longer. The scent is heavenly unless you don't want people telling you that you smell like a chocolate bar (then I would go with the unscented.) It may clash with your perfume (deodorant, etc) if you aren't careful.

My husband accidentally bought this brand when he was running errands for me, but I like it well enough to repeat the purchase since then. I feel like it gives my legs an even silkier feel after shaving. It doesn't lather up and go on as smoothly as I feel my old stand-by did, but I don't care if the results are better. It starts out as a mostly gel consistency (with some lather mixed it) and then turns in to a lather. It goes on a bit too thick, and I have to mix some water into it, but I don't mind.
