    D.J.V. Beautenizer Fiberwig LX Mascara

    Great alternative to fake lashes...

Fiberwig was an impluse purchase at Sephora one day. I was browsing the aisles as I often do, and came across the end-cap display of mascaras. Fiberwig coats your lashes in tiny extending fibers with each swipe, to lengthen and thicken. I was blessed with nice lashes to begin with, and this creates an excellent nighttime or special occasion look, without having to glue on falsies. Make sure to wash thoroughly with warm, soapy water and the fibers (which look like little tiny lashes) come right off. Great alternative to the time and expense associated with false lashes. Worth the splurge!

  • Maybelline New York Lash Discovery Mini-Brush Waterproof Mascara

This is my go-to mascara. I always have one lurking in the bottom of my make up bag. While I have two or three mascaras in play at any given time, this is always part of my regimen. The tiny brush separates and coast every lash in one swipe, and is particularly handy for lower lashes and outer corners. I never buy department store mascara, and you really cant beat the price of lash discovery.

  • E.L.F. All Over Color Stick

    From an elf junkie

I tend to purchase almost anything from elf, whether or not I have a recommendation. Because the products are so cheap, I don't mind when every now and then I get a dud. This all over glow is a dud. Doesn't quite beat out my more expensive Sonia Kashuk from Target version, and doesn't hold a candle to Tarte. The first time I used this product (pearly light pink shade), a giant chunk smeared off onto my cheek. After I wiped away the excess I blended, and ended up with a nice result. Only problem with the final result was the sticky texture. I am absolutely turned off by any sticky beauty product. Still gets 5 stars because at a dollar- who can complain?

    Well worth the investment

At just a couple of bucks, the Elf studio blush is well worth it. I personally bought the blush bronzer duo, with a medium tan bronzer and bright peachy blush (think Nars Blush/Bronzer duo). The final product gets a 8 because although the color looked great and stayed put, you must apply with a very light touch. The first application left me with peachy streaks across each cheek. The second time around I tapped off much of the product and ended up with a summery glow. Very flattering. Love the packaging (also, ala Nars).
