I was shocked

I recieved this hairspay as a gift. I have to say, when I sprayed it I was highly shocked! This hairspray has a strange, very distinctive, offensive, and discusting odor. I could not believe it is even allowed to be put on the market! It held my hair in place alright. But the smell is so unbearable I can't stand to use it. I suggest if you are planning to try it to spray a little while in the store so you don't waste your money. I used it twice for two different occasions. I thought maybe It'd get better the second time. It didn't. I had a friend smell it to see if it was just me. It wasn't. She thought it was horrible as well!
