Pantene Pro-V Normal-Thick Hair Solutions Volume Shampoo

AWFUL!

I'm not sure if it's the shampoo or the conditioner or the combination of the 2, but this is probably the worst shampoo and conditioner I've ever used. After blow-drying my hair, I have zero shine and my hair feels like it has a wax coating on it. My hair typically is very soft and shiny, but this 'crap' has made it totally opposite. Since my favorite shampoo and conditioner, Sunsilk, is impossible to find, I will continue to search for something that actually does what it's supposed to.

Curel Itch Defense Skin Balancing Moisture Lotion

This stuff works!

I live in the frigid state of North Dakota, where temperatures drop to -40 and the wind blows like crazy. Winter weather like that wreaks havoc on my skin, and I found myself scratching my itchy legs to the point where they almost bled. I discovered another type of Curel lotion last winter thanks to my mom and loved it, but this winter it didn't seem to quite do the trick. I was still itchy and scratching, even though I was applying lotion every morning and evening. I decided to try the Curel Itch Defense lotion to see if that would help, and I couldn't be happier. I very rarely find myself feeling itchy, and if I do it's usually due to an external factor like the elastic on my socks. The only negative thing is that the scent isn't that great, but for the relief of not having to scratch my legs raw, I can deal with a mediocre scent!

Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion & Peel System

LOVE THIS!

I struggled with acne in high school, especially on my chin. I ended up with some significant scaring on my chin and around my mouth, and unfortunately makeup didn't help a whole lot. After doing some research about 2 years ago, I decided that microdermabrasion could be a good solution, and after looking over the products at the store, I went with the Olay system. I absolutely LOVED it. The citrus smell makes it great to use, and the results are fantastic. I love how smooth and fresh my skin feels after using it, and that feeling continues for days after using it. As for the acne scars, this has definitely helped. I saw a noticeable improvement in those scars after just a few weeks of use. I do still have some minor scars from stress-related bemishes that have hit me in the last couple years, but I can easily apply makeup and they disappear. I am very pleased with this system and continue to use it or a very similar system made my Philosophy, to this very day. While it may take longer to get results with this system than a microderm treatment would in a dermatologist's office, the price makes it very appealing. It's a great value and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has similar scarring, or anyone who simply wants smoother, more even skin!
