Smooth skin, no nicks!
I hate shaving my legs. So anything that can make the process easier and less painful is going to get two thumbs up in my book. This razor definitely passes the test! The five blades make short work of stubble, and the shape of the razor and swivel neck mean very low risk of nicks - even on my chubby legs! The handle is easy to hold on to, even with slippery with shaving cream or oil. I definitely approve! It's not cheap, but I'm willing to pay a little more for smooth, nick-free skin.

Pretty and interesting
I was pleasantly surprised by YSL's new perfume Parisienne. I don't usually care much for rose scents, but this one is livened up with berries and woodsy notes, and the overall effect is pretty and modern. I don't find it too "old lady" at all. If the perfume were a person, I'd call her reserved and elegant (as opposed to fun and flirty, for example).

Favorite Morning Cleanser
I really love this creamy cleanser. It helps to keep my pores clear, breakouts at bay, and doesn't dry my skin out. I read in Allure that it is supposed to help with oil-control if used in the morning, and I think that it does. I'm on my second tube, I like it that much. It rinses clean, and doesn't leave any residue on my face. Overall, I recommend it for an inexpensive anti-acne cleanser.

Good Coverage, Thick Texture
I tried True Match and found that the color I picked was indeed a good fit for my skin. It has excellent coverage and stayed in place all day without fading. It's definitely a good foundation if you are wanting full coverage and long wear. What I don't like is the bottle - it's easy to waste product because it is very difficult to control how much pours out of the bottle. A pump bottle would definitely be an improvement. The bottle is actually the thing that would stop me from purchasing this again - I don't like wasting product, and I'm using this up too quickly for it to be a good value for the price.

Has A Learning Curve
In general, I really like this mascara, It gives very nice definition to the lashes, with volume and length. It doesn't flake or smudge during the day. There is definitely a bit of a learning curve to using the brush, however, I like that the brush coats my lashes right down at the base to the tips, and I like being able to push my lashes upwards into the curl. The learning curve comes in figuring out how to use it without bumping your eyelids or getting too much product on your lashes at once. After a few tries I have a technique that works for me, so I'm really liking this product. It definitely lives up to its claims for me.

The True Shimmers from Chapstick are a fun, inexpensive product. It's the standard Chapstick formula with added shimmer and a hint of color. Drop one in your pocket on your low-maintenance makeup days when you want a little something on your lips besides a clear balm - the shimmer is pretty subtle, not wild and crazy. They are flattering, tasty, and most of all, very inexpensive. You won't cry if you lose one! Chapstick did a nice job with these.

Good for a smudgy look
I seem to be in the minority, but I really like the Kohl Eyeliner from L'Oreal HiP. I use the navy color to line both top and bottom lashlines, and also on the waterline on the bottom. Unlike SO MANY eyeliners, this one actually STAYS on the waterline all day! The navy is dark enough to be almost black, but the blue will brightening the eyes and looks awesome! You do have to be gentle, because the stick is a little pokey if you aren't, but I didn't have any problems with scratching my eyelids. The only thing I don't like is the fallout on my cheeks - no matter how careful I am, there is always powder falling down on my nose and cheeks. The moral of that story is to do your eye makeup first, and THEN do your foundation/face makeup, so you can wipe the fallout off your face without taking off all your foundation. Overall, two thumbs up if you want a smudgy, smokey look.

Fun and Pretty
I really like how fun this gloss is. You can squeeze one side or the other, or both to get a unique color combination. They taste like cake batter (this is good) and the colors are pretty. It wears quite well and isn't sticky. The only thing I don't like is the packaging. It took me longer than I like to admit to figure out how to get the lid off and it's difficult to press both tubes at once. However, it's still a nice lip gloss for the price.

Pretty Decent Mascara
Max Factor's new 2000 Calorie Extreme mascara isn't just a mascara, but is also a "lash plumper" according to MF. I guess this makes it a volumizing formula. Overall, I find it perfectly acceptable as a mascara but I wasn't totally knocked out by it. It goes on smoothly, coats evenly, doesn't clump up, doesn't flake or smudge during the day. It holds a curl well. The black is nicely black, not grey. But overall I was left thinking "That's it?" after using it. It's a good mascara, but doesn't really rise above the sea of other good mascaras out there.

I have been really pleasantly suprised by Max Factor's new lipstick. It's very creamy, not drying at all, and has a super-smooth texture. The color Rose Rage is a pretty mauvey shade, and the pigmentation is great. It had a slight staining effect, so even after the lipstick had worn off (and the lasting power was pretty good!) I still had some color to my lips. I like that the shade is shown on the bottom of the tube - this makes it easy to pick out without having to open the tube to see what color it is amongst my stash. I think the Vivid Impact lipstick offers good value for your money!
