I'm always on the look out for an orange or "warm" based lip stain so when I saw this product in "Blood Orange" at the store, I didn't hesitate to pick it up. I couldn't wait to try and put it on but as soon as I did, I was immediately let down. First, the ball type applicator was a disaster. It wouldn't roll smoothly on my lips so I ended up with a lot of color on some parts of my lip and almost none on other parts. It also wouldn't color my top lip as well as the bottom lip. I've had to use my fingers to distribute the color evenly which I really hate doing because I end up with stained fingers. The color wasn't too bad but it was indeed an orange red color. Although this stain wasn't drying to my lips, the color didn't last long at all. Within the hour, it was already gone. A big disappointment.

Be careful when you have sensitive skin
I have sensitive skin and this product burned and stung when first used. For the same reason, I only apply it on problem areas as opposed to putting all over the face. I found that areas around the corner of mouth and eyes are a no-no as it will overly dry these areas. With that said, the product DOES work in reducing oil in problem areas (mine is on the t-zone area). I have also successfully used it as a spot treatment for occasional monthly break-outs. It helps pimples heal and dry up quicker. Yes, the product doesn't smell too good but it isn't bad either. I use this product 2-3x a wk. Any more than that and I get overly dry skin. Overall an ok product.

I prefer the Fluid version
This is the cream version of the Anthelios XL tinted fluid spf50+. Just like the fluid version, this comes in a very sheer medium tan tint; much sheerer than typical tinted moisturizers. The tint is not enough to cover small blemishes and hyperpigmentation. Instead it leaves a slight wash of color. On my medium tan skin tone, the color is virtually invisible and blends right in. The tint is not enough to cover blemishes and/or hyperpigmentation so if you seek that kind of coverage you may have to wear foundation on top of this. With all that said, this is the best chemical sunscreen I have used in terms of protection, texture and cosmetic elegance. I live in Hawaii and I don't tan through this thing at all even if I had been in direct sunlight for several hours. I used this (and the fluid version) when I was using Retin-A which made my skin ultra sensitive to UV light. The protection was simply unparalleled compared to US based sunscreens which still caused me to tan. I took off a star because the cream version was a bit heavy and shiny for my oily complexion. I prefer the fluid version of this sunscreen which was significantly lighter in texture and felt like I had nothing on my face. Also, like the fluid version, this product did not cause me to break out. I have acne prone skin and it's hard for me to find a sunscreen that doesn't give me pimples by the second day. This is one of a few that doesn't. Highly recommended if you don't mind wearing chemical sunscreens.

Very good product
I take daily showers and when I go for a run I sometimes take 2 showers in a day and my skin suffered for it. I developed some dry, itchy patches on my arms and legs. Even with liberal use of moisturizers the problem persisted until I found this product. No more dry, itchy skin and I didn't even have to cut down on the amount of showers I took a week. This product is very moisturizing and very gentle to skin. It combats minor skin ailments like irritation and dryness because the ingredients aren't harsh. A real good buy.

A *real* lipstain in the convenience of a pen
I'm a lipstain junkie and I have tried so many out there, from expensive to cheap. This is one of the best lipstain I have tried thus far. It has a felt tip applicator reminiscent of a marker for extremely precise application. The product goes on smooth, streak-free and evenly. The finish is sheer to semi-sheer but can be built upon with additional swipes of the product. At first I was reluctant to try this, seeing as it only comes in one color and thought the color wouldn't flatter me at all. But...the color truly is universal. I was really surprised it worked out for me. It's very flattering and totally wearable for daytime without looking harsh. It gives just the right amount of flush that give you that "your lips, only better" effect. Lasting power is excellent too, lasting thru light meals and a beverage. I'd give it about 5 hrs without fading. It's non-drying, even when worn alone but for added moisture, I top it off with a colorless lip balm. Unlike other lipstains that leave a ring around your mouth when it fades, this product does not and instead, fades evenly. A truly excellent lipstain. Yes it's not cheap, but this product truly delivers in performance.

Nice shadow if you're going for the subtle look
Having been spoiled with MAC and UD eyeshadows, I find this brand of eyeshadow a bit lacking in color pay-off. The texture is smooth, glides on easily and blends with a breeze so it isn't a bad eyeshadow in and of itself. It's great if you're going for a subtle look, especially for daytime and the neutral shades are good to use as an all over eyelid color base.

Very high color pay-off
Comparable to MAC and Urban Decay for its color intensity. Also, very true to color. What you see in the container is what you get on your lids. I have all of the colors and the bright pink one called "Mess in the Dress" I very occasionally use as a blush for the heck of it (lightly applied of course). My favorite colors out of all these is the Sitcom Siren and Neptune which compliments my skin tone very well. Can be used wet for more intense pigmentation or dry for a more subtle look. I have used it with and without eyeshadow primer and it lasts a long time with either. The primer helps bring the colors out more though.

Not bad for a drugstore pigment
I love collecting pigments, no matter what the brand so when I saw this at my local drugstore, I decided to pick up a couple colors. At first, I wasn't too impressed as I found that applying it dry, straight from the container produced a lot of fall out and it literally got everywhere on my face, not just my eyelids. What worked was applying the pigment slightly wet and pressing, instead of swiping, on my lids. I didn't use the brush applicator that came with this. Instead I used my eye shadow brush dipped in water. Done this way, the pigment came to life and color pay off was good. The wet technique also helps the pigments stay in place. Having been used to MAC pigments, the only complaint I have about this particular product is it's a bit too coarse than what I'm used to. Still, for the price, it was pretty good.

This is one of the better consistency lip glosses I've tried (and I've tried a lot), in that it isn't too sticky, thick, or goopy. In fact I'd venture on to say it's on the thin side. I have "First Blush" and "Groove" which is the perfect color on me for daytime wear. Length of wear is just like any other lip glosses out there with this consistency. If you eat or drink anything, it WILL come off. On me it lasted 2 hrs without eating nor drinking and that isn't to bad.

Way too sticky
I've had this product for a while and I've only used it twice because it's too tacky/sticky. Hated the way it felt on my lips. Sure it lasts a bit longer than glosses with thinner consistency but after a few minutes, my lips felt like they were suffocating under this thick gloss. If you have long hair like me, you have to wear it up or pulled away from your face because your hair will stick to your lips like crazy. I love MAC products but this is one of the very few I'm not too thrilled with.
