Hi!  Thanks for reading my profile.  I am very happy to achieve the #1 Elite member, after much hard work.  I am a makeup and fragrance maven.  I use, among others, Benefit, Urban Decay, NYX, L'Occitane (for fragrance, limited makeup, and skin care), Too Faced, Tarte, Cargo, and Laura Geller.   

My favorite fragrances are the Juicy Couture line, Katy Perry Purr, Marc Jacobs Daisy, L'Occitane Rose, Gucci Flora, Anais Anais, and Coach Poppy.   My favorites of all are Juicy Couture Peace Love and Juicy Couture.

I do a lot of research about beauty subjects and studied Cosmetology.  I like to share what I learn with you.

I have the challenges of dry, damaged hair as well as aging on my face.  I recently lost 65 pounds, and unfortunately, when my face got thinner, my face started to sag.

I have 30 years experience as a paralegal and a free-lance photographer and makeup artist.  I worked for ULTA as a makeup artist in the prestige makeup department.

 I also do volunteer work.  I am a volunteer with the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary here in New Mexico.  We  had a big fundraiser, and I was in charge of the raffle. I obtained many donations from local businesses, including a $500 gift bag of cosmetics from Sephora!  After I met Zoerro the wolf, I became inspired to become an activist for wolves.  I could not believe what is going on in America with the mass killing of our wolves ever since they were delisted.  I couldn't stand the image of an animal as beautiful and intelligent as Zoerro being hunted, trapped, tortured and killed. His photo of him kissing his handler has become the identity of the group of like minded people I lead.  I lead a group of 255,000 supporters on my petitions, pledge dries and fundraisers on www.causes.com.  I recently had a success with limiting a terrible coyote hunt contest in New Mexico.  It was a success because it was the first time government agencies took action and would not allow the hunt on any public land, which is what the gun store wanted. We saved the lives of many, many coyotes. 

  I was accepted as a member of the Elder Wisdom Circle.org.  We write letters  to young advice seekers from all over the world who need advice about relationships, careers, love, etc. I was recently promoted to the Inner Circle, where the letters are more difficult, such as abuse, domestic violence, incest and even suicide.

My goal in life is to give back to people and animals.

Carole- you are so amazing! First, you write some of the best, truest reviews I've ever read on any site. Then to find out about your work with animals and kids is so inspiring!! I have loved wolves all my life and have been a member of Defenders of Wildlife and also the International Wolf Center in Ely, MN for a long time. If you have any more fundraisers or work on any more petitions against harming these gorgeous creatures and any of their cousins, please let me know. I would love to help! I don't know how you do all that you do but I am so glad that you do! LOL

Hello! You had posted on my thread about body lotions a few days ago, and suggested mixing a lotion and a vitamin oil (such as vitamin E)...are there any other things that you have tried or used (product) wise that have really worked for you? I use body washes from Bath & Body Works, but have not tried their body butters. I want something that will help me get the jump on the aging process LOL :) I know I am only 25, but I want my skin to look and feel healthy/young for years and years to come. Thank you again!!!

I just now saw all of your wonderful posts. (11/18/2012) I didn't know this was a feature of the site. So, I apologize for not writing back sooner. Thank you all for your very kind words! I achieved so many points because I reviewed everything I have purchased. I guess I am a real cosmetics junkie. I kept that this, doing at least 3-4 reviews every day. As I accumulated points, Total Beauty sent me products to review. During the big roll-out of TB's new site, I received double points for everything I did. I jumped from 5th place to 1st place. I did a LOT of research and wrote a ton of blogs. I am thrilled to be the # one reviewer. It is very comforting to know that I have people reading my profile and are fans! That's the accomplishment!
