Women in China Have Found the Secret to Safety -- Hairy Legs

This is a great primer to specifically hide large pores, a job not all primers can do. It works well to also blur fine lines and helps makeup stay put all day, It also works very nicely on it's own to smooth skin texture and give a finished look. It's great by itself for any time you want to look a little more polished, but don't want to do your entire face of makeup. Under foundation this primer smooths out skin so makeup doesn't settle into pores. Without a good primer, large pores can look magnified with foundation. This primer does the job better than most! You don't need a huge amount of product, so a tube will last a long time. I also like that you can apply this ON TOP of your foundation if needed. Be careful not to rub in, use more of a patting movement when putting over foundation. Great if you need a touch up during the day (which is unlikely because this product works for hours and hours). It also does a good job at keeping shine away all day. All around excellent product that really delivers!

To be completely honest, when I bought a couple of elf brushes it was to get my total purchase high enough for a free gift set. I figured "how good can a $1.00 makeup brush be?". But I was so very pleasantly surprised when I started using this one. The bristles don't shed, are soft and apply shadow beautifully. I've had mine for well over a year and wash it every couple of months and have never seen even a single one of the bristles come out! I would never have dreamed that makeup brushes that cost A BUCK would become some of my favorites. I love many elf products and really appreciate that they offer quality products at such affordable prices.

It Cosmetics Review Title - best foundation EVER! I have so much positive to say about this product. I've found my holy grail of foundation! After much consideration I order It Cosmetics Celebration (powder) Foundation from their website. It's fantastic and so is their customer service! I was trying to decide on a shade and emailed back and forth with them several times. I also was trying to decide if I would like the dual ended foundation/powder and small concealor ended brush they offer with the foundation or the flat top foundation brush offered by QVC. They were more than happy to explain the differences between the two and were extremely kind and helpful. I was thrilled that they offer a Light Medium shade because I usually fall between Light and Medium. The shade is PERFECT for my skintone and probably the best match I have ever found. The powder glides onto my skin like air, but covers any redness like a dream. The small, fluffy concealor end of their brush is just right for around the eye &/or nose area or for anywhere you want extra coverage. With it I was able to cover a small area of sun damage seamlessly that I've never even found a concealor that would cover! Being a powder foundation you wouldn't think it could offer so much coverage, but boy does it. It contains no bismuth so it isn't irritating. I've tried mineral foundations that contain bismuth and they makes my skin itch so badly I literally want to claw my skin off. This amazing powder foundation hides pores and lines/wrinkles so flawlessly - it doesn't settle into any of this imperfections. It's like you've taken an eraser to your skin and gotten rid of all the bad stuff and left behind only the good and the good is looking it's absolute best. There is no shimmer, no "dewy" look. Just a soft natural matte finish. The brush lays down he foundation with very little effort and the bristles on both ends are so soft feeling. With just a little buffing the foundation blends beautifully! My husband's actual words were "your skin looks porcelain doll-ish!". Is there a better thing to have said about 44 year old skin?!?! By the end of the day the foundation looked just as perfect as when I first applied it - with NO TOUCH UPS! And is so comfortable it's like there's nothing on my skin. I signed up for It Cosmetics email newsletter on their site and received a 20% off coupon. Plus for orders over $25.00 you qualify for free shipping, so it was less expensive to order from them than to order from QVC. Plus they include a free sample with each order. I received a travel size of their Hello Lashes mascara. It's a really nice mascara that doesn't flake and with the little ball on the end the wand, I could really reach in and get all the little lashes, so it makes me look like I have more lashes! It's also perfect for getting those little bitty bottom lashes. I will definately order his Celebration Foundation again and probably venture into some of their other products.

**ADDED 5/28/13** I have used and loved the Shu Uemura lash curler for several years. But I needed to replace mine and thought I would look and see if I could find a comparable one for less money. I did! Please read my review under the Tweezerman Classic Eyelash Curler if you are interested in a less expensive curler that is just as great as the Shu! I'm so tickled with my new find that I had to share with as many people as possible :-) **ORIGINAL REVIEW** I had no idea how much damage I was doing to my laahes every day when I curled them! I thought it was crazy to spend so much money on an eye lash curler. Especially when I could buy a perfectly good one at the drug store for under $10. But I kept reading all the raves and broke down and ordered a "Shu". WOW! Before I ordered it I was changing the little black rubber thing in another brand of curler and realized there is a slit in the middle of it where the metal piece meets the black thing (sorry I don't know the proper names to the parts) and it was FULL of my eyelashes! I had been curling my lashes for twenty plus years and never noticed this. The first thing I noticed about the Shu is that there is no slit in the black rubber insert, so there's no where to break off and trap lashes. It's a domed hump curve to it so it actually puts a smooth curl to the lashes instead of just putting a sharp bend in them. It makes a big difference in the way my lashes look and makes my eyes look much more open, which is the whole point to curling our lashes! I noticed in the first few days that I wasn't loosing as many lashes, again I think because of the shape of it and that it doesn't break off the lashes when it curls them. After a few months I saw that my lashes were thicker! I actually have more lashes now because I'm not loosing them every time I curl them! So check the slit in your lash curler and see if it's full of lashes and if it is you definately need to switch. Even if it's not, the Shu provides a BETTER curl and that alone is worth the price.

I found a less expensive lash curler than the Shu Uemura lash curler that works just as great! I needed to replace my Shu curler that I've had for a few years (Shu recommends replacing the tool much more often than I did) and thought I would look and see if I could find a comparable one for less money. I love the rounded curl of the Shu, instead of the crimped "bend" you get from traditional lash curlers. First, I think the rounded pad of the Shu gives a much better look (which of course is why we curl our lashes in the first place!). I think it gives a much more open look to the eyes. But probably even more important is that the rounded pad gives a more gentle curl to the lashes. If we're really honest, more gentle doesn't matter if it doesn't look as good, now does it ladies?!?! Plus, there was no pinching, which I think is because of the domed shaped pad. What first made me give in and spend so much more money to switch from a traditional drugstore lash curler to the Shu is that one day I was replacing the pad on my traditional lash curler and noticed a few lashes sticking out from inside the slit where the metal bar comes down and bends the lashes. I took the point of a pair of tweezers and opened the slit and I was HORRIFIED to find, not a few, but literally DOZENS of my lashes in that slit!! I decided right then and there and ordered the Shu. Now it had come time for a new one and I wondered if any other brand had realized how much better the rounded pad is and found the Tweezerman Classic Lash Curler for less than $15.00 at CVS. It also comes with three extra replacement pads (four pads in total) that adds to the value. I realize this is much more than the few dollars that most lash curlers cost at the drugstore. But we spend all this money on mascara to lengthen and add volume to our lashes. We buy lash conditioners to make our lashes grow longer. Then we take this barbaric tool, stick our lashes in it and crimp them into submission. In the process, we rip some of our lashes out! It only makes sense to pay a little more to stop ripping the poor things out! If you have any doubts about what I'm saying, take a look inside the slit of the pad on your lash curler and see what you find. Seriously, go look and see what's in there.... With the first curl of my lashes I knew I had found exactly what I was hoping for. The more gentle, but BETTER, rounded curl from the convex rounded pad, that makes my lashes look longer and my eyes more open than a traditional drug store lash curler. The pad is a non stick silicone, which is also easier on your lashes because your lashes don't get stuck to it while you're curling them. All this for less money! What more can a girl ask for?

No offense to any Estee Lauder users out there, but I always thought of this as a brand for more mature women. But when I received a little sample bottle of this fragrance I was immediately hooked and saw Estee Lauder in a whole new light! My husband loves it and I get many compliment s from complete strangers (are there any better kind??). So I figured since I already knew I loved it I would save some money and order it from eBay. I didn't realize there is a. "Beautiful" and "Beautiful Love" by Estee Lauder. So keep that in mind. So it was my own fault when it arrived and smelled nothing like the sample I fell in love with. "Beautiful" is more of a fragrance for mature women in my opinion. My search continued and I found the "Love" version and all was right with the world again when it arrived. While I waited I realized the "Beautiful", topped with Bath and Body Works "Honeysuckle" makes a really pretty combination though! "Love" is a lovely floral that isn't too sweet. Intoxicating is a word that comes to mind. Since fragrances can smell different on person to person, it's always best to try any on yourself first. But "Love" is worth the try. It's sexy, romantic, and feminine, all while being modern and fresh. It lasts all day and the scent always stays true. Most of the compliments I get are from men, which in my opinion tells me it must be good! :-)

This is my favorite Aussie product and a great deep treatment. My fine, thin hair gets damaged from coloring, blow drying, curling iron and I don't get it cut as often as I should. This product helps put back the moisture in my hair, but doesn't weigh it down like so many products do. I can even use it every day without any problems. I leave it on for longer than three minutes - it's the first thing I do when I get in the shower and the last thing I do is rinse it out. I figure the longer I can leave it on, the even better it will work. The upside down bottle may not seem like a big deal, but it's much easier to use in the shower and is easier to open with wet hands and also assures that every last bit of the product comes out. It's inexpensive and since you only need a small amount, it just adds to the value. It has the signature Aussie product fragrance (has a grape scent to me), but unlike the styling products, the scent of this treatment doesn't linger, which I like because then it doesn't compete with whatever fragrance I'm wearing. It leaves my hair softer, more hydrated, more manageable, more bouncy and in better condition. No need to spend a fortune when Aussie makes this great treatment!

I used and LOVED Perfect Formula Pink, but the $40.00 price was more than I wanted to continue to spend. So when I saw the infomercial for Pink Armour I wondered if it would give that same "French Manicure" look. I was thrilled when I found it at Walgreens for $9.99 (no shipping!) so I bought it and immediately applied it when I got home. One coat gives a very pale French Manicure look, but two coats really looks like a french manicure! It's amazing that it looks exactly like Perfect Formula. Plus it adds a lot of strength to my nails. I had been having gel manicures done at a salon for over a year and am taking a little break from them. I have thin nails, so I wanted something that would add some strength to my nails and after just four days I took off the Pink Armour to see how my nails were doing and add a fresh two coats (even though the polish still looked perfect) and was excited to see that my nails looked better and felt stronger. This product is great and a great buy. Will definitely buy again and again!

This moisturizing body moisturizer is amazing! The got the fragrance so perfectly like buttercream frosting that you really will be tempted to dive in and eat it! The texture is so luxurious. It's a super thick and creamy body butter, but surprisingly it doesn't leave your skin all greasy and tacky. You only need a very small amount of this rich cream. It's super hydrating and when I use it night before bed, my skin feels so transformed in the morning! I'm left with soft, hydrated, comfortable skin. It's the perfect foot cream, softening hard, rough spots in just a few uses, depending on how bad you've treated and how rough your little tootsies are. The scent disapates over night, so if you are a night time showerer and then apply this cream, the fragrance won't compete with your perfume the next morning. But if you apply this cream in the morning, it will definately compete with a fragrance you try to apply over it. But it smells so good on it's own, I sometimes use it in the morning and skip perfume all together. Trust me, you'll get tons of compliments on how good you smell!! It's butter cream frosting, so of course it's got a sweet scent, but some how Jaqua was able to balance the sugary scent with vanilla so that it's not at all sickening sweet. It's something you just have to experience!!

I'm one of those women who buy different products often because I'm convinced there's something better out there that I haven't tried yet. But this is my "go to" hair spray that I buy repeatedly and always have on hand. It holds really well without weighing hair down or making too stiff and crunchy. But... you can always spray more if you want stiff hair or are doing an up do and want it to stay put no matter what. Humidity doesn't really effect the hold, which is a big deal for me here in southwest Florida where the summer's are really HOT AND HUMID! I have never had the nozzle clog and it always sprays in an even mist. That may seem trivial to add to my review, but I'v found that to be an annoying problem with many aeresol hair sprays. It's extremely affordable at less than $5.00 or so. No matter what brand o type I try, I make sure to always keep this Tresemme on hand because I know I can count on it to keep my hair style in place all day long!!
