  • Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Créme

I really like Fekkai's glossing cream. Only a small amount needs to be used, in fact overuse will leave the hair a bit oily. So the value is better for the price on this one than it is with other fekkai products. The cream provides very light detangling and leave the hair feeling soft and looking shiny. I like to use it before using the flat iron to assure that everything is nice and smooth.

  • Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer With Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30

Healthy Defense is a medium weight and medium duty moisturizer with a good does of Spf 30. For those looking for moisture and SPF in one shot, it is one of my top recommendations. However, for those with acne prone skin, I lean toward Eucerin's sensitive skin SPF 30 moisturizer instead. It is a little bit lighter.

  • Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub

    Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub

    Not loving Biore Pore Scrub

This scrub is a basic salicylic acid scrub that has very light (and I do mean VERY) exfoliating beads. I was not impressed. first off, it really had no exfoliating power. I admittedly prefer a stronger exfoliator, but I wouldn't call this one much of an exfoliator at all. If I remember right, the product also contains menthol, which can be irritating for the the skin. My fav exfoliator? Right now it is a Menscience scrub. Yeah, I like the men's product better!

  • Max Factor Vivid Impact Lip Color

Max Factor Vivid Impact Lip Color

    a good vivid lipstick

Max Factor’s Vivid Impact Lipcolor is certainly vivid! This high pigment lipstick provides a good pop of color that wears pretty well. The lipstick has a decent texture and is on the moisturizing side. Use a liner under it and add a bit of gloss on top, and you can get pretty long wear with nice lasting color. Look for it in drug and beauty stores.

  • Max Factor 2000 Calorie Straight Brush Mascara

2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper is essentially the same mascara as CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara. I happen to like both quite a bit and the CoverGirl one is sometimes cheaper. This mascara provides good volume and decent length and definition. I haven’t had clumping issues with it. Mostly it’s focus though is on volume with a decent amount of length as well. I find the thick tube a bit odd (it just feels fat to me), but if that is my only complaint, then it must be a decent mascara! The brush is average size, with no real taper, and the mascara wears well without flaking. Despite the lack of taper to the brush, I am able to do my lower lashes OK with this one. But I could see that bothering some people. Of the various drugstore mascaras, this is one near the top of my list. Just be sure to see which mascara is cheaper or might be on sale when you buy. CoverGirl Lash Blastor Max Factor 2000 calorie.

  • L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes

L’Oreal has come out with a very effective version of a “tube” type of mascara. L’Oreal Double Extend Lash Extension Effect Mascara is a two part system. First, a primer is applied, then a tubing mascara is applied over it. I am fundamentally lazy, so I get a bit annoyed by two part systems, especially if they aren’t really good. Fortunately, I found the L’Oreal Beauty Tubes mascara to be quite nice, so I didn’t mind the extra step. L’Oreal Double Extension does a great job at lengthening. I got more length out of this mascara than any other that I have tried in the past several months. I also had few problems with clumping, and the mascara wore well–no flaking and such. It wears OK with contacts, but be careful about removing the mascara with your contacts still in because it removes in little strings. Overall, I was quite happy with this one. I like it better than the similar Blinc Kiss Me Mascara. Plus, it is much cheaper and can be found at any drugstore. I highly recommend this one!

  • Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque

This thick deep conditioner did an excellent job of taming my dry hair and leaving it exceptionally soft. Use it for 3-5 minutes for a basic deep treatment or longer for even more moisture.

  • Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Conditioner

A good every day conditioner that does a decent job detangling. I consider it a good product that does not necessarily stand out over others in its price range.

  • Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Shampoo

    Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Shampoo

    A good low lather product

this is a good low lathe shampoo. The low lather lessens concerns about stripping color and it definitely adds moisture instead of removing it. I really liked the results that I got with this, although it is a bit on the expensive side. It also has a scent that I can’t quite place. Anyway, I am not a big fan of the scent, but it does not seem to stick around when the hair is dry, and it would not keep me from continuing to use the product.

  • Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask

I don't often rate things a 10, but I love Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask. I seriously cannot quit raving about it! This foaming mask refreshes and makes the skin look great, temporarily at least. The whole concept of the Bliss energizing Mask is to oxygenate the skin, plumping up skin cells, and making the skin look fresh and renewed. Here is the company’s information on it: A 'take-out' version of bliss spa's most famous facial, the Triple Oxygen Treatment (a favorite of so many stunningly skinned celebs, we wouldn't want to dull you with the details). At home, once, twice, or for the obsessive even thrice a week, this flash-action mask will deliver a shot of oxygen, a dose of a powerhouse form of Vitamin C, a smattering of anti-free radicals, and a moisture fix, to instantly spiff up your skin when you find it looking a little 'low' life. with vitamin C, fluid O2™, NaPCA, and EUK-134™ free-radical resisters A super-quick-fix for dull, tired, sallow, 'I'm sick of my' skin. Engineered to mimic the effects of our spa's famous triple oxygen™ (but in seconds), this fabulous new complexion brightening formula uses every 'tech' in the book to work to furnish you with a fresher, younger-looking face. engineered as a stand-in for our spas' world famous triple oxygen facial treatment releases oxygen molecules and detoxifiers a super-quick-fix for dull, tired, sallow skin super-strength skincare from bliss, new york's hottest spa To use the mask, a layer of light lotion is applied to damp skin and then left on for a few minutes while it turns to foam. During that process, it tingles quite a bit. I kind of thought it tickled at first! Then it is rinsed off. I found that my skin looked and felt great after each use of it. The effects don’t last all that long, but it is a great way to start the day! I use this several times each week regularly now. Great stuff! I highly recommend it!
