This conditioner, which is part of the Neutrogena line, is really a wonderful product for the price. Actually, it puts you in mind of Redken's All Soft line which is about twice as expensive. It conditions well without leaving your hair greasy or weighed down.

L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Explosion Carbon Black Mascara

Expected more

I really wanted to like this product. The concept was intriguing and the price was right. The first time I used it, I realized immediately that the brush was awkward and would take some practice to learn how to use it efficiently. However, the mascara itself clumped my lashes together and made them spikey. The next time I used it, I wiped off all of the excess mascara from the brush hoping that would cut down on the clumping. No such luck. Final verdict: great brush, lengthens lashes, but at the expense of clumps and spikes.

Yves Saint Laurent Beauty Parisienne Eau de Parfum Spray

Quietly sensuous

I really enjoyed this fragrance. It starts out with rose and dries down to a warm, sensuous mix of jasmine and berry. I usually wear "soapy" fragrances because that is what I think is safest in the work environment, But, this scent does not knock you over. Rather, if makes you lean in for more. Although I personally wouldn't wear it to work, I don't think it would be inappropriate applied carefully.

Multitasking wonder

This is a hardworking, frills free moisturizer. It can be used on lips, feet, knees, elbows and as an all over heavy duty moisturizing cream. It restore suppleness to skin that would otherwise crack and peel. It is fantastic.

Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets

My oily skin savior

I love this product! As a very, very oily gal, I find myself reaching for it at least 5x per day. It blots the oil without disturbing your makeup, adding powder or shouting out to the rest of the world that that is what you are doing. The price is great, it does the job wihout costing an arm and a leg. The packaging leaves much to be desired, but I never take the package out for the world to see, so it makes no difference to me.

L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Original Mascara

Nice length, too many clumps

The first time I used this mascara, I thought that there were so many clumps because I didn't know how to use the wand. It resembles a ball on the end of a stick, and while it is useful for getting those elusive corner lashes, the clumps are just not worth it. However, after a week, I thought that I had gotten the hang of it; still clumps galore. On the positive side, if you take the time to wipe off the wand until it is almost dry, and then comb the clumps out of your lashes, the length is very nice. But, many of us will find that is too much work when there are a number of comparably priced mascaras that do not require so much effort.

Maybelline New York Volum' Express The Colossal Washable Mascara

Doesn't dry out your lashes

I like this mascara because it does actually noticeably thicken your lashes. And it does a pretty good job of not making them clumpy or spikey. But, this tube has a tendency to separate. By that, I mean that the rubber "washer" type of ring at the opening that is supposed to wipe the mascara wand as it is pulled out of the tube comes out on a regular basis. It makes for quite a mess, and it you are pressed for time, it is time out of your routine.

CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain

doesn't live up to the hype

This product sounded wonderful, long lasting, adjustable colors that didn't dry out your lips. Unfortunately, the advertisement was a little over-the-top. The color that comes out of the 'marker" is either too dark or too light. There really doesn't seems to be an in-between. And, when I try to either blot or build, neither works out very well. It doesn't dry out your lips, but it is not particularly long-lasting either.

Old school gem

I often forget the oldies but goodies. This product lasts forever and a little dab before drying makes my hair smooth and moisturized. I like that it is not greasy. And, because it lasts so long, the cost really is quite reasonable.

Maybelline New York Great Lash Washable Mascara

Brow tamer

I have never used this on my lashes. It does a great job of holding my brows in place however. It has a tendency to come out of the tube pretty thickly, so I would advise dapping it on a paper towel before sweeping it over your brows. Good product at a good price.
